In this scene I have one of my angels, go to a bar with her friend. Sorry if it makes no sense but that’s just my story. Anyways I didn’t write it yet but later on she gets so drunk that since her ability is to time travel she see’s the future and yells it out in a prophecy.
How do you rate my third person writing? Would you prefer first?
Alice Hope, was not a drinker. She wasn’t one of those careless teenagers who would go off into town every night and get drunk off her ass.
No, drinking was wrong and that was her motto. Though, sometimes motto’s change, sometimes there broken.
Alice Hope dressed in a silver dress, followed her over confident friend Stacy to the local pub.
Stacy was a tall, ginger girl. She did what she wanted, she broke rules even when it wasn’t needed, she violated laws far too many times to count, and her permanent nickname was, “ dare devil.”
Alice, and Stacy were already braking one rule as it is, the simple curfew rule in the academy. No one leaves at midnight.
Unfortunately the academy was never quite tight on protection. The main gate had been unlocked, but even if it wasn’t the two girls could just fly away.
“ Stace this isn’t right, what if we get caught? Do you know how angry Mother Ariel will be? She’ll give us that sinning speech again.” Alice whispered, her eyes were scanning the quite streets of heaven. It was midnight, most commoners who had sense would be asleep at home instead of out on the streets.
“ Relax Ally no one’s gonna report us. Take a chill pill think ‘bout it this way, we have an exam tomorrow, drinking will help us feel lighter.” Stacey was smiling a mischievous smile as she held up the skirts of her golden dress.
“ Yeah, but even Penelope said no! She drinks all the time if she said no then it’s not the day to drink.” Alice was trying her hardest to persuade Stacey that what she was trying to achieve wasn’t right.” Besides drinking is a sin.” she added a moment later.
Stacey smirked,” Ally your like my mother, always telling me about sins. God is an easy fellow he forgives people faster than Jesus himself. Come on think about it maybe God wants us to have some fun tonight? You know God works in mysterious ways.”
Alice didn’t understand a word Stacey told her. It all sounded like rubbish to her. Drinking was not in her opinion the right thing to do on the day before the exam in Exorcism.
They shuffled their way down the silent streets of Heaven.
“ There it is.” Stacey whispered. They stood in front on a small run down bar. Alice read the sign to herself, “ Angel’s Haven.” In her opinion that was the wrong name for a bar. It wasn’t a Haven at all. More like a place to intoxicate yourself.
Stacey was already at the door ready to open it,” Well come on Alice we don’t have forever,” she said, hands on her hips. Alice collected herself and followed Stacy inside into the tequila smelling bar. The inside was small, there was of course a bar tender behind a wooden bar, a few tables set up, a small television in the corner flickering some basketball game, and of course a few middle aged men who sat in the way back, probably already drunk.
Alice stood wavering by the door. Her plan was simple really, to not drink at all, and once Stacey was drunk to sneak back to the academy. A simple, and yet clean plan in her opinion.
“ Come on Ally. Don’t you wanna have some fun tonight?” Stacey was already settling herself down into a chair in front of the bar tenders table. A flicker of doubt passed Alice’s face, she hesitated then carefully made her way to sit down next to Stacey.
“ I’m going to have some Terra Lay.” Stacey said, directing her words to the bar tender.
“ Alice what do you want?” Stacey turned around to ask her.
“ I just want some water please.” Alice mumbled. The bar tender snorted.
“ This is a bar girl, not a tea party. May I suggest the Camay, it’s the most popular with our customers it’ll have you feeling like your in the seventh heaven, and hey that’s a pretty strong feeling since we’re already in heaven.” The bartender chuckled as he said this.
Before Alice could reject his offer, Stacey spoke up,” Yes she’d love to try it. Give her the whole bottle if you must.”
Alice’s eyes widened, “ Stacey. I don’t even want any! I don’t even need a whole bottle. It’s not good for me, or us!”
“ Chillax.” was all Stacey replied back.
The bartender arrived back with two cups. One was the color scarlet, the other was clear. Alice gulped, the cups were bigger then she’d expected.
The bartender set the red scarlet cup in front of Stacey. She didn’t wait for him to leave, she immediately grabbed the cup, titled her head back, and with her eyes closed as she gulped the vile down.
The bartender whistled, “ That girl’s got game.” he mumbled in awe.
He set the clear cup right in front of Alice, who eyed it as though it were poison.
“ Don’t worry it ain’t poisoned.” the bartender smirked, and walked off to th
“ Don’t worry it ain’t poisoned.” the bartender smirked, and walked off to the back of the bar.
In less than a minute, Stacey had finished her first cup, and was demanding for more. Alice on the other hand hadn’t taken a sip from hers, much less touched it.
Stacey realized this and between drunken hiccups she blurted out, “ Alice drink it! You’re going to feel so good when you do. If you don’t… then I’m gonna… tell Logan Snow your little love for him.” Alice seemed to forget the fact that Stacey was drunk, and also that chances were that she probably wouldn’t remember this little threat.
