Roommate has a party next morning my scooter is knocked over.?
Last night my roommate had about 6 of his friends over drinking under age and what not. On all MY furniture, using all my kitchen stuff, and my hookah. I woke up and my house was TRASHED. About 3 bags of garbage on the floor, two or three empty boxes of beer, food all over the kitchen, my dining room table moved to the living room with beer cans piled up on it. chairs knocked over, two guys sleeping on my couch. Then I go outside to find my scooter (parked in front of the house) was knocked over and had a good amount of damage. It’s only THREE months old! I’m sooooo pissed! I filed a police report, but they said there’s pretty much nothing else that can be done. It had to be one of the 6 people over since there was a beer can near the scooter and everything! There has to be SOMETHING I can do! Help!
I can’t kick him out, he’s on the lease. I am moving out in 12 days though. I just wish I could do something about my brand new scooter that is not damaged

You have a room mate and he had a party and you had your personal property damaged this leaves your roommate responsible for the damage and repairs of your property.
By law, your roomate invited his friends over and supplied or allowed drinking , the party ended and your property was damaged you can sue your roomate for the damage
Id kick my roomate out and slap him rite across the face!!!!!!!
You sound boring Jen – maybe you should go to the fridge and grab a beer and drink it.
Sounds plausible that one of them trashed your bike but you don’t know who and even if you did, you have no solid proof.
The one thing you can do – ask your friend about all the damage, see if he’s willing to tell you who did it.
If ur roommate doesn’t care, kick him out. Live and learn. You’re not alone, many people been victims of stupid acts in their lives.
It is time to get a different roommate. Since you live in the same apartment, you are as responsible for the party as your room ate is and the police will have a difficult time prosecuting anyone for the damages
Sure is kick out your room mate . Change the locks after .
