Seriously guys, what is up with my ex? Sorry this is so long but, I'm desperate for answers!?
I was in a relationship with a man for 7 yrs. & although, we had our ups & downs just like anyone else, we had a loving affectionate relationship. I had plans to permanently move into his home which I had basically been living in since he had bought the place 3 yrs. ago, as soon as my daughter graduated this past mth. I spent a lot of money along with him fixing this place up & we were planning on marrying soon. My ex had recently spoke to all his friends about us setting the date to marry & as far as I knew things were looking good for our future. About a month ago, my ex stopped into a bar with a friend to have a drink (he usually never goes to bars) & met this girl. This girl has led the hard life & is separated from her husband & has a teenage son. She does not work & lives on disability. As the story goes, he breaks up with me & hooks up with this girl. Although she has not moved in with him yet she is constantly at his place hanging out all day waiting for him to get out of work & definitely likes to party. His family & friends have told me they are totally disgusted with what he did to me & what he is doing with her. His family feels this girl is just using him as someone to take care of her. What in Gods name would possess a man who had a bright future ahead of him & me who loved him with all my heart to ditch all that for this bimbo? He has basically kept this relationship a secret from his friends until recently when things started to come to light & never told this girl anything about me which apparently is not bothering her because she is still there with him. His family says she shows no interest in making his place her home so to speak, she is just there like a piece of furniture. How can he live with himself after what he has done to me & can he be that blind to see what is going on here? His family keeps in constant contact with me because they feel this relationship will not last & are hoping he will come to his senses & they hope we will get back together but, they do not realize how hurt & devastated I am over all this. If any one has any insight as to why he would choose to throw everything away for someone like that please, enlighten me. Does he not see this girl for what she is when everyone else does? I also, have a hard time dealing with the fact that he could stop loving me after all those yrs. just like that & then tell her he loves her in such a short time. I feel like they destroyed my life & stole my future & I’m not sure how to handle all these emotions I am feeling. At this moment I’m feeling really angry & want to make him pay for what he has done to me but, then there is a part of me that is sad for feeling that way about someone I still love very much. Please, help!

I am truly saddened by your story,this is horrible! The only thing i can say is,it must of been in her personality somewhere. he did it because thats just in his character somewhere. Im not gonna give you the whole "its probably better this way" or "better you found out now rather than later" speech. It hurts either way.my husband cheated on me 5 months ago (4 months after we were married) and it hurt like hell.we still fight about it up intill this week,when we finnaly worked through it and put it behind us.not to mention the world is full of homewreckers who dont care if their breaking up a marriage relationship or whatever. its whats in their best interest(which sounds like her in this case,someone to take care of her) I honestly would just get the attitude(now matter how hard) that it doesnt bother you anymore. youve worked through it.your fine now and ready to move on and its not a bother. It will keep your dignity(even if your hurting inside) and might make him wake up and snap out of it. Right now he probably knows your sulking over it,and waiting on his every whim for him to come back to you. So why should he make a move? Hes comfortable having her on hand,and you as a backup plan. Hes knows if it doesnt work out with her or he gets bored or just feels like changing his women like he changes his underwear,that your going to be right there willing. Dont give him or her the satisfaction. Once he realizes your starting to move on,if he cares abut you at all,he will panic and either make a move or try to win you back. Thats when you get the upper hand. the ball will be in your court and it will be you calling the shots. If he doesnt even bother,than i really would move on as he has no plans of coming back to you,and someone like that doesnt deserve to steal anymore years from you than he already has. you don’t have to make him pay even though you want to.just walk away from him and do not take him back when he comes crawling..that will be payment enough, right now he living the high life..party and nightly well you know..she mostly likely has been around the block a few times and knows her way around a mans..you know..so she has him snowed for now but he will wake up and miss the water now that the well has gone dry..
