Decorating a fairly bright bedroom?

Alright, i really need help, because I’m really terrible at decorating.

My walls are a pretty bright teal.
Heres pretty close to the color (Sorry you have to go through a little to see it)
http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yourself/paint_colors/paint_color_palette/
Click on "Launch Color Visualizer"
Then Explore Interior Colors
In the Search for Color bar, put in Biscay. Also Surfer. And even Tempo Teal.
My walls are around those colors.

Now what I want to do is get a vintage chic type of room.
My furniture is all black.
Right now my bedding is black and white. But that can be changed.
I was thinking of getting a pale(ish) pink comforter. But what color sheets?

Then I need a little seating thing. I was thinking a papasan chair with a cream color cushion. But those aren’t really vintage looking are they? So what kind of seating thing would look kind of vintage? Also then on one wall I wanted to set up some shelves and stuff and have like a white rose thing going on there. Not real ones, just almost like a collection of a bunch of white rose type of things.

Then I need a rug! What color should it be?

And what else can I do to my room to make it look more vintage chic?

Thanks!

I was thinking of going raw vegan after being vegan, mainly to avoid cooking and making the kitchen look bombed really. However some googling and did and youtubing, i saw a few nice recipies that sounded nice, but i saw this comment of a guy

"I agree. I tried eating a raw vegan diet, but I kept having diarrhea for many months. I eat the superfoods and have drinked the green smoothies. I really like the green smoothies, but I kept having digestive problems. Once I included meat back into my diet it is totally gone! Perfect light brown firm stools now. Sorry for being graphic. I like David Wolfe and think it is great he is helping people. He has alot of good information. I just don’t see the long term effects of eating that way."

He had diarrhea for months? is that normal? is that what raw veganism does to you?

what do you think this was?

what color couch/love seat set should i get?

my fiance and i are so back and forth between two colors - fern or beige

the fern appeared dark in the warehouse, but i’m wondering how light it might actually be once it’s hit with sunlight. i prefer it looking dark

and with the beige, i’m concerned there will be a washout effect in our living room since the walls are white, carpet is light colored, computer desk is tan, bar chairs are beige seats and brown legs/arms, kitchen cabinets are tanish too. we live in a condo, so redecoration is not an option. and the kitchen and living room are open together. and computer is in living room.

our tv is a flat screen which is piano black and sits on a dark brown stand (SO doesn’t match - i know). just throwing that out there.

we do have stuff to hang on our walls, but haven’t done so yet. just moved in about a week ago and we’re procrastinators (plus we have to work)

what would you do? wish i had a link to show you the colors and the couch but it’s not available

Tuscan themed dining room and living room ideas?

My house is a raised ranch. My living rrom and dining room, hallway and entry way are all the same wall basically. I painted it a mustard yellowy golden color for walls. The ceiling is a buttery yellowish color. I have a dining room set that could adapt to the Tuscan theme. I am changing my old living room furniture. What should I buy? I want a love seat and 2 side chairs only. Coffee table and probably 1 end table. I was looking on line for pictures of Tuscan decor. I can’t find them. I’m finding pictures of places in Italy but not appropriate for my budget or taste. What colors should I buy for furniture? My kitchen is in a dark red brickcolor which goes well with the gold in the other rooms, since you see all the rooms as you come up the staris and I have red and gold accent pieces in my kitchen.

Can someone help?
it sound like it’s bright. But it really isn’t with everything put back into it. I wish I could show you guys a picture. At night, especially, the room look like they glow.

I have lived with my boyfriend for akmost 4 years and we just moved from Ohio to Virginia about 11 months ago. Before the move everything was not great really. We have hardly been one of those couples who are lovey dovey. We fight a lot about almost everything. I am 22 and he is 26 so it may be the age difference. Also I come from a bigger family but they are not that well off. I have to pay for all of my schooling and they can’t offer any assistance. His family is rather small and they consist of his mom who lives in Texas, and his aunt and uncle and 2 cousins who live in Ohio. His family are pretty well off. They were able to help us in our apartments because his credit is not too good and plus we don’t generate enough of an income that looks good on paper when filling out the stuff for the apartments. He has on a few occasions during the heat of the battle told me that my family are losers because they can’t offer any money to us if we need it, or offer any type of assistance any other way. It hurts me but it is true, they can’t offer any assistance but I still love them, but he does not understand why I defend them so much when he says stuff like that.

