So, I will be painting my room in 2 weeks but I want more changes than that, I’d like some suggestions ! The walls will be all cream with one brown accent wall, which is the one with a window. My bedspread is simply navy blue and white. I wanted to try something new with my room, but I have no idea where to start. I have a white bookcase that can’t be painted, a HUGE (6′ ?) black barred cage for my chinchilla, a white desk with a brown top on it, a brown dresser, and a small dark wash wooden bedside cabinet thing with a white marble top. It’s basically all of my parent’s old furniture that I got stuck with, but it’s all I have. I can’t buy new furniture at all so what do I do?
Like I said, I’d like some cheap, do it yourself way to add to the beachy-ish feel to my room.

My dog slobbers a lot on the kitchen floor when we are out. We come home to lots of very watery slobber on the floor. Our current linoleum flooring is old and needs replacement. I would like something in style but it needs to withstand the slobber. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi,
I am an artist and have an idea for a large scale piece of Art that lights up! One that would look fantastic and so hip over a large couch in a chic apartment or home or as an eye-catcher in a cafe or restaurant. I am wondering where are the best places in Las Vegas to pitch the idea and see if they would want to sell/hang the piece if I made it. I can sketch it in full color and detail. Does anyone know of furniture stores that are always looking for hip and unique art/items to sell? I am hoping to get one up and then make more as they sell. I can custom make different sizes and colors. It’s a very stunning design and modern but elegant. Thanks for any suggestions.

Many people have their kitchens personalized. It’s an error trying to find a perfect model for kitchens since people do things in their own ways and like to familiarize the kitchen with their own personality. What do you think is unique in your kitchen that only you could have invented such a thing or only you could have placed something like that there?

I have a wicker rickshaw that is very dry and brittle- I read that using fabric softener will condition it- should it then be sealed- if so, what would be the best product?
Wanting to use it as a photo prop for weddings

We moving to a suburb across town. What will the new neighbors say about our choice in music? When they smell our bar-b-que? Or, our choice of porch furniture?

I bought some barstools off craigslist for a steal but they are a little too short for my bar. they are light metal frame painted black. Is there any way to add up to 5 inches and keep them stable? I know that they are not extenable legs… Any tips? Or should I go buy new ones?
The bar is part of the kitchen. It extends from the wall, so making that shorter is impossible. plus, im sure my landlord wouldn’t be too thrilled. But the wheels sound interesting hopefully not too dangerous…..I’ll head to lowes today. Please keep the idea’s coming.

My aunt has an old half of a bunk bed she had as a kid. Her husband wants to throw it out but she wants to turn it into something useful like a chair. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have a large/wide 2′ 7" wicker basket my x-bf bought me in mexico that is in a natural light color with a slight shine to it & would like to color it a rich brown-red color like my other bedroom furniture. Have no idea what will stick on this material permanently. Can I do this myself? What to do?

The bartender notices and asks the man "whats going on?"
The man replies " I got tired of carrying around a cell phone and losing it…so I had a phone inserted into my hand…..now I can call my wife, work or friends whenever I want"
The bartender replied that this was impossible.
The man asked the bartender for his phone # and dialed it on his hand, held his hand to the bartender’s ear and let him hear the dial tone.
The bartender repied that this was incredible and would have to look into having it done himself.
With that the man excused himself to the restroom. 5 minutes went by, then 10 and the bartender became worried.
The bartender went to the restroom door and knocked, with no reply. Finally the bartender throws open the door and found the man spread-eagle up against the wall with his pants down and a piece of toilette paper hanging from his a**.
The bartender asked "are you OK?"
The man replies " yes, I’m receiving a fax"

My son is starting to have a little trouble with hard stools because of a common issue from a condition he was born with. He was born with imperforate anus that has since then been corrected and the most common issue with growing kids with the condition start to exerience constipation. He has regular bowel movements, but has trouble passing them because they’re hard. My doctor recommended Miralax, but after reading some online reviews about it being used in children I don’t want to give it to him. There were some bad horror stories. Anyone know of over the counter stool softeners for kids? I don’t want him to be cleaned out because that isn’t the problem and home remedies and diet doesn’t help. Any help is appreciated.
