My Husbands Friend and the Best man in Our wedding is a good guy. My husband now 24 and his Friend who is 19 grew up next to each other when my husband moved from Russia to the USA.
Here is the Help I need.

Jr who is my husbands Friend lives in Complete Fifth with his 13 year old sister and Parents. They have 7 cats who Pee and Poop everywhere, In the Kitchen on the furniture Etc. Every time we go visit the Whole house reeks of piss and poop. There are filthy dishes with Bugs swarming in the Kitchen. The Daughters bed reeks of Cat peep and poop and is nasty. Her clothing is Dirty and there only Bathroom leeks and as mold everywhere.
I can’t Stand going into the house. Every time I do visit the daughter complains of being hungry and there is only dirty nasty food in the Kitchen so I end up taking her out. This family is a Nice family but has fallen on hard times. But I breaks my heart seeing the condition that the family lives in. I have invited them to my house for dinner but they cannot afford the gas to drive 20 miles. I have gotten the Daughter clothing and things she needs. My husband and I just bought our first house, Its is small but very clean and cozy. We have invited Jr and his Sister to stay with us but because of work and school it’s just too far.
My husband was only 12 when he met the family and things were different then.
I really want to help them but I don’t see how else I can. What Do I do?
I am only 22 and adopted myself from a similar situation. I am not sure how far helping will go.

Is this Child neglect and if So, What do I do?

Is this Normal?

Ive been dating my girl friend for about 9 months. And everytime we go down an aisle at a store that is like home stuff like for example; furniture, dishes, kitchen stuff, etc. I always think about marrying her. Im only in high school. Is this normal for a guy?

I’m not sure I asked that correctly, but the deal is I am a caregiver for a neighbors elderly mother, When I was hired I was asked to come in daily from 9am-noon and assist with meal preparation, make her bed, keep her room clean, and assist her to walk, and they offered me this and allow me to bring my daughter to work (12 months)

Now she told me other than to maintain her mothers addition to home (living room, bedroom and bathroom), I would need to do dthe dishes in the ‘main house’, and vacuum floors in main living room and that was okay.

The problem lies here, they are now having me clean their bathroom, clean their formal, and informal living rooms, formal.informal didning rooms, washing windows, cleaning kitchen, polishing furniture, washing walls and all that.

All for /hour, the same pay as I agreed to for being the caregiver, oh and they changed the hourse to 10am to 1pm, which works not as good for me.

How to ask for more money when working for a neigbor?

Our kitten hides from our family and we have trouble coaxing him out. We adopted him from whiskers. He was handled by a wonderful caregiver who cured him of respiratory problems as a small kitten. He is very shy. We have a 12 year old female who is pretty cuddly but hisses at the new member so we have been trying to introduce them slowly. They have separate dishes and kitty box. Our house can be noisy with kids over. We thought it might be helpful to keep the kitten in my daughters room with her at night and we have the litter box in her room and cat food until the kitten adjusts. My husband thinks that this is unsanitary and the food and box should be downstairs in the kitchen. However, when we bring the kitten downstairs, it seems afraid and wants to run and hide under furniture and not eat. How can we ease the transition for this adorable frightened kitten? we have only had him for three days. (christmas present for my daughter). The cat has been neutered and shots too.

Aside from the obvious, what do guests cringe at?

Whenever I have guests over, I always:
~pick up dirty clothes and miscellaneous clutter scattered
~wash all dishes
~vacumn, mop wood floors/bathroom/kitchen
~wipe off counters, make sure toilet and tub are clean

what else do guests really look at to come up with the idea that I have a dirty house? I don’t want to have to hire a professional to move all furniture and clean every little corner every time someone comes over.

I need this bad!!!?

I am looking for bedroom, livingroom, kitchen furniture/supplies (ie dishes, pots/pans, etc) I just got a new apartment in the Tulsa, Ok area and am in dier need!! Freebee’s are great if anyone has anything decent. I am willing to spend wisely also. Thanks for all the help!

what 3 things would you buy or have bought from a garage sale?
Anything…eg. clothing, baby items, electronics, kitchen dishes, household items, furniture, etc.

I’m having the living room carpets replaced. And I’ll clean the kitchen floor. Those are the only 2 rooms that flooded. I’ll throw away damaged belongings, furniture. But do things that didn’t even get wet have to be disinfected too?

I knew a family whose *basement* flooded, but somewhere mold grew on their dishes UPSTAIRS. My flood was nowhere near as bad and the water receeded quickly but still…?

What should I do to make sure it’s clean and disinfected here?

Buying furniture for first house?

My fiance and I are going to be buying a house in two years, and we are starting to save. I’m in charge of the furniture part, and was wondering how much I should save. Right now we’ve budgeted about ,000 for furniture, including: Sofa, Coffee table, washer/dryer, refridgerator, assorted kitchen items(dishes, cooking utensils), and maybe a bed, but we’re not sure yet (because we both have beds right now that could be used if need be).

Is there any other pieces of furniture I’m missing? What should our budget be? Also, any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