He also makes more money than me but it has not always been like that. For about a year or so we were making the same amount. For about 2 or 3 years he has made anywhere from 3-7 dollars more than me. He often tells me (also during the heat of the battle) that he is the bread winner and that I should not cause arguments and I should pick my battles. Things that I have argued about that have led to the verbally abusive explosions have been things about me not wanting to have anal sex, me getting pissed off if we go out to a bar or resturant and he calls the bartender/waitress honey, sweetie, or baby (and it is not in a way that someone does it who just is that way, it is sort of flirty), if I dont want to have sex, about him smoking pot, about my friends (I have none because he finds fault in all of them. He wants me to have friends with money and connections. He has talked about them so bad that I feel like I am choosing between him or them if I defend them or want to hang with them), also about my past job that I had. I did not have many responsibilities and he did manual labor and he felt like he should be the one who deserves the job like I had. I am a nursing student and the schedule can be very demanding. He has said it is a low life job and he is right but it just sucks to hear him say it like I am a loser.
So I recently went out and did research on schools back in Ohio. I found an LPN school because all RN schools have a 2 years wait. There were no schools in VA for LPN (if I wanted to pay 20grand at some technical school). So I told him that I was going back for my edducation for 21 months so that he could no longer harass me about my job. He wants me to get another job that is more challanging even if I make less. He told me he would respect me if I was a manager at McDonalds vs. my recent job of a bank teller. So everything was good for like 2 months and he was cool with me going but them like a week before I was supposed to go he started crying and freaking out. So I said I would stay. But them we had gotten into a few other fights and he has called me a bi*ch, cun*, loser, fatass, he even told me he made out with "a big ti**y bi*ch from alabama and wished he would have fuc*ed the shit out of her". This was in response to me not wanting to do anal sex after I told him that I would. I told him I would because I was trying to work it out with us but he was making me feel like anal sex was the only way for him to be happy. He said that he has had 3 other girlfriends who have done that for him and I don’t love him because I don’t give all of me to him. But he does not turn me on I have really no desire. He does not tellme I am beautiful or anything and he is really demanding and does not make it a intimate experience. I keep telling myself that maybe I should just give in but I cant when the time comes down to it. When I went to stay with my friend after the big fight when he told me about kissing another person at the airport he was demanding that I leave saying he does not want me. When I left he starting calling and texting me every 15 minutes saying how sorry he was and how much he knows he will never find antoher like me. So like an idiot I went back, and then his story cahnged from him making out with the lady to her kissing him out of no where. He also told me he was smoking crystal a few years ago when we first moved in together when he went back down to Texas to pick up our furniture. He made the trip back from TX to OH in 2 days… That was during the heat of the battle and when I came back he said he was lying. He also said he made out with someone there too and then cahnged the story. I want to leave but I feel like there is good in him… HELP

Need help finding a picture of a pig?

My sis wants me to paint a sign for the front of her husband’s homemade outdoor bar. We remember seeing a poster or something with a fat pig, usually in a hawaiian shirt, wearing sunglasses and sipping on a margarita as he reclines in a beach chair. She’d like me to do a reproduction of that picture on her sign but we can’t locate a picture. Has anyone else any idea of where I might find this on the internet?

… I’m looking to buy furniture sets for a living room, bedrooms, office and kitchen. I already have ideas as to where to go for these items. Like the bedroom set, I’d probably go to Target. The kitchen table; Rooms to Go…IKea…maybe even the living room set. Are there any stores that offer a discount for a big purchase? Ideas on where to get a durable set of living room furniture?

Any ideas are appreciated
