Lemon Juice.
Spray the furniture with it
The patio with it.
and if that fails, the dog with it.
I assume its a male dog. They mark their territory on everything and it is almost impossible to stop them. You might try mixing water in a spray bottle with something unpleasant, like garllic powder, onion powder etc and spray the furniture legs (not the dog). Even some hot sauce mixed with the water. Be sure its doesn’t harm the dog, he is only doing what dogs do. Good luck.
Have you tried using ammonia and water? Try spraying that on the furniture just before you let the dog out and see if that helps, it did with my dogs!
Try mouse traps, but dont bait them. They worked 4 my do from stop digging. They wont hurt the dog, they’re 2 slow. but it will just scare him. trust me, they really do work.
Keep an eye on him(like another answer I assume the dog is male) and when he gets near the furniture make a noise with a Cesar Milan touching of the neck. This is not a hit or beat action. Watch an episode of emmy nominated "The Dog Whisperer"(Discovery) or "It’s The Dog Or Me"(BBCamerica)Theres always keeping him away from the furniture. Watching him closely and when he goes for the furniture you have to be there. If you don’t he’s going to go for the furniture.
