my ccat just wont stop pleassseee help!
my cat is about 3 and weve tried everything to stop her from jumping on our kitchen table and scratching furniture.. weve bought " sticky paws" which is double sided tape that her paws stick gently to when she scratches the couch and she learned quickly not to do it. the table on the other hand is a whole other story. for soooo long weve been tapping her in the back end and spraying her with the squirt gun yelling and everything nothing helps! the squirt gun will get her off but she will jump back up in about 5 – 10 min if not sooner. after shes squirted for a while she considers it a bath and will basically laugh at me when i tell her to get down. i am pregnant and cant get up as often as i used to and its almost like she knows i wont get up and force her off the table so the more she does it.. so does anyone have any suggestions before this cat drives me crazy?>>>

try putting pepper in the water in the squirt bottle.
get her a scratching post and train her to only scratch that.
umm.. when my cats r bad i hit them on the top of the head with 2 fingers but not super hard just lik kindda lightly and say Bad or NO
There’s a product out that has compressed air in it and a sensor. When the cat jumps up on the counter or table, it hisses air at them and scares them off. You don’t have to move a muscle, or even be in the house.
They have this thing called a scat. It is a motion detector and it sprays them with air when they set it off. I used them to keep the cat away from the fish tank and now they don’t go near it.

Sounds like she is pretty strong willed. She may need more time to learn, but it sounds like you need a quick fix. I looked online a bit and I found some good tips to stop your cat from jumping on the table (some of which I’d never even heard of before). Buy a package of small/medium sized balloons. Blow some up, and tape the knotted end to the area you want the cat to avoid. When the claws hit the balloon, it pops, scaring the cat away. BE SURE to pickk up all debris from the popped balloon – very dangerous for cats to ingest! As you are pegnant, may I suggest you purchase a "picker-upper" at your drugstore or medical supply store – these are usually used after back surgery, but will also be handy for y ou to pick up even tiny tingss from the ground – trust me – I was pregnant with triplets, and couldn’t see my feet, much less touch them. Usually the balloon tretment works after a few weeks. Good luck!

get her a scratching post or get her declawed.
i used to have the same problem!!! I don’t know if this will work but your can try!
When ever she jumps on the table stomp your feet, clap or snap if she doesn’t jump off spray her with water, a stream between a mist and stream!!! If the water doesn’t work there are some other options! I can’t remember all of them but you can spank her; I don’t like doing this one as much but it can work!!!

a friend of mine puts s small amount of vinegar in a spray bottle with water. it doesn’t hurt them, just pisses them off a lil bit.
