Can you paint resin outdoor furniture?

My white patio chairs are dirty looking, and I’ve tried so many things to clean them to no avail. Any suggestions?

How do you get rid of cats, without hurting them?

They do their business on my porch, they burrow in my garden, they stalk my bird’s nest, they sleep on my patio furniture. I’ve tried mothballs and cayenne pepper, to no avail.

Banana peels fact or fiction?

Okay, im at a major crossroad in my existance. This answer could prove futile to the realm in which i currently reside.

I watch tv, so I know how banana peels are supposed to work.

Ive put peels on the roads, no cars ever slip, they just crush my peels.
Ive put peels on the carpet, no avail,(Mom was super pissed)
ive put peels in the shower.
Ive put peels on the kitchen bar stools
ive put peels on the toilet

I seem to just keep getting in trouble and im grounded now, so I have time to think this one thorugh, but no luck.

What am i doing wrong, I get yelled at but no one slips, ever. Is this banana peel thing real? If so what am i doing wrong.

Please help:(

We are 5 professionals renting a lovely family home through a professional estate agents.

A few months ago one of our friends sitting on a bar stool was dragged across the hardwood floor by another friend – the metal chair leg gouged a long, curved scratch onto the hardwood floor which we’ve tried in vain to get rid of by sanding/cleaning/wax polishing.

We are about to come to the end of our tenancy and are unsure of the best next steps in this instance. We have had a number of quotes from professional floor specialists – some say we are only responsible for the four planks that are scratched, another said we would have to re-sand the whole floor which will cost thousands.

A lawyer friend of ours also seems to think that the scratch will be covered by the owner’s insurance policy and we may only have to pay for the premium.

Can anyone advise on the legalities of this kind of damage? We are worried if we don’t bring it up before we move out, we’ll be taken for a ride for £thousands if they decide to resand the whole floor and blame it on our damage (the floor is pretty scuffed up anyway, so they could use this as an excuse to re-do it all).

Help much appreciated!
I should also add that it’s a really deep scratch and we’ve already tried wax sticks/sanding to no avail.

I have a Dell Inspiron, w/Windows XP pro, and whenever I would adjust the sound level or mute button, a bar indicator would appear on the screen. It has mysteriously vanished! I have looked in all the "help" and "indexs" for a way to restore this, but to no avail. I am sure it is an easy thing I am missing….I think there’s a malfunction somewhere between the keyboard and my chair…

what to do about my wood floors?

6 years ago we put in hardwood floors. Unfortunatly, they have become very "distressed" under our kitchen stools.
is there a product …oil or wax..or something I can use to keep them looking better (short of refinishing them or useing tile/rugs) the rest of the floor is in perfect conditions…I have put felt pads under the stool legs to no avail.
