How to remove marks made from a computer chair with wheels on hardwood floor?
I have hardwood floors and my computer chair has made white kind of scratched marks on it and I was wondering if I could use anything to remove them. Thanks!

I have a computer chair that got a little wet. Now there are some spots on the cover which I suspect is mold. (I can’t use bleach as it’s a colored cover).
Preferably using products such as detergent, vinegar etc. and not having to buy those expensive furniture cleaners.
I have been thinking lately about buying myself a nice quality computer chair for my desk at work. The chairs they supply us with have no arms and lousy back support, thus making my very uncomfortable. The problem is, the place I work is actually a ton of cubicles lined up. I have seen other people who have bought a nice chair for themselves, but when they have the day off or are out sick, someone takes their chair and uses it. To me this is really rude because these people don’t ask, they just walk right up to the absent person’s desk and roll their chair over to their cubicle. Often times the person comes back to a broken, stained, torn, smelly, or otherwise destroyed chair. If I am going to spend 0-0 on a chair, I do not want anyone to ruin it. What are some suggestions for making sure that people don’t use my chair without seeming like a selfish jerk?
Ever since my father sat on my computer chair too harshly the air pump gave way and it’s a little to uncomfortable to sit on now to say the least.
I was wondering if there is an alternative to computer chairs? Without the swivel and the air pump. Just a decent ordinary chair with good height and back support.
I’ve already tried our dining chairs and I can’t afford to keep buying computer chairs.
I have a very comfy computer chair, but every time I get up from it, it makes noise… not a good combination with a sleeping baby. What can I use and how do I get the creek out of the computer chair?
The squeek is in the back part of the chair that is covered with material. So the HOW is important. Thanks!
im looking for a country look computer chair, to match my white antique looking desk, does anyone know where i could find one? or any suggestions?
I work online and spend around 6-7 hours a day online. What is the best computer chair to maintain good posture and what not?
I need to do product research on the cost of plastics for chairs and I can’t find anything online that will tell me the type of materials. Can anyone tell me what kind of plasic some chairs are made of? For example a computer chair because of their durablility.
I just broke my 4th chair this year. Don’t bother telling me to diet, I tried and cant. I need gastric bypass but cant afford it. I even bought a 2oo dollar chair and after about a month or 2 it broke. What brands would best suit me, for a computer chair and how much weight do average chairs for the computer hold? Serious answers only, no need to be mean.
I’ve been using a bar stool..and my rear hurts after about 20 mins :c
so whats a good quality ( for the money), and comfy computer chair?
the cheaper in price the better but i want something that will last a while..and i can’t stress comfort enough lol.
winner gets 10 pnts ;D
Need a neutral opinion.
- Was considering spending money on a limo for a night out with some friends
- These friends are good people but not really good friends if thats easy to understand. Flakey, always broke, etc
- I can use the money spending on something physical as I feel this could just be a cheap thrill
- Spending money on this also to me is fine as I dont need/want anything material as I have enough
So do I spend (300) on a limo for bar hopping or use it for something physical, new computer chair, desk? Not sure! Thanks!
I just got a full-time job as a typist at an abstract and title company, and recently I’ve found that, after awhile, I can’t hardly stand to sit in my chair anymore, my back hurts so bad. It’s a crappy little computer chair, and while I can spend a sufficient amount of time sitting up straight and proper, after awhile it just doesn’t matter what I do, I eventually just get frustrated. I’ve tried adjusting the back of the chair, the damn metal bar that the back is attached to is always there, regardless of how low I put the back.
And of course, the neck pain is due to having to look to the side at whatever it is I’m copying at the time. (They still use typewriters. -.-)
Anyone have any suggestions?
Qtea: I honestly wish I knew what these peoples’ problems were! There are only four of us in this place. The boss (who is a really friendly, mellow guy), his 80/90-some-year-old father, and a woman in her 40′s, who’s definitely given me the "Ha! They’ll never get computers!" remark before when I’ve commented on it, lol.
I dunno. It would be SO much faster and more convenient, it’s ridiculous stupid to still be using electric typewriters. Ugh. Lol.
Mine is my Mom’s computer desk, under and on my parents’ bed, at the breakfast bar, and on my Mom’s computer chair. Its funny, he doesnt like to sleep on couches.
My 16 month old daughter got on the computer chair the other day an was pounding on the keyboard and now the task bar on the desktop is vertical on the left and its horribly annoying?
My toolbar is VERTICAL you know, up and down, against the left side of the screen, there is NO drag and drop or lock BS….when you click and hold, i can make it wider but then it fills half the screen…i need to make it horizontal…
I put a pillow on it but its still not comfortable, its a computer chair , what can i put on it to make it comfortable?
