let me first start off by saying that im a 21 year old girl. Within the past two years, i was struggling with depression and a family member was very sick. My ex bf was abusive and cheated on me, so there for within those 2 years.. i ended up sleeping with 4 of my best guy friends- over the course of two years. and withone of them i had a threesome. I was turned off to the idea.. but i was trashed and felt like i was talked into it. i take full responsibility of my actions- i feel terrible about them. All of those guys ended up telling a mass amount of people and whenever they see that im dating someone.. they go and tell the person im dating about my past mistakes. There is no hiding or escaping from it, i feel trapped. In februrary i dated a boy named John and there is this kid that is friends with all my guy friends, named Nick. Nick went out of his way to tell John about the threesome and how i slept with those 4 guys. The kid stopped dating me, immediatly. I was crushed… Now ive moved on since then and am seeing a guy named Jack. Where non exclusive. i care about him so much. There was another guy that was interested in me named Matt. Well the other night when i went to the bar, both matt and Jack were at the bar. Matt was hitting on me infront of jack and it felt great because for once in this whole thing, i felt like i had the upper hand. they were both jealous of eachohter. They were rapped around my finger. Well it just so happens that that obnoxious heartlesss exscuse for a human being, Nick just got a job the other day at the ba rand he was there as well. The thing these 3 boys have in common with eachother is that they all went to the same high scool. Both Matt and Jack were the most popular guys in ghih school. And Nick was picked on, so when i went to the bathroom, Nick must have wanted an exscuse to talk to them- so he pulled them both aside and informed them of my threesome and my sexual past. They all looked at me in disgust. I literally started crying. They all told me they didnt wanna see me any more. I was horrified.. No matter what i do, i cant escape my past. And if you ask me- i dont see what the big deal is. Yea so i hooked up with 4 guys in the same group of friends- over a course of 2 years- get over it already, i didnt kill any body. So then Jack was outside smoking a cigarette and i was outside too. My friend Meagan was so drunk she fell ontop of me and pushed me on into the metal furniture outside. This was an epic fall, and everyone asked me if i needed an abulance, Jack just looked embaressed for me, and went inside the bar… Im HUMILIATED. i dont know how to fix this.. how do i handel things like this . its just so unfair.

This company is well known in the community and advertises at Whitecaps games. It doesn’t matter how many times I call, or who I talk to, We still have a very expensive sunroom that leaks when it rains for over a year now. This job initially was to take 6 weeks. It took a year and a half. We have had numerous other issues also, that are too numerous to get into here. We have been dealing with this for 3 years or so. I feel like they think I will just go away, but I won’t! There is a 25 year warranty, and we can’t even get something fixed now. Any suggestions? Please help!

It is hard to find a decent paying job though, unless you have a degree or certification.
I lost my job with Value City Furniture because of business going down and after 9 years I am back to what I started out at as now the minimum wage!

I am giving a wicker chair a touch up job but I am unsure what product to use. Should I use lacker? Oil? Stain? Varnish? What kind of finish do I need for RATTAN?

Recently, actually about 5 years ago, my 20 year old son ripped out our sagging deck. Unfortunately, he never finished the job. Now we have a square section of small gardening stones. It looks horrible. My husband refuses to do anything about it because money is kinda tight. If you have any suggestions, or any ideas of where we could find cheap patio furniture ( like a chaise? ) that would be great!

I’ve overheard this in a Bar – that they are willing to expand into a country which I know well and which I speak the language of. I presume they were employees of the company. I really would want to hop on the train to be honest, with the current job-climate and all. But I don’t know how to go about. Should I just send an e-mail to the Development Manager explaining that I have experience over there and that I could be of help ? Any suggestions are welcomed

I watch TV shows all the time and constantly wonder if non-parents (lack of a better word) think if that’s what parenting or pregnancy is really like.

For example:

On ER you see woman have children, work and go about life as if the child had never came into their life.

On One Tree Hill there is a case of teen pregnancy where these kids (mind you only one has a job at a restaurant) live in a lavish home with really great furniture and accessories.

Even on "Everybody Loves Raymond" there are points where you see the kids and it doesn’t even seem like the adult characters seem to notice they are there.

While of course these things do happen sometimes (in real life) that people have everything *great* it’s not really a common occurrence.

Do you feel almost all TV series convey parenting as glorious and not necessarily on a realistic level?

How do you think these shows effect soon-to-be parents and/or people considering to become a parent?

