Looking For A Party Hall in Queens (Any area) /Long Island (Nassau County)?

I am looking to rent a party hall/ venue for a college graduation party on Saturday May 31, 2008. The space must hold 150-200 people (Tables and chairs included, with dancing space available). I need a place where I can just rent the hall and bring in my own food and drinks (alcohol included) My budget is small (Looking to spend 0 – 0…a little more if necessary). I tried Knights of Columbus and American Legion, but they are all forcing me to use their bar. (I can’t just rent the hall.)

*Area must be safe and parking should be easy to find.

What’s a park pavillion building? It sounds like something that might be for the city/ government. Would they let me throw a private party?

I am looking for a banquet hall, or something similar for a 21st birthday party I am planning in November 2009. I need somewhere that has free parking, because I have a lot of out of towners coming. Also the most important thing, I want something that has a sort of industrial kitchen and a bar, because I am doing my own catering but we do not have a big enough kitchen to cook in.

I am a recent Culinary Arts Graduate, and I have a few students I usually work with, and A lot of catering places we just don’t agree with. Someone please help. I plan to have about 100-150 people there. It may seem like I have a lot time but I need to get started now, because I want a nice elegant party.
