Republicans, who do you side with? Rand Paul or Mike Steel?
Michael Steel chair of the GOP is criticizing Paul for his views that the government shouldn’t interferer if a business decides to serve only a certain type of customer and bar others, even if its based on race. What is your opinions on this?
And who do you think is right?

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. No shoes no shirt no service. If I start a business I wont need a reason to choose who I service.I live in America. How I feel is none of any-ones business.
They side with the White Guy.
Rand Paul.
Michael Steele is a RINO and needs to step down.
Rand Paul
I believe in FREEDOM TO CHIOOSE
Paul. Steel is a good man but a product of too much political insider
Smart people side with Rand Paul.
Republicans – They will likely side with Mike Steel.
Rand Paul will become only a sad footnote in political history with his views.
The GOP will be forever tagged as the racist party if they give Rand any support.
How would the posters on this question react when they are denied employment because they are WASPs?
Could happen!!!
Rand Paul. Government has no more right to say a business can’t deny someone service as they do to say there is no smoking allowed, but as a consumer your able to vote with your feet.
If he really believes that, he might be in the minority on that one.
I agree with ladies man.
CONS are "pro choice" now because its about banning blacks from certain places.
I like how CONS don’t even try anymore to hide their racism and bigotry.
Haha… hahahahah
when i go to a club in south beach in flip flops and tank top, they don’t let me in, to them i am not the type of customer they want in the club.
I also seen signs in store windows which said, no shirt no service, are they discriminating if its a black man w/ no shirt?
as long as it is not because race or religion, it should be up to to business what kind of customers they serve.
This is a very blurred line and it should be on a case by case basis. Both Steel and Paul can be right and wrong at the same time.
Yes,
I side with Sarah Palin, always.
*cough*
I side with Steel AND IF REPUBLICANS WANT TO WIN THEY BETTER CRUSH THE TEA BAGGERS AND STAND UP.
Based on the question, as an American, I have to agree with Steel the law say so. A brief story: Years ago I worked with a company which was opening Texas to small package delivery. One of the fellow I worked with related this story. " I entered a diner in Dallas with a black driver, we placed our order, the driver’s order was delivered. When I asked where my order was the waitress said, "The law says I gotta serve him, it doesn’t say I gotta serve you". The point is everyone knows you can’t discriminate on race, but they can discriminate for any other reason they want to.
