How do I get my dog to stop chewing on wood furniture and moldings?
My golden retriever is 2 years old and she still chews on wood such as my kitchen table, side tables, and my moldings in my kitchen. I give her plenty of bones to chew on, but she still chews on the wood. How can i get her to stop?

Try bitter apple spray. Keep her crated when you can’t watch her and on leash when she’s out so you can correct her immediately. Goldens are smart she may not be getting enough mental stimulation. I only feed my dogs from bowls at night 2/3s of their food I give during training and in toys that exercise their brain like the buster cube, tricky treats ball and our new favorite is the tornado. the tornado is not a chew toy and she can’t be left alone with it but it’s great for her brain.

spray the wood with pepper spray.
You can try using repellents which you can get from pet stores.
Question: Have you taken your dogs out on walks and exercises?? Your dog is showing classic signs of nervous energy. His breed was meant to be active outside and running. Get a leash and start walking. If you have a treadmill, like I do, train the dog to walk on the trendmill. Use treats to get the dog to start out and use a leash to keep him on the walkway. Start playing fetch games. Your dog is bored man!! Good Luck. LJK.
