The corner of my kitchen cabinets are open for baskets to be put in. I need wicker or rattan baskets around 20 by 12. I have checked bed, b , and beyond, Pier 1, Ikea, Target, Walmart, and Pottery Barn. Anyone know an online store with something similar? Thanks!

I have an oak table from Ikea that I want to paint or stain black to match the decor in my home. It has a glossy finish to it. I looked up Krylon paints but there were several options. I don’t have a whole lot of space to do this. I would be taking the table and chairs outside to my small patio. Any info would help, thanks!

I bought an Ikea Snille swivel chair, but I have problem assemble it. The hard part is the middle rod, it is contracted and seems as if rusted inside, I don’t have the strength to rotate the two part relatively, both with and without the seat on, so the seat height can not be raised. Can you help me, any body has experience? Thanks a lot!

Okay, I don’t think I explained myself very well earlier. By high end, I mean high quality with lots of room for custom fabrics and materials, etc. Target never works because you are limited by what is premade.

I’m so excited! My mom said I could decorate my room in a new way, and I decided on a movie theater theme!
I have a Mac computer so I can play movies on there. I was thinking of painting my walls dark red with maybe silver and gold stripe or polka dots. I would get one of those candy cabinets that are see-though and put a bunch of different candy bars and use that as my desk. My computer would be on top of that.
I wanted to print up a bunch of movie posters from old-fashioned movies and the actors in them in black and white around my room. I was thinking of maybe getting a frame that has a border like a roll of film or movie tickets and putting the pictures and posters in there. My mom said that while she was at Ikea while I was at school (can’t find this on the website) that there was this huge picture of the Eiffel Tower with a glass frame and little lights around it like in the dressing rooms in movies.
I have a mini popcorn machine I could put in my room and I might get a mini Icee machine and Target or something, too.

Okay- my kids dream rooms are getting out of hand budget wise. They both want a *beauty bar.* AKA vanity table. I already got mirrors that go with their themes and chairs. I have looked all over for white tables (even on the internet) that aren’t too costly- but even the cheaper ones have terrible shipping cost.
I always see those tables in magazines that are mounted to the wall. Anyone know where I can find white ones- not too pricey?

*We don’t have an Ikea anywhere close – and the shipping is crazy to this state.*

Any other ideas if you don’t know where to buy those?

My Husband and I just bought our first home. We set aside plenty of money for upgrades. At this point after paint/ Appliances / Fixtures / Furniture we are at 2000$ left over.
Problem 1: Our Kitchen is super small. We have a total of 8 Cabinets. After much inspection of the current cabinets we’ve learned the pervious owner must have had custom cabinets because it looks like only the Cabinet face (Door and trim) are actual cabinets the rest is stained ply wood. Problem 2: Home depot and Loews both said they couldn’t work with us because their cabinets will not fit in the current lay out. Problem 3: We have two bi-fold (Fake) Closet doors that hold the washer and dryer and Water heater and furnace. I know if we take those out that would allow for much more space to work with. There is no other place to put the Water heater, Washer, dryer besides the garage. Our kitchen is in desperate need of a remodel! What can we do? We can’t afford to hire a contractor to do this. HELP!
Besides IKEA. We’ve tried there and just like their picture frames Their cabients come in THEIR sizes! That was a complete waste of time trying to go through them!
We’ve thought about replacing the doors but the cabinets are such ODD sizes we can’t find doors to fit. Custom doors are very expensive

My husband and I went to IKEA yesterday to get some ideas. We found A LOT of things we want and I was wondering if anyone has any furniture from IKEA? What do you have? Do you love it or hate it? What do you like or dislike about it?

We are thinking about using IKEA for our kitchen re-do as well as a family room and bedroom.

i just got a new apartment. its a 2 bdroom 1 bath with a small kitchen and one bedroom is just a computer room. i live with my boyfriend and we have 2 flat screens and lots of video game stuff ect ect. we also have 2 cats that like to scratch our couches. but they never seem to get any more torn up then they already are.

I kinda don’t like their quality.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, some of them are actually durable and long-lasting but a lot of them (if not most of them) you have to assemble yourself, they break and just don’t last long…

But you know, I like the whole modern "Swedish/Scandinavian" style furniture and all that…

Provided money wasn’t an issue, where else (besides IKEA) in America can I find Scandinavian style furniture (bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, etc.) that’s durable and last long?

We have picked up a design for our kitchen from IKEA. We have also picked up a granite counter from another store. Do you have any idea how much it costs to instal the cabinets and the counter? The cabinets are around 00. Also has anyone had bad experience with IKEA kitchen cabinets? I have bad experience with their desks, cheap wooden furniture but don’t know about theyr kitchens. Thanks

I’m moving into an unfurnished apartment in a couple of months and I was wondering if there were any stores that had good furniture that was relatively inexpensive. I don’t mind paying a little more for good quality but I have a budget of about 00 to get a sofa, night stand, pub table/chairs, bookcase, and coffee table. I’ve already looked at IKEA and their furniture looks decent, but I was wondering if there were any other stores out there.
