Do you like this part of my story and why?
Emilio lived with his parents at a small house near the seashore. Every morning, he’d wake up, have his breakfast and walk to school, feeling sleepy and tired.
For the outsider, Emilio’s family seemed so harmonious but, to tell the truth, none of them was happy.
Mrs. Falk hated her life as a housewife. She woke up every morning and started running around the house, collecting dirty clothes and unwashed dishes. After finishing her work at the kitchen, she’d walk up to the bathroom and after finishing her work at the bathroom, she’d return to the kitchen and start cooking for her husband, who’d be returning home in less than an hour.
Mr. Falk worked as a manager in a sweeties company. He usually returned home with his pockets filled up with candy bars that he ate furtively at the bathroom. And although he always smiled at strangers, he was never happy. Sometimes, he’d burst into fits of shouting at Emilio or Mrs. Falk.
Emilio usually never replied and he walked back to his room with his head bowed to the ground. As for Mrs. Falk, she wouldn’t let such a thing as shouting at her to pass.
She’d start shouting herself and eventually Mr. Falk would slap her and, like Emilio, she’d dash up to her room, crying.
Emilio on the other hand, preferred to stay in his room, reading a book or watching the birds from the window. On the outside, he really enjoyed his calm life but deeper down he was feeling alone, so alone.
Sometimes, he’d wake up in the middle of the night and walk to the window. He’d stand there for hours, watching the stars, shining far away in the sky, always having each other to talk to, always clustering up.
He eyed the sky once again and there was this lonely star at the north.
He smiled at it and wondered when would this lonely star find a friend? when would this lonely star join a cluster?
One day, he thought of asking his parents for a brother. He walked down the stairs and went up to his mother who was sitting at the kitchen stool, peeling onions with tears in her eyes.
“Mom,” Emilio said, “I was wondering of you getting me a brother.”
Mrs. Falk raised her head from the onions, wiping her nose with the sleeve of her red shirt. “What?”
“A brother,” Emilio repeated barely able to breath.
Mrs. Falk swatted the knife against the marble table and got to her feet. “I hate babies,” She screamed at him, “I barely raised you. You’d better go find a stray dog.”
Emilio nodded and ran back to his room.
After thinking of getting a dog, Emilio found it rather good. So one evening after finishing school, he headed to a small alley and sat at a garbage can, waiting for a dog to pass. And eventually, after some minutes, a shaggy, dog with brown fur and runny nose passed by. He stopped at a garbage bags and after sniffing at them, he started tearing them open.
At first, Emilio was afraid to approach him, but he reminded himself of his need to a brother or a friend and it was sufficient to force him towards the dog.
“Hey, Doggy,” Emilio said, in a girly voice, holding a piece of chocolate in his hand and shaking it at the dog, “Come on, I have chocolate for you.”
The dog parked twice.
” come on,” He said again, “ I have a sweet home for you,”
The dog parked again. He stepped a few steps backward and after parking for a third time, he dashed forward at Emilio, snatched the piece of chocolate from his hand and scurried away, parking the anthem of victory.
Emilio returned home, hopeless of finding a true friend. A strange voice in his head started telling him that he’d always be alone, and that no one loved him and that no one ever would care for him.
Where can I get free plans for building a large pond to stock fish in?
I’m considering building a rustic campsite on my land.. I have a wonderful large valley and huge hill that would help keep the pond full when it rains, plus it would provide water for the wildlife around…
Who would I contact to help me plan a pond for free, or is there a website that gives good examples that I could get basic ideas from?
Thank You Very Much .. for your time!
OK.. I left out some details.. I am on bed rock, I have a skidsteer loader and tracks…and Missouri Mud RED CLAY is plantiful in the valley.. My concerns are mostly with road run off that I do not want to contaminate my pond, and keeping the fish healthy, along with design and whatever the pond needs to stay healthy natually, or with other systems installed to keep it healthy if i need to add them.
You guys are all too good.. having a very difficult time choosing between since each has good points…I should say I am thinking of a half acre pond, not a little garden pond, my valley can support it.. but that leaves local laws, since I live upward from a natural river, if I will be able to build it and land surveys if it will hold water, since I hadn’t really though about the caves that are near me, i could have an underground area that would drain my pond…hmm.. well that said.. boillerrat I’ll check with the services you’ve mentioned..and if the pond holds water, everyone is welcome to fish, or skinny dip..but hopefully not at the same time.

