I have a neighbor that wants me to refinish her patio furniture. I know how to do it. How much do I charge?

$20 an hour.
if shes hot and you like her you do it for free if she is just a neighbor charge time and materials only you can decide what your time is worth
Figure up the amount of time it will take, then apply the amount per hour you’re willing to work for. $200 doesn’t sound like too much to me, but that’s just me.
only you can answer that. personally, my elderly neibhor would get at least 50% break in labor.
You already have quotes from professionals and I assume you aren’t a master furniture restorer. You can reasonably assume this project won’t take very long from start to finish so you can charge her a rate of your choice since she already has the materials needed for the project. Keep in mind that this elderly neighbor probably lives on a fixed income. You might want to consider charging a decent amount so as not to break her bank.
