I’m moving some wicker furniture from inside to my deck. There are some slip-covered cushions as part of the pieces, but i don’t think the fabric is very weather resistant. Can i treat the fabric somehow to handle rain, sun, etc or should i just have new cushion covers made?

Had a weird dream that at the time(of course) seemed absolutely real. The prevailing feeling was fear. I was in a grungy bar, never go to bars in real life, but that was the setting. Strangely enough,I was looking for a familiar face, don’t know why. I spotted a dark figure on the other side of the room, who all of a sudden went from vague blob to a full blown person. This person was a very creepy man; thin, dark, wearing a dark long-rider coat. As a matter of fact, the bar was like a western bar but without the trappings, just had that feeling about it. Also, the bar was in the center of the room and evaded one end of the room from the other.

Now, getting back to the man, every time I moved he moved; as though he was inspecting me. If I tried to sneak a peek at him he would catch that movement and looked directly at me, every single time straight on, even shifted his weight to look at me. It seemed he wanted to make contact of some sort. I was filled with total fear. I then found myself on his side of the room (as people often do in dreams. the next thing I knew I felt as though this person had gotten up from his chair and was moving towards me. I felt, well what can he really do, nothing. Oh no, it seemed as though he ws trying to put his arms around me with this big overcoat and not inn a good way. I did not like it and again was so filled with fear, I woke up with a start, shaking. I felt this man ws a demon of some kind, sort of a taller, mustached version of Johnny Depp, but looked like himself. Is there any record of a an entity who operates like this or looks like this? I am not talking about the shadow people or am I and if so what would this person’s intent be as far as trying to capture me? I did not stay around long enough to find out.

I used to hang those button to cabinet hardware towels, and use them. Think that will take away from "new" kitchen. What type of towels do other people use to wipe hands and where to put it?

Last night I took a shower after a long day of painting patio furniture. Some of the speckles of paint that were stuck to me ended up on the floor of the tub – the paint is black and my tub is white ceramic.

Since last night, I have scrubbed the tub (while wet & while dry) with a heavy duty scrubber, and with cleaning chemicals, but the most the paint will do is smear.

Any suggestions how to remove it?

My sister is in her 50s, she lives alone and is loved dearly by our entire family. The problem is she’s a compulsive collector. I’m not talking about Beanie Babies or celebrity memorabilia, it’s always something larger. Problem is she doesn’t stay with it long. Just two years ago it was the Civil War. She spent 00.00 on an old gun or something…then it was Lord of the Rings…0 for a prop from the film that was the size of a pack of gum! Then it was onto retro game shows…she paid 00 for a microphone from the Match Game! NOW it’s Diners! Yes, DINERS! She’s already purchased old menus, waitress uniforms, jukeboxes and those little spinny things the orders hang from. Today she told me that she’s expecting 18 counter stools from a man in Dallas! I’m not knocking her collecting, but she is now calling herself an authority on Diner memorabilia and who knows? Next week it could end up being those dreadful Hummel statues! Should I caution her of keep my mouth shut!?