What do you think about Maura Kelly's views about "fatties" on TV?
"So anyway, yes, I think I’d be grossed out if I had to watch two characters with rolls and rolls of fat kissing each other … because I’d be grossed out if I had to watch them doing anything. To be brutally honest, even in real life, I find it aesthetically displeasing to watch a very, very fat person simply walk across a room — just like I’d find it distressing if I saw a very drunk person stumbling across a bar or a heroine addict slumping in a chair."

Spelling and Grammer help and anything u would like to add :P?
El Chapulin is a very well-known restaurant in Mexico City. There were so many things that made it unique during my visit. When I’m there I feel satisfied and right at home. My favorite reason for visiting is being able to taste the foods of Mexico and being able to see its wonderful people just by being in El Chapulin. I like eating there because it’s a buffet and because I can eat anything I want; also, they have lots of variety like steak, chicken, spaghetti, a salad bar, fruits, pastries, ice cream, coffee and lots more.
When I arrived in El Chapulin the fist thing that I saw were the stone sculptures and famous paintings done outside. The restaurant is made out of mud and adobe like most houses in Mexico. Even though it is made out of mud, it looks very beautiful with the old still designs and the bright beautiful colors. Every time I go inside a server greets me and finds me a table. All the servers in the restaurant are both warm and hospitable. When I was walking to my table I was able to smell the wonderful food before I even saw them. Once I was able to see the buffet table I saw all the different kinds of food. Once I got to my table the server asked me what I would like to drink, then he handed me two plates so I could go up any time to serve myself. Once seated at my table, I saw the beautiful Aztec shield within the table and hand maid chairs that looked like thrones.
Once I decided to go up and get some food I took the long way to the buffet table. That way I could get a glance at the whole restaurant. While I was walking I saw a bar with lots of people cheering on their favorite soccer team on the flat screen TVs. I saw everyone was satisfied in the bar because everyone was getting their drinks fast. I wanted to see how many bartenders there were and to my surprise there was only one and it was a gorgeous Latin woman. She was making the drinks as fast as lightning. While I was walking I realized that this restaurant is very rummy and not crowded at all. The tables are separated and people have plenty of space between them. I also noticed that the place was very clean and it wasn’t hot since most buffets get hot with all the food out.
Once I got to the buffet table I saw there was a giant grill where I could place and order of a steak and they cook it to my liken. They also offer a variety of menu items that are cooked at the grill right in front of me like, Grilled chicken, salmon, cheeseburger, and many more grilled favorites. The buffets it self has many favorites to choose from. I never eat the same thing twice because of the large varieties. While I was eating some of the female waitresses started to put on a show for the customers. The bartender put on a Mexican country song and the waitresses started to dance mean while the bartender was doing some tricks with the liquor bottles. I thought it was really cool and very entertaining. Once I was done eating I headed to the desert table, it was the biggest table with deserts I had ever seen. Every thing looked so taste from the cakes to the cookies and brownies.
To conclude my visit to El Chapuline, I had the greatest time there. I really enjoy their beautiful and very unique artifact in side and out. The large variety of food was very delicious and the steaks were cooked to perfection. However, my favorite part of the whole restaurant was the desert table, every thing there was mouth-watering. Hopefully, next time your in Mexico City you will give El Chapuline a opportunity. I know you will not be disappointed.
Where can I find the best deals on new or used patio furniture? Big difference in waiting a month?

