Well, here’s the deal. I’ve lived with my mum ever since I was a baby, and never with my dad as they were never married, they only lived together, but then my dad moved to Spain.. but I still have contact with him. Anyways, I actually HATE my mum. I am fed up of her, she is a terrible mother to me. First of all, she thinks I’m a joke basically. She makes fun of me all the time. I go to the drama club at my school, and when I got picked for the lead role in our production, I couldn’t wait to tell her. I ran home and told her, but she just laughed and said "You’ll let them down." She didn’t come to the production, and that night I had to be driven home by a teacher. Everyone that night asked me why she wasn’t there, and I had to make stuff up. Every time I achieve something at school, she just laughs, and never congratulates me. She says I’m ugly, greedy, a fat pig, an idiot, and many other things. Every time I get dressed, she says I look terrible and I should wear what she tells me to. However I have my hair, she says it looks a mess. She says "Can I do your hair for you, so you don’t look like a scruff?" And when I try and politely tell her "No mum, I’m 15." She says "YOU HATE ME DON’T YOU?!". Every meal she makes me, she tells me to eat it all. If I leave one bit, she hits me. I’m short for my age, I’m 4’11 and I weight 6 stone 3 llb. A few years ago, she made me switch bedrooms with her. I was passive, and moved bedrooms. Then, 6months later, she made me move again because she had a new tv and it didn’t fit with the way her furniture was arranged. she made us switch rooms yet again, and I was quite annoyed since I’d just settled in, decorated and personalized my room. THEN, my mum made me move again because she ‘didn’t like the feel’ of the room. I was quite annoyed at this, and I said ‘Look, when do I ever get a choice in these decisions?’ she replied; ‘Never. I’m the adult, you’re the child.’ She made me move schools because I got a ten minute detention in maths, for forgetting my homework. Baring in mind, the school I went to in the first place was a ten minute walk from my house. She has a car, but she doesn’t drive me anywhere because she says if I do I’ll get fat. The one I go to now is a 25-30 minute walk, and she makes me walk there every morning, and I have to be there for 8:40. I was quite annoyed when she made me move, because I had such good friends at my old school. There’s a LOT more I could talk about. My friend Darcey just got back from Egypt, and she got me a little camel and a tobelerone from the airport. Over the course of today, I ate it all. I know I shouldn’t have, ate the whole bar. but I did, and then my mom hit me, called me a fat bitch, called all of her friends and told them what I did. Also, I went down from an A to a B in science at school. She grounded me for a month. During that month, my guy friend Joe came to my house. She chased him out of my garden, called up the family and said that I had sex with a guy, which is untrue. I’m absolutely sick of her being a controlling, assuming, lying mother who has nothing better to do than shout at me and call me names. I’m seriously considering running away, or living with my dad. The only problem is that my dad lives in spain.. I have no one else to go to, should I just run away?

starting at birth i’m the youngest of 3 and i was also the "mistake" child my siblings are 14 and 10 years older than me my dad smoked and drunk and was 49 when i was born and my mom was 33

3 years old is as far back as i can remember first of all i lived in the same house from birth all the way to 13 and it was a last minute whim because they had to move for more space for me and they had a really nice place and the day before they moved the landlord made my dad give the keys back because he heard around the neighbor hood my dad was a drug dealer but that was his best friend not him so my dad’s friend fixed a house up in two weeks the house had no installation in the walls was bug infested had mold all over it one outlet in each room and was very unhealthy and to top if off my dad smoked in the house so the walls where tinted yellow my dad slept on the couch i shared a room with my mom until i was six because we only had 3 small bedrooms and when my sister moved out my mom took her room my brother got the biggest room and i was stuffed in the smallest corner room i remember eating peanut butter and jelly and kool aid for lunch every day until i was about 5 or 6 when i was 7 and 8 my parents where always at work so i had to tag around with my brother who would play basket ball at the park with his friend till like 10 o clock and always told me i was to little to play then when i was 5-7 my mom was in and out of the hospital and my dad raised us in that time and he was an acholac so when we were waking up for school he was just getting home from the bar when i was 7 my dad told my mom that he didn’t want us talking to my sister any more becuase her new boyfriend was a recoved fellon and he heard alot of rumors about him (he was really a nice guy) so my mom would take me and we would have to sneek around to see her and my dad had his friends all around the neigbor hood watching and he heard that he moved in with her so he made my mom walk with him one time at like midnight to see if his car was there and another time i went with him and he told me we were going out to get breakfast then my dad later died when i was 9 and my brother was pissed and him and my mom fought almost every day and she kicked him out one night and the cops brung him home and my mom told them he wasn’t wlecomed here so he had to go to my sisters for the night then when he was 20 our mom got a boyfriend and when my brother was 21 she kicked him out so her boyfriend could move in and my brother had to go to my aunts and i was moved out the big room to the corner room again but now it was smaller because my brother had his stuff in the closet and i didnt even have a dresser i just had a shelf with my clothes on it and i was always finding bug in my room we also lived in a high crime neigbor hood and i remember we use to put plastic over our windows that where cracked and repared with duck tape even thow i didnt care i never got a gift i wanted or a card or any thing and my parents couldn’t even afford coats for us and we never had a matching furniture set or cable and almost every thing in our house was from off the curb and i was offen bored because even though i had older siblings they where gone and why would they want to play with some one so much youger

