I am a student at JMU, and me and my roommates decided that wanted to completely pimp out our porch and make it into an awesome fort. We are getting curtains that will open and close, putting a couch out there, we already have a carpet. The only problem is that the porch directly above ours leaks when it rains because there is no actual roof above us, its just our neighbors porch. So what we need are some ideas for a makeshift roof that won’t cost us a lot of money and that works. Any ideas will be helpful!

How do I make my couch cushions more fluffy?

Our couch is only 1 year old and the cushions are already flattened out. How can we make them a little more fluffy without replacing them?

what happened to my dead dog?

On the 21st is a month since my dog’s death and I feel a little better to ask about what happened to him to get closure. We were on the couch one evening and he started yelping so loudly, one of the most terrifying sounds I have ever heard my dog make And he ran inside my room and ran under my bed where he began dragging himself all over the place. I dragged him from under my bed and his eyes were rolling back and he was shaking…i was frantic had no idea what to do so I ran to the kitchen and wet a towel and put it over his head, wiping and cooling him off. I gave him a little bit of milk, which he was able to drink a little bit of. When I went to the kitchen was when I noticed that he had made a mess in my hallway, there was vomit and stool everywhere. After a couple of minutes he stood back up and he was a little shaky still and couldn’t get back on the couch so i insisted he lay on the floor and let me keep taking care of him…he started yelping again and tried to run back under the bed but i grabbed him and yelled for someone to bring me his leash so i can rush him to the vet. I live on the 5th floor and he managed to get to the 4th floor and suddenly tried to run back upstairs to my apartment yelping again, i tried to reassure him so he can calm down and laid him down in the lobby of the 4th floor. his eyes started rolling up again and throwing up…he did one really big stretched and died in my arms…can someone try to help me figure this one out?? I know he was in a lot of pain and I have been beating myself up over this for a month now. :( I’m still a little sensitive guys so please have some compassion.

How to wash cushion after a milk spill?

My son spilled a huge cup of chocolate milk on the couch. My husband dried it up as best he could with a towel, but I am afraid it is going to sour and smell terrible. How would you clean the cushion??
What about the cushion itself?? The cover obviously can be cleaned, I just don’t want the sour milk smell to seep into the cushion and be stinky!

I have a vintage sectional sofa. The fabric is something like polyester but it is really slick so the cushions slide around all the time. There are three sections and three cushions. The couch has no arms so the cushions can slide right off if I sleep or lounge on the couch. I rotate the cushions so that I don’t wear them out so I don’t want to glue on velcro or anything. There has to be a way to fix this.
The couch is very slippery. It’s like those awful 80′s taffeta bridesmaid gowns.

How do you wash a whole cushion from the couch?

My 5-year old brother has problems and is always wetting his pants when he falls asleep because he drinks to much milk and juice. So this time, he fell asleep on the couch and wet hiself. The urine went through the cover of the cushion and all the way down to the other side of the cushion, so it’s on both sides. My question is, How are you supposed clean the cover and the inside of the cushion?
Bye the way, we’ve tried to stop him, but he gets us

My dog must have peed on my couch which he had never done before. Anyways, I first tried scrubbing it with stain removal products that I have, didn’t work. Then I removed the cushion cover and washed it in the washer. The cushion smells fine, but it still smells because it actually went through the cushion cover inside the actual cushion. So how does one clean the actual cushion? It smells so bad I am actually thinking of just getting another couch, which I really don’t want to.

What colour drapes to match green chairs?

I have a very neutral looking living room. Our walls are a taupe colour, and we have a couch which is a few shades lighter than the walls. We have two green chairs, that are kind of an olive green. The other furniture in the room is white and a darker mahagony. Right now we have green curtains, and the only place the chairs fit in this room is in front of the window. The greens don’t look good so close together.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

How do you get rid of echo?

I have echo in my living room. I do have furniture there-couch, love seat, big tv, deck, etertainment center. But still there is slight echo in the room. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it and the feeling that I live in a cave?

My stepmom tried to…????

My dad has a new wife and I HATE HER!!! One day I came home from school and she was sitting on the couch watching tv so I went behind the couch said nothing to her and ran upstairs to my room. I put my bag down then when back down to the kitchen. I was searching the fridge for some pudding I got some and sat on one of the bar stools and ate it. She randomly looks at me and says "Oh, so your to good to say hi to me?!" I said sorry and she says "Whatever". She stomps over to me puts her finger in my face and scolded me like I was a child. While she was yelling at me I just got up and was going upstairs. Then she threatened to slap me if I didn’t come back down. I turned around and said "I Hate You I Never Even Wanted You In My Life!!!". She hasn’t talked to me since that day. (That day was 2 days ago).
I feel like apologizing but then again I want to tell my dad what she does because he has NO IDEA that any of this goes on. I want to apologize? Should I?