Stress? Ulcer? Or do I have Swine Flu?
Every other morning for the past two weeks or so, I’ve been getting very sick—but it’s only in the mornings. The symptoms are pretty weird: I’ll be completely fine all morning, but when I come downstairs to the kitchen, and I sit down to eat, I will feel intense pain in my abdominal area. For some reason, I always think it’s hunger pain, in spite of it being much sharper. When I attempt to eat, I’ll get ferociously nauseated—literally as the spoon goes in my mouth, the nausea will hit. Sometimes it will just pass, but twice I’ve ended up vomiting, once after eating two bites of unsweetened oatmeal. I’ll generally feel better after, but the abdominal pain will sometimes linger throughout the day—dully, of course. There’s no fever or diarrhea or anything, but there’s sporadic bright red blood in my stool.
Does this sound like an ulcer? I’m younger than 20 years old, and I heard that wasn’t common, but I have been under some stress recently (nothing massive, though). I don’t seriously think it’s swine flu, considering I don’t have a fever.
P.S.- I’m definitely not pregnant.
When you moved your baby…?
If any of you moved a baby’s cot to a different room or even a different position in a room, did any of you have any trouble? Currently, myself and my son are still sharing a room for the forseeable future as we are living with my parents while I study. He’s 9 months at the moment and in a cot bed which was in the centre of the room at the end of my bed, but it was taking up all the room so I had a huge clearout a few days ago and rearranged the furniture and got rid of a few bits and I now have the head of my single bed against the wall, and the head of his cot bed against the wall right next to my single bed with a little gap, so there’s much more floor space and the room seems twice as big. But he’s sooo excited to be in a new position lol, at first it was cute but now it’s wearing a bit thin! I never used to have any trouble getting him off to sleep, but since it’s changed he’s been up as soon as his bedtime feed is finished jumping about in there and not wanting to drop off, and now when he wakes for a night feed like he just has (we’re in the UK) instead of going straight back to sleep like he used to, he’s standing up jumping about squealing and peering at me over the side and poking me through the bars. There’s no other way the room can be positioned other than like this or like it was. It’s cute that he’s so excited to be next to me lol but do you think he’ll get used to it and adjust back to his previous routine, or is this the price I have to pay for a less cluttered room lol?

If you knew you were going to say something like that then don’t say it at all! your the reason why people at school can’t seem to stop judging people that they don’t even know D:

I almost got beat up at a gay club, how can this happen?
I’m not the type who just waits for someone to talk to him at a gay bar. I try to talk to guys. I’m never trying to hook, I’ve never had a one-night stand, I’m always trying to meet guys, talk, and see if there’s any chemistry.
I was at the gay club the other day. I saw a guy I thought was cute, so I went up to him, and simply asked if I could sit on his table and talk. He goes CRAZY, he yells at me "I’m not gay you f#ck!ng F@g!", he stands up from his chair abruptly, and lifts up his fist as though he were going to punch me. I just left.
I didn’t say anything sexual to him, I didn’t make any move on him, I jsut asked him if I could sit with him since he was alone on the table.
A simple No would’ve been enough. It was a gay bar! How can I expect a reaction like that from a guy at a gay bar?
Do rich conservative tend to look down upon lower middle class people, especially if they're liberal?
Here’s the situation. I am dating a guy (I’m a guy as well…we’re gay) who I always thought came from a wealthy background, but I didn’t realize just how wealthy till I visited his parents’ house this past weekend. Let me give you an idea:
10acre plot, 5bdrm/7.5bath, 12 fireplaces, a fully wood-paneled library w/ a spiral staircase, a "wet-bar", 3 staircases, multiple living rooms with furniture that belongs at Versailles, a kitchen the size of my parent’s house, 3 car-garage w/ a Porsche, etc. etc.
ANYWAYS, my parent’s are lower middle-class, they drive old crappy cars and their house, although once nice, is now falling apart. I’m a little nervous about bringing my bf there cause I’m afraid he’ll judge me, especially since my parent’s are immigrants and have accents, and they’re liberal. What do you think?
My parents are liberal. I’m conservative, and my boyfriend and his entire family are conservative.
@coonup: I’m sure about the bedroom # but the frplc and bath #s are just estimates
@ramper: lol i know very well what i’m "missing"….i’ve had sex with plenty of girls. simple fact is, it just doesn’t do it for me.
Moving – should we bring patio furniture to Eureka, CA?
My family and I are due to transfer to Eureka this summer from NC. I understand the weather is typically cool and often rainy. Should we bring our patio furniture with us (would we get any use out of it) or leave it for the person renting our house?
Cocktail reception ideas help?
We will be getting married on New Years at 11am. So it’ll be a hot summer. We dont want people sitting down stewing in the heat and have decided on a standup cocktail reception. It’ll be on the verandah and part of the pool patio. 40 guests Question is id like to set up a couple of bar tables, just a few so people can sit down , how many would i hire? I was thinking of dragging out my inlaws white cane patio furniture and making a lounge area? Is this a good idea also. We’ll be stringing up a white tarp for extra shade too.
Any links or idea’s or layout would be wonderful thankyou.
