( something light but with a few in mind I met over the years…lol)

Bar Friends

Preach not your ways and expect respect.
Harp on others and see old friends flee.
Or think tact is spelled with but a “K.”
For judgment comes long before the day.

You are a rude, boorish, insensitive one
but only your mirror dares speak of it.
Even your dog cowers the ground before
while your wife, well, she’s remarried.

But cheer up, its Friday, your drinking day
and we’ll all greet you when you enter
but that chair and that chair- they’re taken.
Now aren’t we your best friends ever?

A. Go to a strip club

B. Just sit in your fave chair and cry

C. Just sleep all day

D. Run all over the town in the nude

E. Go and ruin your best friends relationship

F. Hide in the bushes and everytime a couple walks by you spit on them

G. Go to the bar and get drunk
H. Make random prank calls

So far, How is my story?

It’s a coming of age story, i guess. I still have a few ideas to work in the story but its mainly about Oliver and Sarah being forced to play 7 Minutes in Heaven at a party, but both end up with the same sex as their partner. After that night Oliver begins to question his sexuality, and it influences Sarah to think she’s a lesbian (Though, in the closet where they play the game at the party, Oliver and the guy end up doing more than Sarah and her partner.)
Sorry if there are any spelling or grammatical errors.
P.S There is a bit of cussing, just to let you know, but it’s a part of the character
—-
Drunken teenagers, dirty dancing, and music blasting loud enough to make your ears ring for days.
It was a typical high school party.
Oliver jumped out of his Hummer, almost hitting a few party people in the driveway. Sarah followed suit, and the two friends walked up to the porch. Sarah linked arms with Oliver and intertwined her fingers with his, as if it was nothing, though the two were not together. It was sort of a secret pact, if you will; You see, Sarah and Oliver were best friends, though like in the movies and TV shows, they never were together as a couple and never thought about it, but they acted like a couple for their school. Everyone already thought they were, since they were always hanging out together, and whenever they tried to deny it, people just smiled and rolled their eyes.
The two waited outside for the line into the party to move, talking to each other and waving to guests they knew. The music was loud enough to hear from blocks away, and people waiting in line danced, as did the two friends. Slowly, the line moved, and the two friends found themselves at the threshold of the front door. Sarah was laughing into Oliver’s jacket from seeing people’s wild dancing. Oliver smiled and carried her in as the host of this party appeared in front of the friends, smiling and he bowed, making a gesture as if to show off what a great party he was throwing, and disappeared as quickly as he came.
` Sarah led the way to the kitchen where teens huddled around finger sandwiches and bags of chips. She loaded her plate with food, though of course she was going to share with her friend, but she could easily eat the entire food mountain she was building, with her fast metabolism. She turned around, expecting Oliver to be close by, but he was nowhere near her. She was puzzled, but shrugged it off; a girl must’ve gotten a hold of him and started dancing with him, or he was off saying his hello’s to the people he hadn’t seen since the beginning of summer. She picked at the food from her bar stool in the kitchen looking out at the dance floor. She liked parties, sure—but she was shy, honestly. She was pretty, that was a fact, with her chocolate brown eyes and long wavy blond hair and the few freckles on her face, but that was the problem; if she were to show up in a police car and be in for a mug shot, the officers would most likely laugh and send her on her way. She was smart and had friends and was known in school, but she wasn’t a slut, she didn’t do any drugs or play any sports, so she wasn’t exactly in the “In-crowd” or tough, and she wasn’t one of the many girls out on the floor grinding against a guy. She sighed and began to stuff her face with the pile of chips, but that was before someone filled the void beside her and took her hand to kiss it.

Suddenly grabbed by the hood of his black jacket, Oliver was quickly pulled away from his friend and was escorted through the groups of people and soon enough, he was thrown into a closet, hitting the back wall and enclosed in darkness. Needless to say, he was utterly confused and was only accompanied with a rising headache. He stood up, but fell, and laughed. “Okay guys, very funny, now lemme out.” He stood and knocked on the door, but no one heard it outside, where the music blasted and a group of girls searched the room for their next victim. He started to yell even more, maybe for the fear of this wasn’t a game, but it was a prank and he was going to say in there for the next few hours, but it was no use. He sighed and backed up, but was soon knocked down as the door flung open and someone else was pushed in and crashed on top of him. He knocked back against the wall, again, and the force that was now uncomfortably on top of him let out a groan.
“What the f*ck…” Said the now way-too-close body on top of Oliver. Oliver soon pushed off the weight and another groan and sigh was heard. “What the hell is going on?”
“Well unless there is going to be another body in here for some kind of new closet cult, I’m pretty sure they want us to play that 7 minutes in heaven game…”
“No sh*t, Sherlock. The problem is, you’re a guy, aren’t you?”
Oliver snorted. “Well, isn’t it obvious by my voice?”
“Uh, not really, maybe the girls outside didn’t pick that up either, since you sound like a girl, honestly. But anyways, I’m not gay, and I am definitely not about to tr
Try* sorry

Need advice about putting my cat to sleep?