my mother has always said (and my dad doesnt argue) that she has "something" that is watching over her, and has given it a name, brittany. everytime my mom gets mad, or upset or insanely irritated, things tend to move, thrown across the room, thrown at people, dishes that were in the cabinets get slammed violently to the floor in the MIDDLE of the room, things of that nature. well, last night my boyfriend and i got into an arguement, as we often do, and it spilled over into today and tonight. so i got irritated from getting the cold shoulder from him all day, and got up saying it was too cold in the living room and i wasnt talking about the temperature, and i stormed into the bedroom. he came in shortly and got his pillow and a blanket to stay on the couch, so i went back into the livingroom to get my laptop and saw the cups cabinet door was open, which is a pet peeve of mine, so when i came back through the kitchen and saw EVERY SINGLE cabinet door open, including the ones too high for him to reach without a stool and the ones that even i cant touch with a stool (im taller) i didnt think about it and commenced to slam them all shut and then said to him that was real adult, and he griped back and i came into the bedroom. he cant reach those. after that a few minutes later one was open again but im pretty sure he was just being stupid that time, but i called my dad and he told me that those things that happened around my mom didnt happen until she was 21, they got married when she was 18. im 21. so hes all into it now and my problem is this kind of stuff freaks me out. i need to be able to look for information on this stuff and idk what im looking for, someone please tell me what i can google to at least get some scientific footing for this, i hate things i cant explain. i need to be able to have something to explain this.

What should I do with my deck?

I have a deck on the bottom with patio furniture. It has 2 wicker chairs and a couch. They are very comfortable. What could with it. It is like another room. It is partially covered on the top of my top deck.

My living room is a light purple, with a white couch, and black accessories and I love it, The problem is that I have an open doorway that leads into my kitchen. My kitchen, which I haven’t remodeled since I moved in last year, is a dark yellow (ew) with tan cabinets. I am planning on completely redoing it, but I need help matching it to my living room. Please help!

For those that have viewed my other Q, i put a alittle thought into the detail.

Time: about 2:30pm – 3:40PM
Date: Yesterday.
Place: Babes Gentlemen’s Club in Fort Myers.

I had some time to kill before i need to pick up my mother from work and after juxtoposing a bar or a food place to do it, I decided why not go to a strip club. I had not been to a strip club before and I thought "what the he//?.

At approximately 3:30 pm I pulled into the parking lot of a dilapidated Gentlemen’s club with a neon sign that said BABES.
I went inside and I approached the bar, the bartender promptly ased for My ID and once he comfirmed that I was 21 I ordered a bottle Michelobe Ultra for (pretty pricey i might add).
I sat for a moment and watched as the scantily clad dancers performed about the pole; when I glanced over she smiled at me.
Flirtatiously , I smilled back, and swiveled my chair towards the bar as I rlled my eyes in her rouse. A dancer approached me and asked me if i wanted a dance, I didn’t really want a dance , I just wanted a quick beer but I had mentioned that it was my first time at a place like that and had asked her her name and started a bit of small talk , and said why not.

I walked with her over to the couch where she proceeded to gyrate her body against mine. I wasn’t sure if i was allowed to touch her and stuff and mentioned something to the effect. She said it was fine if i Played with her breasts, But in her vernacular said " just don’t touch my Va J J". LOL I remember saying something like " so you think I’m a Perv?" , and she was like NO i dont, Those old guys that come here every day, those are pervs lol. I actually got two dances in a row like an idiot.

Afterwards, I paid the girl and sat and smoked a ciggarette and we were talking about some other thing, and she said she had to go and she’d be right back. I sat and fooled with my phone for a second and began to smoke another ciggarette.

When she returned she said that hse had gotten a little busy at the moment and asked if I would be staying longer. I told her that I had to go, that I had something to do and that I sould be leaving shortly.

Thats when she said " oh, well here take my number, I get off at like 7." I said i don’t have texting but. I might call lol.

I’m not rich, and I likely didn’t give that impression – I might have even said aomething about how I see the Money along side with religion and power as the leading causes of strife in the world. So I mean, I don;t think that she would have thought of a motive to increase earnings by developing a bigger clientelle.

What i’m asking esssentially, is wether or not Dancers give out their number "willy-nilly, and to anyone" or is it something that they rarely do. What I have found in similar questions there are three reasons:

1. Intends to make that person a sugar-daddy that would buy gifts and pay some bills.
2. Has an illicit sex bussiness on the side and wants the person to be another jon that will pay an exobient fee to have sex with them. Or to have regulars to dance for.
3. She actually likes the guy and would like to develop a freindship or non-platonic relation ship.

The Question is not wether she would be a good girlfriend, nor is it one of my thoughts on her occupation. The question simply is, would a dancer normally give her number to anyone she dances for. Or is she interested in me for doing so.I’m moving away soon anyway so I don’t care about relationships. I really lost faith in the idea.

@ Missnaula :

If you had higher than a 10th grade edusation or the attention capacity of a dog, you would find that it would’nt had been difficult to read the question and give a thoughtful and perhaps informative answer. Because you’ve show to have neither of the above your answer is henceforth irrelevant.
