Q1. ans. The one you found seems ok for the space you mentioned but see to it that it does not take too much space as you have mentioned it is a small area. GOOD LUCK with it !!!!!!!!
Q2 ans. tiles sizes and color does matter. 6 inches one seems fine to give the space look bigger choose white or any light color to give the area look bigger effect and you can also install mirror on one wall to give it a bigger looking place.
q1… well a more stylish one would be the bar height.
q2… 4" tiles are great. but you could go with the 6′ one.
=)
any height of bar wil make the kichen look bigger as long as it has more storage and gives more open space.. dont go for huge looking bar as it will make the kitchen smaller…go for a bar that is open and has wheels so that it can be moved when needed
depending on the size of the bathroom 4 inch and 6 inch are both good.. however, depending on the color scheme and lay out of things, you will have to decide it yourself.. for muted blue i wud suggest you go for 4 inch tiles and go for lighter shade of blue instead of a bright one..
a full height mirror in a corner of a room definately will make it seem larger. lighter colours will also create a feeling of more light and thus more space. generally make the most use of natural light.
Creating ‘floating’ elements gives the sense that the room extends beyond the walls – have kitchen cabinets with an overhang at the bottom and a gap at the top to make it look like the room extends – you could put strip lights here too, uplighting the ceiling. This will also make the room feel taller.
if you have low ceilings avoid general use of spot lights everywhere – these bring the ceiling down. instead use uplighters or floor lamps.
if you want blue for your bathroom, if it is small i would go for the lightest blue, or white with blue accents. dark blue would make the room feel small.
