Best deal and furniture rental companies should not be said in the same sentence. Your best bet would be to live with either hand-me-down or discount purchases until you can afford better. You will save money by not paying finance charges, interest and the cost of paying out the rental fees every week. Think of how much money you could put away over time if you’re putting the whole amount away that you would have been paying in interest and finance charges. Bonus is that you own the furniture outright and you haven’t spent enough to purchase the entire living room furniture a few times by the time you realize how much you’ve spent.
My tip to you is to go to a thrift store or something similar and buy the pieces you need. I can’t stand the idea of throwing money away each month when you can spend a lot less and own what you buy. You don’t have to get all of it at the same time; buy only what you really like. If need be, get a slip cover for the couch. Buy new mattresses and put them on the floor to begin with. Houses are generally furnished in one day; make this a fun thing to do.
