What CLASSY restaurants do you recommend for dinner?
& then what bars/clubs do you recommend? - somewhere nice, large bar, dance floor..not like space enough for 30 people & a few bar chairs.
Lost 1 - I’m moving to a suburb or Phoenix & my mother is coming to visit the city soon. She said she wanted to see "the best of the best in the city" & yeah, she’s pretty snobby. However, considering you never know the story behind the question, maybe you shouldn’t be such a prick.
& you can’t tell me you’ve never wanted to go to a classy restaurant or club. It’s also not snobby to want to. They don’t build things that nice just for us to stare at it.

The rear stretcher connected to the rear legs, has broke. The break is near one of the rear legs, while a piece of the stretcher remains connected to the leg. It can easily be glued back together, but, I want the stretcher to be strong again. Strong enough to hold up against someone who rests their foot on top of the stretcher. Ok..so I’ve already put my deposit down for my venue for my November wedding. I cant get a refund so I’m stuck in the contract which I guess is ok but for some reason I’m not feeling so excited about it anymore. Here’s the thing, I’m renting a beach house for a November wedding. Why?..you may ask.. so that my out of town family has a place to stay, and so we can just do the whole wedding/reception in one place which saves money as well.
Looking at the pictures, you’ll notice it’s on the bay which I picked on purpose for the ceremony. I imagined getting married on the dock during sunset which I understand it’s going to be a little chilly so I’ll make it short & sweet 
Inside, on the second floor is a game room/small bar which I intend to use for the adult beverages and as a place for people to hang out, and on the third floor where the kitchen is, is where the food will be (obviously) and I was thinking about moving the furniture to the side and making it a dance floor when people are done eating. I also enjoy the numerous balcony’s for a romantic evening reception.
My problem is I don’t know how to decorate it to make it look more like a wedding and less like a beach house. I’m trying my best to try to steer it away from looking beachy b/c it’s not a "beach wedding". I bought those light up lanterns that are really trendy right now and was thinking about hanging them on the balconys..but what else can I do? Any ideas for the deck by the water? I’m thinking of getting an arch but should I try to hang something to try to hide the pool in the back? Any ideas of what to do inside? I know I’m asking alot but I need as much help as I can get.

I was in a relationship with a man for 7 yrs. & although, we had our ups & downs just like anyone else, we had a loving affectionate relationship. I had plans to permanently move into his home which I had basically been living in since he had bought the place 3 yrs. ago, as soon as my daughter graduated this past mth. I spent a lot of money along with him fixing this place up & we were planning on marrying soon. My ex had recently spoke to all his friends about us setting the date to marry & as far as I knew things were looking good for our future. About a month ago, my ex stopped into a bar with a friend to have a drink (he usually never goes to bars) & met this girl. This girl has led the hard life & is separated from her husband & has a teenage son. She does not work & lives on disability. As the story goes, he breaks up with me & hooks up with this girl. Although she has not moved in with him yet she is constantly at his place hanging out all day waiting for him to get out of work & definitely likes to party. His family & friends have told me they are totally disgusted with what he did to me & what he is doing with her. His family feels this girl is just using him as someone to take care of her. What in Gods name would possess a man who had a bright future ahead of him & me who loved him with all my heart to ditch all that for this bimbo? He has basically kept this relationship a secret from his friends until recently when things started to come to light & never told this girl anything about me which apparently is not bothering her because she is still there with him. His family says she shows no interest in making his place her home so to speak, she is just there like a piece of furniture. How can he live with himself after what he has done to me & can he be that blind to see what is going on here? His family keeps in constant contact with me because they feel this relationship will not last & are hoping he will come to his senses & they hope we will get back together but, they do not realize how hurt & devastated I am over all this. If any one has any insight as to why he would choose to throw everything away for someone like that please, enlighten me. Does he not see this girl for what she is when everyone else does? I also, have a hard time dealing with the fact that he could stop loving me after all those yrs. just like that & then tell her he loves her in such a short time. I feel like they destroyed my life & stole my future & I’m not sure how to handle all these emotions I am feeling. At this moment I’m feeling really angry & want to make him pay for what he has done to me but, then there is a part of me that is sad for feeling that way about someone I still love very much. Please, help!
This is a long and strange story, but please read it all.
My girlfriend was an exotic dancer, and one night while at work met a man. This man fell madly in love with her, as most men do, (she’s quite beautiful) and started showering her with attention, and gifts. He bought her all kinds of things, because as he said he wanted to spoil her, and he said he wanted to show her what love really was. When we had to move and could not find an apartment, he bought a house and let us live in it. The only thing he wanted as payment he said was a hug & kiss from her. He bought furniture for the house, beds, bar stools, dressers and a kitchen table and chairs. One night he decided to let himself into the house, he was the owner and had a key, so he figured he had the right to just go in whenever he pleased. So he waited until we were both at work and let himself in. He went through our personal belongings! So we decided we had had enough of his craziness and decided to leave the area completely. He told my girlfriend that she could take the bed he bought her, but no other furniture. We took everything else he bought her, as he had said he bought these things for her because she either a) needed the items, or b) he loved her and wanted to buy her anything he could. They were gifts. Ok, now fast forward 3 months later. We are happily settled in our new home, looking for work. When one day we find out that there are THEFT charges against us both! Now to make matters even worse, because we moved out of the state, and the police couldn’t find us to serve us paperwork, there are now warrants issued for both of us. What on earth do I do? I didn’t steal anything from this man, we only took what he said we could, the BED and all of his "gifts" to my girlfriend.
We are being charged separately, and have both gotten a public defender. Her lawyer said he thinks that the charges are crap, that it sounds like a scorned lover trying to get revenge. My lawyer hasn’t spoken to me. SO what can I do to prevent myself from going to jail? How can I prove that I didn’t take anything from this guy if my lawyer won’t even talk to me untill the day I go to court? My girlfriend has a spotless record, I on the other hand…well let’s just say I’ve been in my fair share of trouble. I feel like I’m going to go to jail for something that I didn’t do…all because this man is upset that this lady would rather be with me than him. Someone help me please.

