I was just at a hotel bar in Spain, I’ve been staying here 10 days. I’ve bought drinks there before. Which were btw disgusting, and the guy is always angry. So there were a lot of people there and I was thinking of buying something but then I decided to just get a thin plastic cup and get something from my friend who had already bought a bottle there. I was going to ask him but he was busy assisting people at the bar, and had been for over 15 minutes. So I grabbed the glass, which was over the counter we were sitting by but it wasn’t low down or anything, they were stacked pretty high. Then I go to walk over to my friend. And the guy, who didn’t even bother to even look at me as I’d been waiting to be served for 15 minutes, stopped helping all the people ordering drinks to yell at me in Spanish. Everyone at the bar turned around to look at me too. He looked super angry and was gesturing for me to come back, and when he started yelling, I was on the other side of the room about to leave. So I start walking back and he keeps yelling at me and takes the plastic cup all angrily and I just walk away.

I’m a guest here, in a room where the air conditioning doesn’t work, paying God knows how much for this hotel room, and paying separately for breakfast. It’s not a fancy new Hotel or anything, all the furniture is old and worn out. He’s seen me many times, he knows I’m a guest. It’s not like they were running out of plastic cups, and even if they were, it’s not even nine yet and everyone’s yet to order so they’ll be in trouble tonight anyway. Is it normal for Hotels to be this cheap?

He really wants to go to this nice restaurant for drinks and dinner, and I figured we’d hit up the gay bar afterwards (its our first time), but I’m wondering if we’ll look a little ridiculous? I don’t plan on talking him out of the fancy restaurant….I give him whatever his heart desires

There was a game that you could download off the internet, but I can’t remember the name. The game was focused on you, as a bartender, and you started out with one bar.

You worked on advertising, making new drinks, buying new things and furniture for your bar, making money and eventually buying another bar and starting the process all over again, this time with another bar, until you’d bought all the bars in the area.

When my computer crashed, I lost the game. Does anyone know what it is called or where to find it???
I don’t think it is diner dash, because it only had to do with a bar (alcoholic beverages, that sort of thing), and the graphics are a little older…

So me and a friend were operating concessions at a church event, and a lot of money was made. So we were thinking if we started a concession stand in the local area, would we make good profit? We have a grill, snow cone machine, popcorn maker, cooler for drinks like in a store, and we were thinking of selling candy too. We have a canopy tent, and tables too. Could we make alot of money from this for our own profit? do we need anything else to get started?

I’ve wanted to start a rock club for ages, but I don’t know what things I’ll need to take into account cost-wise. Obviously there’s rent, staff pay (DJs, bar people, door people, cleaners), drinks, alcohol license, furniture. What else haven’t I thought of?

I just moved in a new place and I’m trying to create a modern design in every single space which is what i always wanted.
Now that I have the money to do so I bought many great products and spent a lot of time choosing colors and styles.
I finally arrived to the kitchen in which I have some extra space so I thought about creating a bar space for morning breakfasts with family or to have few drinks when friends are passing by.

That being said, I need to choose a bar table and some bar stools matching it.
Since I am focused on Modern Designs I went on a website name FineBarStools (http://www.finebarstools.com) which offers a pretty awesome collection of modern furniture.

About the Bar Table, I am actually hesitating between 2 of them :

My concern is one of them really has a bar style and the other is in between dining and bar.
Which one would provide me the coolest style at home?

About the Bar Stools, it’s even worse because to many choices are offer in there …
- Barber Bar Stool (http://www.finebarstools.com/store-products-300160-Barber-Bar-Stool_1097599232.html) : This stool only offers one color (white which will match the colors choose for my bar … black, white, red) but this bar stool seems strong and easy to clean. It’s also a swivel one with a back.
- Butcher Bar Stool (http://www.finebarstools.com/store-products-300280-Butcher-Bar-Stool_1097599277.html) : This one has a great look but it’s a backless bar stool …
- Topsy Bar Stool (http://www.finebarstools.com/store-products-301301-Topsy-Bar-Stool_1097388483.html) : Bar stool with a back, available in black but in leather (so a little harder to clean than the Barber bar stool). However I truly love the design of it.
Should I focus only on the design, should I get backless bar stools to gain space ?
Is the white color a real bad choice since it’s showing dirt easily ?

