my ex girlfriend took our furniture when we broke up with out me knowing…i came home to nothing?
we shared a bank account i added her to my acct and she added me to her credit card where we bought furniture for our apt and various items in the house and paid bills on…not to my knowledge she closed my account the bank re-opened it..canceled the credit card which is fine…i paid more than the monthly minimum for the credit card…is it legally her property to take if i was paying more than she did to the balance due each month and no late payments….she state since the credit card was technically her account and she added me I HAVE NO RIGHTS to the furniture…she just passed the ga bar and told me to get a lawyer and hung up the phone when i called her
i have proof that i made all payments…i have proof she only deposited 0.00 into the account only. emails, texts, and voicemail

if you can PROVE that you made the payments then you’ll have a foot in the door, but then, with having the joint acocunt, i think your screwed.
Unfortunately, she is correct. You cannot really prove you paid for the furniture unless you paid her by check, which is not really proof because both your names are on it. Make certain that you cancel any direct deposits into the account and never have a joint account with anyone again.
