internal bleeding. get her to an EMERGENCY vet clinic NOW!
just like women have periods so do cats! unless it has been neutered then this is not possible! but if she is neutered then i would take her to the vet!
she has worms.you need to take her to the vet and get her worm pills.once she has those she will poop alot and it will be runny so dont worry she getting worms out of her system.
Take the cat to the vet now.
Perhaps it is her menstrual flow? I know female dogs have periods, so maybe cats do also?
Piles? Maybe it hasn’t been given enough fibre.
Does it get constipated? It could possibly be piles!
Hey dahlin, do you live in the wilderness? Take your cat to the vet. If you don’t have cash, plastic works just as well. But rectal bleeding is serious.
Maybe its not from her bum and she is in season? Probably x
Could be a LOT of things. My only suggestion is the vet.
In the meantime, if there isn’t an emergency vet in your area, make sure you sterilize everything that your other cats may come in contact with – Bleach!!!!
This cat could have a disease the others could catch.
But as said before – I’d be looking for an on call/after hours vet.
Go to the Vet.. there is nothing you can do, but go.. !!
I agree, internal bleeding a possibility (when animals are hit by car or may suffer internal bleeding, vets sometimes wait to see if there’s any blood loss coming from any of the orifices).
How is her stool? Normal, constricted looking? Runny?
May also be hookworms or a sharp obstruction in bowel/rectal areas.
Emerg. if persists without any let-up to.
I second the idea of taking your cat to an emergency vet asap if your vet is out of the office. She could be hemorhaging, and I don’t want her to lose too much blood which can be very dangerous and fatal. Please do take her to a vet immediately! Hoping that she feels better in a jiffy.
dont feel bad she is just on her period is it was a boy then i would say take him to the vet butshe is fine
Take your cat to a vet
just take her to the vet. it might be something as simple as a period but it could be something worse.
Might be Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Could
also be cancer. Either way change her diet to
Lamb baby food. Very easy to digest.
Hope for the best at the vets.
Like everyone else said, take her to the vet right away.
Was she spayed? If not, she could be having her ‘period.’
Awwwe, your little kitty is growing up! Well, I hope that’s the case.
But yeah, take her to the vet immediately to see what’s happening!
Dogs get menstraul periods, but cats do not. This isn’t normal. Check on her during the night, and make sure she gets to the vet tomorrow for sure.