I have 3 cats and a dog all males I also have a 4 year old little girl.
My oldest cat is somewhere around 14 or so years old he was a stray we took in 10 years ago.
We are having a hard time with this and I will list the reasons why I think he should be put to sleep I made an apt. 2 weeks ago and cancelled last minute because I just couldnt do it.
Ok for starters
1.For about 5 years now he has had alot of itching on his head we have tried everything the vet can think of and nothing helps it is to the point now when he scratches his head he yelps in pain and you can tell it is itchy alot, poor thing
2.For the past year when he goes to the bathroom he has bright red blood in his stool and ALL of his poop is very runny which I am sure is not very comfortable, the vet said stress I had him cjecked a few times.
3.My dog and him used to be best friends they have been together from the start for the past 2 years everytime my cat is even in his sight my dog attacks him and sometimes to the point my dog will have fur in his mouth and my dog guards the kitchen so the cat cant get into the basement, not sure what is going on there really weird the change all of a sudden, maybe the dog senses the cat is sick, not sure? nothing has changed as har as alpha animal would be concerned.
4. for the past year the cat has been missing the litter box it started he would get right next to it and now it is wherever he wants to go and again it is the bloody slimy stuff which is VERY unsanitary to my family, my daughter is old enough to yell out MOMMY yuck come here quick but this is 2-3 times a day I think I am being very patient alot of people would have put there animal down along ago for this reason.
I have tried differnt cat foods, the vet said try a fiber diet etc… no help.
5. The cat has been throwing up for awhile now for awhile it was just once in awhile and it would be his catfood right after he ate and now it is at least once a day and it looks just like slimy poop, I notice he has lost some weight lately.
6. A big problem and with me probably the straw that broke the camels back is he has been peeing on things, on my husbands shirts, on my daughters blankets, on my shoes etc… I wasnt sure which cat was doing it and tonight we were watching tv and my daughter had a blanket on the floor and the cat comes up paws at the blanket my husband was about the yell at him and I said no let him do what he is going to do I want to see that he is actually doing it and sure enough he peed all over it right in front of us and it had nothing to do with he was too old or not able to make it to the litter boxes he just sat there and did it, I was mad!!!!! The worst smell in the world is cat pee especially from a male and I have thrown away ALOT of things some that I love because I refuse to have that smell in the house I dont care how much or how hard you clean it, it still smells and I dont know if you have ever smelled someone that smells like cats but it is gross and I will not be one of those people!!
7. All this poor cat wants to do is go outside and eat grass and lay in the sun and we wont let him out we dont want him to get hit by a car and there is a couple of stray cats across the street, my other cat got out (long story) a few weeks ago and one of the cats beat the crap out of my 18 pound strong cat so I dont want to chance anything.
So I guess by me just writing all of this has helped to make up my mind but the reason why I am having a hard time is
1. My daughter just loves this cat she loves all animals but this cat she just loves she can pick him up carry him around (gently) he sleeps on her lap he rubs up against her he just loves her too, the other too cats she likes too the one likes her ok and the one is scared but this one just adores her.
2. He still has a good appetite and still drinks water fine
3. He still gets playful at times like a little kitten his eyes get all big and he will chase after a bug or a toy.
4. He jumps around like crazy like nothing in the world hurts him.
and 5 he is just a very very nice sweet cat! the best cat I have ever had a nice little lap cat that isnt too buggy and still needs lots of love!
Soooo there is my whole story and I hope someone has the time to read all of this and not judge me but maybe give me some advice I really need it!
Thanks,
Connie
There is one option at the moment, my parents are moving from another state closer to where we live and my m om just loves this cat and she told me to wait on what I do and when they move which will be in a month or so that they might take the cat (have to work on my dad he says no) but the thing would be he would be an outside cat there, they have 2 cats and they are inside/outside cats and this new house has a barn type thing he would live in with a couple acres of land in the middle of nowhere which would be fine now but what happens when it gets cold? I know my mom and she would let him in if it got too cold but with the blood poop trails and the pee that wouldnt last long in there NEW house. I have taken him to a couple vets and they pretty much tell me the same thing about the blood and the itching I have changed his diet and done cortisone shots etc.
As far as my dog he is not aggresive what so ever that is what is so weird he one day just started going after this cat.
thanks

My friend’s house is a complete mess. Help?