I had bought her a few drinks and we were having a fun conversation. I just was in the men’s room for 2 minutes and now someone else is in my spot. What do I do?

I was in a well known night club last Saturday,there was a group of about 12.
A drink was spilt,so one of the group ask a member of staff to come clean it up,the bar person came over and wipped down the seat and left the table and floor.
About half hour later i’ve gone to sit on the bar stool which was there,i wasnt quite tall enough so i put my foot on the step to leaver myself onto the stool,Where the bar person hadnt cleaned up the floor after drink was spilt earlier I put my foot straight into the wet patch and slipped went flying over the back of the stool,with the table and all its drinks fell on top of me.
My brother in law then helped me up onto a chair to notice my shoulder was dislocated,
Me,my sister and brother in law left on the way out,my brother in law asked the bouncer if he would call an ambulance,he then refused,which lead me to having to get a taxi with a dislocated shoulder and spending 3 days in hospital and possibly leading to an operation.
Does anyone know where I might stand ??

I was thinking like….a starbucks kinda girl. The one that takes your order and yells it to the people…of course my kinda character would be so unlucky that she’d have to make it herself and spill crap all over the floor….but I need a social environment, she is independent, she needs to see people from school….thinking a local coffee bar or um, whatever you call it sounds good. Like a sorta starbucks place where people sit down on comfy chairs and order drinks or food.

What do you think? I can totally see my character doing that….but if anything else you think is interesting let me know.
yeah i’m not really feeling waitress….my character also has too big of an ego for that….she wouldn’t be able to live with her older brother’s teasing etc.

Oh she’s 17 btw…might start her off as 16 though….dunno.

I was dating a man and recently we broke it off. He introduced me to an old aquaintance of his before we broke up, we ran into each other at the bar Saturday night and he bought drinks for me, pulled out a chair so we could sit together with his friends, and when the bar was closing, he told me to stay because he knew the owner so we had another drink. My question is: He didn’t ask for my number and im just curious if he’s waiting it out to see what happens with my ex, (it was only 2 weeks ago since the break) or is he not interested because he knows my ex. Does that really matter to most men?

Me and my boyfriend will be purchasing a little space in NH on monday. We want to turn it into a cafe/hangout during the day. it would have TVs with xbox hookups and wifi and food and drinks (but all prepackaged we will not be cooking or anything like that just sort of a snack bar muffins that kind of thing)
And then a few nights we would clear out chairs and tables and hold concerts there.
It’s pretty high school/ college age focused. we want it to be the hip hang out spot since there is nothing for kids to do in NH there.

We need a good name!!

I’m visiting Destin Florida August 24th-29th. I never been to Florida or any beaches before, so here’s some stupid questions.
Does the beach have bathroom and restaurant?
Does it have a little bar like in the movie Cocktails (tom cruise)?
Do you have to bring your own umbrella and chair?
Can you bring food and drinks?
And last. Which beach and resort do you recommend for a family with small children?

Okay so my 5 month old pup seems to be getting potty trained but I have never had a puppy so I wanted some input.
At night he can hold his bladder and stool for an easy 8 hours. BUT of course he is sleeping. During the day we usually still take him out about a 1/2 hour after he eats, drinks a ton of water or is very very active running around playing with my cat. Unless he is napping after that. Once he wakes up from a nap at this point we don’t take him out right away but watch for signs. His sign seems to be to walk over to the little 10 foot hallway right off our tv room. We have the kitchen gated off so he can’t go to the other side of the house. So with that being gated off he can’t go to the front or back door as a sign. So if we see him wandering over into the that little hallway quite a bit we take him out. If we don’t that is is secret pee place. He rarely ever has accidents in the house anymore because we take him out probably about 6 times a day. Is this too much??? Or is this normal?
P.S. Also he is a Basset Hound and I heard many many times they can be difficult to housebreak so we are trying to do a REALLY good job so we don’t have issues with him going in the house as an adult. He never poops in the house, which is awesome! He has not done that in a couple of months.