Now my house is pretty spacious but in DIRE need of a good cleaning. ( 3 bed 2 bathrooms)

I will be moving out of my rental home in July. Ill be 8 months pregnant and i know im not going to want to be cleaning with chemicals and ill just be too tired to. The house is like 800 sqf. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath living room, and kitchen. All of my stuff will be out so there will be no furniture to work around. But my question is how much do you think it would cost to clean up the place? I was thinking about going through Merry maids.

I need to repaint my apt. unsure of the colors –landlord said cant paint whatever Id like. as long as i repaint it before I move. My apt is about 600-650 sq feet..(estimate) How many gallons of paint would I need to do 2 coats on my walls…What color? My furniture is mostly dark oak..dark couches.. I want something to brighten up the place..any suggestions on what to do in ea. room. kitchen livingroom bedrooms and bathroom..Thanks…

its winter where iam at the moment. every wintertime my apartment walls and ceiling gets COVERED with mold. the whole apartment!! my bedrooms,kitchen,bathroom,lounge room even goes to my furniture and on the walls.

the agent inspected it and told me it was my fault because i do not open the windows therefore iam the one causing it so i should be responsible for cleaning it.

i admit i dont open windows.. i mean hello its winter and its freeezing,

if iam responsible for cleaning it. i have no problem doing it. i do not want to do it if its the agents responsibility..

I signed a lease to rent a property after viewing it once with the landlord. During the viewing, the family who lived there were in – their stuff was everywhere and the house looked in need of decoration but otherwise ok. I got the keys today – its awful! The furniture was hiding big holes in the wallpaper and mould in the kitchen. The bath panelling is cracked. The carpets are dirty and stained and the house is not clean. I was told that the house would be redecorated and cleaned before I moved in. This hasn’t happened. They now say they will paint and redecorate the two bedrooms but the rest of the house is still horrible. Is there any way out of this. Its costing me £450 per month! I’d appreciate any advice as I’m just feeling so down and sick at the thought of living there.

i want different colours in different rooms. i’ve already thought of putting in a lite blu in the hallway and living, a dark purple in the media, a creamy wite in the family. All i have left is the dining, beds, kitchen and laundry. Wat colors??

ive got mostly wood furniture – brown
and the room is pretty big.

BEDS:
there r 3 bedrooms 2 paint wat wud be best in all 3?

KITCHEN:
most is lite brown wood a bit creamy. All items (fridge cooker oven etc.) are silver.

LAUNDRY:
laundry is a small room. all items r wite.

I know that in a small appt./house there should be a harmony of colors even when somebody paitnts different rooms in different colors..I am going to buy a three bedroom appt.I have, so far,made up my mind to follow a cream and coffee/chocolate brown color scheme for my drawing room. The drawing – dining room is of "L" patteren, so I have to choose the same color scheme for the adjacent dining room too.I ‘ve a lot of accessories,furnitures.tablewares to match the scheme.So I don’t want to change my mind about the color scheme.But I do not want to follow the same for all of my three bedrooms, kitchens and bathroom.This is quite boaring.IAM FOND OF PASTELS.Please suggest me some other color scheme that will go well with the color of drawing -dining area.(this area is the common place from every room and naturally the largest open place.So by standing there every room should look harmonious in color scheme. ).Pls no yellow(except for kitchen)&blue(except for bathroom).

My sis and I are moving into an apartment that has 3 bedrooms. We need another tenant and one of my best girlfriends told us she was in, but right now she lives in a sorority and has an obligation to stay there until the end of the school year so for a month it will just be 2 of us. I have the master so I said I would pay more a month and she could pay less since she has the small room. We are bringing in all the furniture/kitchen needs and the washer and dryer. She has to pay her part of the deposit up front. But, should I be charging her more since she will be using our washer and dryer and kitchen/living room furniture? and — Should I tell her that she has to pay the first month’s rent or at least pay it back eventually? It makes sense to do that since im technically holding it for her for a month, but I don’t have anyone else lined up who could move in right away. I’m afraid if I make it more expensive for her she will back out and then we will be screwed to pay rent

I’m living in a rental property that has 2 of the bedrooms infested with mold that has grown on furniture and walls, kitchen floor cave in, ceiling is leaking when it rain, and no ac. Landlord still want rent. What shall I do when the landlord seen all of my furniture mess up.

We have walnut hardwood floor in dining room and I have killed them around the baseboards, climbing up furniture and doorways….we have carpet in hall and some of the bedrooms and I have killed them running thru the carpet in there. I cannot figure out where they are coming from, as they are on 2 levels of the house, so I dont know hopw to kill them. we have animals and samll kids, so we have to be careful. PLEASE HELP! What do you do when you cant find a path or source?
