Why is patio furniture so dull in color nowadays??? Everything in in a non-descript greenish/taupish/beige color. It has no vibrance or cheer. I like the design styles of the furniture, but must everything look so dull? I like brighter colors–blues, yellows, pinks, etceteras…because after a long midwestern winter, I welcome the color! It makes me feel happy and the furniture doesn’t blend in with the landscaping to the point that it gets washed out. Does anyone feel the way I do? Any suggestions?

I just moved into a completely brand new apartment complex. I have a 4th floor unit which has an over-sized balcony which is one of my favorite features, but there are always tons of cobwebs out there covering each corner and in between all of the balcony railing bars. I use a broom to sweep them and any spiders away, but they continuously keep coming back every few days. I don’t even want to put my patio furniture out there for fear of more webs! There is a lot of info out there to get rid of cobwebs once you have them, but I can’t find anything about keeping them away. I wanted to avoid the use of pesticides because I have pets. I heard using white vinegar will keep spiders away, but I wasn’t sure if that’s what causes all webs.

If it makes a difference, here are the details: I live in Florida. The balcony is constructed of wood with metal railing and has a painted wooden ceiling, but the balcony is not screened in. I’m also lakefront so there are terrible mosquitoes and this time of year you can’t get away from swarms of love bugs (Plecia nearctica) which is very aggravating as well.

Any help for any of these would be amazing, thanks!

My wheelchair has leg rests that swing. They make it difficult to get in and out of my bathroom and other doorways. I am looking for a bar that I’ve seen on wheelchairs that fits at the bottom front and would allow my feet to be straight below my knees. Does anyone know where I can buy one or what the part is called so I can shop for it? It would keep my feet from getting run over by the wheels when I have the leg rests on the chair.

This is my second day in my period. I had soft stool yesterday. But today all of a sudden I felt extremely weak, severe diarrhea (liquid), and feeling too cold. I have trouble getting out of bed to go to the bathroom. All that next to abdominal cramps, horrible headache, neck pain and back pain.

Tomorrow I have this extremely important meeting and I just HAVE to get better.

Today all I had was two bananas, two "Ginger and cinnamon" herbal tea (only second day of trying it), two apples, and two raisin cookies, later on I had some steamed rice but I was already sick. The day before I had lots of food, but the only thing new was the tea above and a tryout from the new kitchen at work "mozzarella cheese pastry" .

Today I had a lot of water more than I usually have. Around 2 litres.

I don’t know if it’s worth mentioning, but I had a menicure and pedicure yesterday. So i might have contracted a viral infection!

I have my period and I also took three 300mg Brufen tablets.

I really need to get better.

I had the chills but no fever.
I don’t think it’s H1N1. I don’t have a cough or a sore throat.
I just hope it’s a cold symptoms gone bad because of doubling with my period.

Seems its not a virus. But strangely I think 400mg of brufen x3 (recommended for my weight was 900 mg a day) in one day was too much with me especially that I had two cups cinnamon tea (very effective blood thinner).
I was surprised to find that nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, vertigo and tremors are all side effects of brufen overdose! (lithium toxicity)! Even severe depression and crying spells (I woke up crying from my nap!!)
How serious.
I’m never taking it again!

We walked in and settled in, we were just standing around the bar… When I noticed these 5 people sitting on a table. I hardy paid attention till I heard my name – 2 women (her friends) were talking and then they said – OMG its *my name*, then they high 5ed each other and told her I was there. I was just standing around the bar with friends, Then I started noticing she moved a chair closer to where I was – and made it obvious that she was looking at me – So I smiled a few times, and then it hit me – Every time she looked at me we all were busy smiling, laughing or taking group pictures for our album…. However she just didn’t stop looking…

Eventually we guys moved to another table – but I have no idea why she did that – What do u think is happening? What do I do? What’s going on here??

Which do you prefer? This would be for a dining set in cast aluminum that looks like wrought iron and would be used on a wooden deck (not a patio). I like the look of dining chairs (i.e., with legs) because I prefer a traditional style with my old house, but I’m wondering if swivel chairs would be more comfortable and practical on a deck (no legs to get caught in the cracks). Opinions?
One more thing — swivel chairs cost about twice as much as dining chairs.

Is one better than the other? Eg more durable or hard wearing?

I would say I’m losing my mind.
I’m in college. It was a shitty semester and I flunked three out of six classes.
Not out of being an idiot, but lack of homework projects.
I flunked classes the previous semester and my mother told me she wouldn’t pay for my school anymore if I failed again… Whatever.
The thing is that… I feel a little stressed. I’ve been breaking and shouting at things.
I wanted to kill myself, instead I ended up singing gibberish out loud on the floor, while throwing kicks to an orange juice and balancing a stool chair on my neck. Also, I was breaking plastic glassware with a baseball bat and I tried chopping down a tree with said baseball bat until it broke.
So… I have no money for a psychologist, which I hope might help me out a bit.
I could go to a free psychologist, but my mother would toss me out of the house, because she’s of the idea that I must "fix myself". I’ve been doing so since I was five years old and now I’m breaking plastic-ware and shouting "Stop looking at me, motherf#cker!" at the kitchen table and the walls, while trying to have a decent conversation with the family dog.
I’d kill myself, but the thought of my mother crying won’t let me.