Over the years, I’ve heard hundreds (if not thousands) of people state they like Burger King hamburgs but don’t like their fries. They further state their desire for Burger King hamburgs with McDonalds fries. However, your average person is not going to travel to both restaurants and wait for each item as the other gets cold.
This is where my ingenious idea comes to play. I will reconstruct my kitchen room & dining room into restaurant fully equipped with tables, stools & chairs. I’m going to hire 2 teenagers that will travel to McDonalds for fries & Burger King for Burgers every half hour. This brings the 2 products to the customer – nicely, quickly & hot!!!!
What I need at this point is information where to buy the large McDonald and Burger King signs they have outside their restaurants to put outside my house. Where do I get them?
I like the barnwood & chipped paint look but also like 50s Chrome, Red , Aqua, & Green & vintage stuff. And, I want to incorporate modern things in the room too…. Is this possible? We are opening our kitchen (currently done retro), our living room (rustic/Mexico) and adding a dining room. I really wanted to do barnwood & tin on the walls, but not sure how it will mix with the retro kitchen etc. What flooring can go with all these looks???
Now there’s lots of theorys why Virtual Magic Kingdom aka VMK shut down, (I had an account, snowflakeblue) and I’ve heard all kinds of stories saying ‘Parents complained their kids spent too many hours on it and didn’t get excerise’ and ‘Kids found their way around limited chat like instead of three tree and were dating online’ and all kinds of other tales. But there is only one that I have proof that the event did happen — the kids made up a new language and were dating. I say people saying ‘I glove you’ which was meant to be understood as ‘I love you’ and Disney did not know this until they found out people were asking people if they were taken. They post on their site that this kind of behavior would not be tolerated and if a moderator saw this, they would be banned. But kids still continued to do it and you know them, their smart. So they came up with yet MORE ways to bend the rules. Once I encountered a Street Fight at Mainstreet. They were saying stuff like, ‘You bench!’ (replace the e with i and removed the n) and, ‘You sock!’ (put a u in the o’s place). It was really bad. And they were fighting over the stupidest thing — a girl. Then kids started making beds in their houses with crates, mats, and seats and two people (boy and girl) would sit on the chairs and say all kinds of things. Next was the bars, or "restraunts" as we called them. People would go up to the bar, or waitor, and say ‘Can I have a bear, please.’ bear meant to be understood as beer. It was unbeleiveable. Maybe parents & Disney found out and that’s why they closed, but another reason was because VMK was part of Disney’s 50 Years Celebration and was only meant to last 18 months, but it gained popularity and lasted an extra 18 months, and was shut down but there’s still SO more stories. So I want to know the truth, if you know of course — what really did happen to VMK?
i am looking at putting rustic cedar posts in my front porch. i have looked all around and have found no stores that sell what i am looking for. i was wondering if anyone had the same thing done in their house and how much it had cost you.

My german shepherd Zoey is 7 months and my pomranian Khloe is 6 months. They both are completely potty trained so I hate to leave them in kennels when I go to work. So I have been leaving them locked in our kitchen which is a pretty big kitchen, they keep tearing stuff. I have took away everything they could tear up but now they are starting to chew on my bar stools and the cabinets. What should I do ?

I am only gone for 5 hours at the longest,
First off they have been together since Khloe was 8 weeks and Zoey 12 weeks. They seem like they are from the same litter. They love each other more than me, My german shepherd would never ever hurt my pom they are sisters, and Zoey understands that she is way larger. Second off there is nothing in the kitchen that could hurt them I put everything up. its just them chewing on wood, Like the bottoms of cabinets and my wooden stools.
And energy wise, I have a fenced in yard we play out side for a good hour and half before I go to work. and plenty more when I get home.
Thanks B!nd! for your advice. I would love to leave them in the yard but my little pom can climb the fence she did it one day when I went to check the mail so I am afraid if I left her in the yard she would try to come find me. But thanks for your other advice.
Thank you so much snow queen. you have great ideas, and I like that you don’t like kennels I don’t either. I hate for my pups who are potty trained to have to be in a kennel rather than being with each other. I am going to try your ideas and see how it goes. I did kennel them until they got potty trained but I hated it the whole time.
fyi. I have left them both by their self, with out each other. I have taken Khloe somewhere and left Zoey and nothing would be messed up and I have left Khloe by herself and taken Zoey and nothing is messed up. Its just when they are left together that they chew and tear stuff up.