I know my question probably made me sound snobby and ignorant, but if you’re still interested keep reading: This is one of my VERY best friends, and I want to feel comfortable when I go over to her house. It’s just so unsanitary and an eyesore. Her dog (a westie) isn’t housebroken. And even though my friend and her family have absorbent sheets for the dog to use, Roxie (dog’s name) goes wherever she pleases. And the things is, my friend’s family sometimes don’t clean up after her. Which definitely makes a difference over time. I’m super sorry if this sounds gross, but tend to be little pieces of stool on the floors. Then there’s the vomit stains (from the dog) on the carpet, and odor near the garage and kitchen. The kitchen floor looks like it hasn’t seen a mop in years. Plus, the house has dead bugs lying around. Now I know that I can’t expect everyone’s house to be sparkling – mine isn’t either. But I just want to enjoy spending the night at my friend’s house instead of feeling disgusted. When I take a step in to the home, I would like to take a step back out. I really do not want to hurt my friend’s feeling by saying anything…I’m not sure what to do.

Any advice? Has anyone been in this kind of situation before?

Please help! what do you think? Need feedback?!?

I know its about Jonas Brothers, but i’ll change it later. I was obsessed with them when I began writing this. I’ve written several of these, so please tell me what you think! Basically its about a girl whose best friends with the Jonas Brothers and her parents die. I’ll post more later…

I flipped the television remote over and over in my hands repeatedly.
Mum walked in the room and sat on the couch, going through her handbag.
“What are you going to do today, sweetie?”
I shrugged.
“Something will come up. I think I’m babysitting Frankie. I’ll go over soon.”
“Okay. Well. I’m working till 7. Your father is working till 9. I’ll pick up some dinner on my way home. So I’ll see you tonight, baby.”
I nodded and smiled.
“Sounds good.”
“Bye Hannah. I love you.”
She kissed my cheek and opened the door.
“Love you too.”
I heard the car pull out of the driveway and I stared at the figures on the screen.

Oh hi. Someone’s reading this. I’m Hannah Fraser. I’m a sixteen year old that lives in California. Next door lives my friends, the Jonas Brothers. Well, I hardly refer to them as that. Usually, it’s just the Jonas family. My parents have been best friends with the Jonas parents since they all went to high school together. Ever since then, our families have been inseparable. Denise and Paul, the parents, have four children. Kevin, Joe, Nick and Frankie. Kevin’s 21, Joe’s 18, Nick’s 16 and Frankie’s 8. They’re my best friends. It’s funny. Nick and I have literally known each other since birth. We have the same birth date. Our parents had us in the same hospitals. Joe and Kevin have been in my life forever. I can’t remember anything without them in it.
And Frankie. Well he’s the little brother I never had. The Jonas’ are practically family. Now we live next door to each other.

