I know there are some people who have it with diarrhea, and other have constipation. From what I have read, there are cases where it is so chronic, people can't fly or even leave their house. Explosive diarrhea....soiling their clothes...it's embarrassing. Maybe he needs to be on medication like Zelnorm that can be prescribed by a doctor. Or, he can try sitting on his own furniture or sheets or plastic bags when he is having an IBS attack.
