one gallon per room should be enough.
I assume you don’t want white, since that’s probably what it is now. I would use something like "whispering peach" by Behr in the living room & kitchen, "tropical breeze"for the bathroom, "glazed pecan" and "chenille" for the bedrooms. All of these colors were chosen from Behr’s color coordinator so they’ll definitely match and they’re all light & bright.

Probably about 4 gallons-check into pearl or such on sheen-it looks flat but can be cleaned easier. Don’t know your colors but HGTV.com has a great site you can refer to for that and ideas. Think about an accent wall or two-you might really like that. Behind your bed, main wall of l/r etc. Also a fun brighter color in kitchen-but in the same family as accents or main-
