I believe you can buy a resin spray (in a can, like spray paint) and put it over the chairs. Otherwise you will have to take them out to the garage or cover them with plasic or sheet or something! that won't let the sun damage them. I don't know if they make clear, they should, but I do know they make white and some other color.
Good luck!

Try coating with armorall a spray polish used for auto dash boards. protects against uv rays which dry out plastics. Can be picked up at most auto parts stores .

Armour All says it has UV sunlight filters, so if you re-new it regularly, you may be able to slow down the deterioration from sun rays.

Ditto some of the paint or spray on wood preservatives. If you find a clear one that will dry w/ a film on your furniture you may be able to add some sunlight protection.

Next best thing is those vinyl zippered and velcro covers.