I looked at the clock. 9.30. Kevin might be up. I switched the TV off and headed to the Jonas house. The hot air hit my face the minute I walked outside. If Kevin hasn’t put the air con on, I’ll tackle him.
I reached the house and opened the door. Denise and Paul were sitting on the couch, Frankie on the floor with some Lego.
“Hey Hannah. How are you sweetheart?” Denise smiled and stood up.
“Hi Denise. I’m good. Aren’t the boys up?”
“No. You can wake them though.”
I shook my head.
“Hey Paul.”
“Hi Hannah. How’d you sleep?”
“Good thanks.”
I sat beside Frankie on the floor, and he jumped in my lap.
After ten minutes of building towers with Frankie, Denise and Paul came into the room.
“Well Hannah, we’re taking Frankie down to the shops. We’ll probably be back in two or three hours. Might grab some lunch. Do you wanna come?” Denise looked around for her bag.
I looked at her.
“Um. No thanks. I’ll hang here until one of the boys get up. Frankie, you leave the Lego. I’ll pack it up.”
Denise smiled as Frankie ran to her and Paul.
“Thanks, sweetheart. You’re a doll. We’ll be back then. Tell the boys when they get up.”
I nodded.
“Sure thing.”
They left and I packed up the Lego.
What was the time? Almost ten past ten.
I ran up the stairs and opened Joe’s door.
Joe was practically my best friend. Nick and Kevin were my best friends too, but I was closest to Joe.
He was slumped over his bed, snoring lightly.
His dark hair had fallen over his eyes, and his blue blanket had fallen off him.
Joe’s computer was still on. I’d finished talking to him on AIM at about eleven last night; I guessed he hadn’t gone to bed as early as me.
I walked to him, wondering how I should wake him.
“Joe.” I shook his shoulder and he snored louder. “Joe! Come on!” I shook him harder and he snored louder and louder.
“Ugh!” I said, making a crying noise.
Then an idea hit me. I went straight to Frankie’s room and stepped through the mess of toys.
“Yes!” I said as I picked up the blow horn. “Perfect.”
As I entered Joe’s room, I pressed the button on the horn firmly.
Joe shot up and blocked his ears.
“Good. You’re up.”
Joe threw his head back and wiped his eyes.
He sighed and I sat next to him.
“What time did you go to bed? God. You look like a zombie.”
Joe glared at me.
“What happened to a gentle wake up?” He complained.
“I did try to wake you but you snored really loud! So come on and get up. I’m bored.”
Joe stood up, grabbing my hand.
We went down to the kitchen and I slid into one of the kitchen stools.
“Are you hungry, little miss?” Joe asked.
“Nah. I’m good. What time did you stay up till last night?”
“Only about 11.30. It was boring without having you to talk to. Holy crap. It’s hot in here.”
He put some juice on the bench and slipped his shirt off.
“We need air con.” Joe grabbed the remote and pressed a button. “Hannah.”
I looked at him.
“What?”
He pressed another button.
“It won’t turn on.”
“Press the big red button that says on.”
“Right. I knew that.”
He pressed the right button and the beeping noise signalled it was on.
The rest of the day was average, kind of boring actually.
For god friggin sake, I said that I’m changing the friggin Jonas Brothers thing! I’m not even a fan of the Jonas Brothers any more, I used to be and I couldn’t bother changing the names yet. So what, if its Jonas Brothers though, that has nothing to do with my writing style or how I write a story. If you are gonna say something just about Jonas Brothers then don’t bother even com menting because I will report you. Now F*** off you Jonas Brother haters because you have nothing better to do.

How does this sound?

So-called friend,
I’ve been going through this divorce all alone for months now when we became closer friends. Our friendship grew to a crush but you had a girlfriend so I backed off but I still wanted to be friends. There were many times I needed someone but you were not there. I understood, we’re not best friends, I’m older and I have a kid, I came on too strong, too needy, so I took what I could get and that was an occational talk while at work. I figured you were wrapped up in your own relationship problems to be there for me as a friend. I have so little friends that I put all the pressure on you.
Now you are going through the same thing and I have done everything in my power to be there for you as a friend. I let you cry, gave you a hug, and listened. I offered u a place to stay, offered u furniture to borrow while looking for a permanent place to live, and even got in trouble at work for texting u or standing back in the teller area too long just to listen to your woes. All your “real” friends haven’t been there for you so u say. I have. But you were NEVER there for me. It’s not fair. That’s y I am mad. You want to go out with your “single friends” now. What the fuck am I? I have offered numerous times, begged almost, to go out to a bar or something. I managed to get you to go somewhere with me like 2 times ever. We had fun, right? I fuckin give up. I get the hint. I am good enough to talk to at work but that’s were it ends. Next time you want to bitch about your life or need a shoulder to cry on, go fuck yourself!

Hello, I need some advice. My husbands 14 yr old cat Ezra has been acting odd this past week. he’s never been one to jump on furniture really, never been one to knock things over and is usually very well behaved, but hes been knocking stuff off the TV, jumping on the bar and layoing on the kitchen table where he KNOWS he isnt supposed to, and on the counters and hes jumping in our laps to steal food, and hes scratching at the sliding door all the time and yowling, but hes fixed, as of, years ago, but we do have a female cat Grizabella-Rumpleteaser-Stokes, and shes about 7 or 8 mths now, but she isnt in heat, please help, im worried Ezra may be going crazy and hes coming close to that big cat litter box in the sky. Please answer quickly! thank you
Firstly, Ezra and Grizabella are best friends, he was lonely and took her in and sleeps with her, plays with her all day and has become as active as a kitten again with her. Now, to answer the others, were gonna get him a climbing post this month, but hes been acting weirder, out of knowhere he started sleeping above my head, or on my head, so i think maybe he is ready to go…it breaks my heart…my husbands had him since he lost his momma when he was first born…he nursed that poor little guy until it was strong enough to stand and eat on its own…
