Noticed on my second set of patio furniture which is less than a week old that I have burn marks on my patio furniture cushions. They are nearly a foot long and bad enough i have to dispose of my cushions. I though my old set someone had accidently spilled grease on them or something and in the sun they melted the fabric as the cushions were old. However in less than a week on my new cushions I noticed on large long burn looking mark at an angle. Then I noticed a few strips of dead or dying grass at the same angle next to the chair. The angle is suggesting a neighbor who we don’t talk to but have had issues with on noise complaints is spraying them. They would have to shoot the stuff about 25 feet or more over their fence. Don’t want to point fingers but its scary as I have small children and its very odd. Any suggestions or advice or what this chemical burn could be from?

I purchased an outdoor resin wicker patio set and it is unravelling. It is just over 1 year old. I would like to know where to purchase binding to replace the cracking binding. I will not be able to use the furniture without repairing the binding. Please help. I spent a lot of money on this set and am very disappointed as the manufacturer will not honor the warranty saying it was only rusting and fabric that they cover.

I really want to get some new cushions, where can I go to have them done if I give them fabric and dimensions?

How do you upholster a wing back chair? how difficult is it? how many yards of fabric? what kind of (cheaper) fabric should i use?

I really prefer not to use bleach. Does anyone have a non-bleach method of getting mold off patio cushions? They are vinyl, not fabric. Thanks.
If mold doesn’t grow outside, then I guess I’m asking for help removing whatever moldy-looking green substance is covering my lawn furniture.

I have a brown leather sofa and a beige fabric oversized chair/ottoman. What type/color slipcover should I get for the fabric chair so that they’ll match?

The only framing is on the perimeter of the bottom of the chair. There are only springs and fabric in between that.

I have 3 boys who are very messy. They tend to get something (ketchup, juice, anything that typically stains) on their seats at every meal. I want to reupholster my dining room chairs with something that is easy to clean and will last a few years with daily use. I have no idea what kind of fabric to use. Please help. Thanks.

Not the actual cushions, but the velvety micro fiber fabric that zippers over the actual foam cushion. My stupid dogs had a mud party on my brand new couch and before it dries in, I figured I can wash it.

I have 2 white cats who seem to think these chairs are for their comfort. Can’t deal with the hair on my new chairs. Also, their claws might make a pull in the fabric. I am hoping someone has a solution that won’t stain the fabric that really works! Not foil, double sided tape, or sticky paws.

I have a vintage sectional sofa. The fabric is something like polyester but it is really slick so the cushions slide around all the time. There are three sections and three cushions. The couch has no arms so the cushions can slide right off if I sleep or lounge on the couch. I rotate the cushions so that I don’t wear them out so I don’t want to glue on velcro or anything. There has to be a way to fix this.
The couch is very slippery. It’s like those awful 80′s taffeta bridesmaid gowns.

I don’t want to spoil the backs of my new leather chairs with hair grease, but how can I stop the fabric chair backs from slipping off?

I have a couple of cushioned kitchen chairs that have food stains on them. I’ve tried a couple of basic cleaners, but that made the fabric fade a bit. What would be the best option to remove the stains? Thanks.

I recovered my chairs in the kitchen and my kids wipe things such as mustard, ketchup and many other things on my chairs. I spend hours taking the chairs apart and uncovering them, washing them and then putting them back together. What is an easier way to get them clean and have a chair that doesn’t have hard crusty fabric leftover? It gets frustrating constantly cleaning them.

I covered the staind up chairs I have in the kitchen. Well my 4 yr old likes to wipe his sticky hands on my chairs. How can I get the fabric clean without having to take all the chairs apart and take the fabric off and stick them in the washing machine? When I do that my time could average about 4 hours just unscrewing the chairs and putting them back on after washing them. It consumes way to much time and makes for a lot of frustration.