As part of a "B" list festival like Zydeco? I learned classical but don’t really want to do it anymore. I’ve played for 17 years and am sick of my job. Unfortunately I quit after 14 years took it up again 3 years ago after about a decade. I am decent, but not on ‘the list ‘yet. I play back up and between sets for free for now with well known groups and to warm up events ( or make them throw up haha) but hope to be up to par in 3 years or so. I was 1st chair 4-12 grade and continued private for a while into college I don’t pretend to be a genius but I do get asked frequently to play. Don’t want to make a living, just play and make some extra money

Please read my story for school. The first paragraph is the main idea of the story. The second is is part of my story, which I need help on. It needs to be descriptive…and well I’m not good at descriptive stories. Please help. Any ideas are welcomed

The Scarecrow
Luke recently broke up with his long -time girlfriend and lost his job. He’s really unhappy and life isn’t going as planned. He goes to a bar in self-pity. Wasted and longing for a friend to tell all his issues to, he starts talking to the bartender. The woman on the bar stool a few seats down overhears and they start up a conversation. She introduces herself as Miranda. By the end of the night, they exchange phone numbers and plan to meet in the future. After a few days they make plans to go out. They have a good time and make plans for another date. He begins to really like her, and she gains his trust. After a while she starts to act weird. She’s not as talkative and she’s always unavailable. She seems stressed and far away, mentally. When they meet again, she has a bandaged hand that she keeps quiet about (It’s from clearing out the corn field- which the reader knows about). After a few days she goes back to her normal self, happy and cheerful (after she had her sacrifice plan worked out). He thinks nothing of it. For one of their dates, they plan to watch a meteor shower, a pastime Luke really enjoys. She tells him the best place to view it is on the hill overlooking the corn field, a few miles outside her home. They park the car and start walking. They get to the top of a hill and they set their blanket down, and she hands him a beer (drugged). They drink, talk and wait for the shower to start. He feels woozy and passes out. He awakes on a wooded scarecrow post in the corn field below. He has a hard time focusing and staying awake. Miranda is sharping a knife while 3 other people stand around her. They are all singing something quietly (chant). Knowing he is in danger, he screams out but it only comes out as a squeak. Hearing this, Miranda looks up at him with a hellish smile and a demonic gleam in her eyes. She laughs and slits his throat. She leaves him on the post and dresses him as scarecrow, left for people to find him. She moves on to the next town and next victim

And everything went dark.
I came back to consciousness slowly. I weakly opened my eyes and tried to focus them. My surroundings appeared blurry. However, I could tell that I was upright. I blinked my eyes furiously. I could see the faint outline of figures in the dark. A shine of metal caught my attention. The full moon reflected on in it and gave off a shimmer of light as it moved, slowly back and forth. I started to drift off again, but I forced myself to stay awake. My vision came in a little clearer and I could make out the tall corn stalks. My numbness was wearing off. I could feel my arms resting on something to the side of my body, but my hands were not in contact with anything. I groped the air and I made contact with a damp wooded board. Then the adrenalin kicked in. I frantically racked my brain for some information that would help me remember where I was. I opened my mouth to scream. Nothing came out but a squeak. Miranda appeared in front of me. I could see her outline and her piercing green eyes. They shone with a demonic gleam. A hellish smile appeared on her face and she laughed. It was soft and deep. It penetrated the unnerving quietness of the night. It chilled me to the core. As I saw a meteor pass the sky, she slit my throat.

i live in California and i am thinking about getting into the restaurant business. i know most restaurants fail so save it. i am thinking of opening a Mexican type restaurant since there is a very rich population of Latinos living in the area where i want to open it, i want to know a rough estimate of licensing cost etc… appliances renovations stock etc etc also i have a friend that everyone and i mean everyone likes her food they always order to go when they go to her house lol so i will be acquiring her recepies. i have worked in retail before, furniture actually so i have experience but i know restaurants are a whole different story. i am willing to find a job at a local joint to gain more experience . i know you have to be passionate and like what your doing and yes i am very passionate about owning my own restaurant etc etc and also i have been to local places around town they have horrible service food not that great so im thinking if i open a place with great food customer service and prices you know customer comes first etc etc it will flourish i am fresh out of high school and very interested in having my own business so should i take any courses in college business management or anything please any suggestions are welcome. also tell me if you think this is the right career path in your opinion. thanks

I work at big lots unfortunately as a furniture salesman i do A LOT of work and get paid 25 cents above minimum wage. My check come out to be around 150$ a week……
My friend who worked as a bus boy said he would get 150$ in two days. That sounds a lot better than making 150 in 5 days…

If I were to find a job at a nice restaurant and quit my big lots would i make more waitering?

Just Doing Their Job
The police were just doing their job. When someone called 911, then hung up, the police went to that location to see if there was a problem. It turns out that it was a motel where two drug dealers were staying in different rooms. One tried to call the other one in room 119, but dialed 911 by mistake.

Better Not Plan On Being a Career Criminal
A 17-year-old broke into an office furniture store to steal some items. He spent five hours there, doing what?? Well, for one thing, he tried to sell some stolen property using the store’s computer. He also viewed pornography. But the thing that gave him away was that he logged into his MySpace account. That didn’t make it hard for the police to identify him.

No report on whether or not he bragged about his caper on MySpace.

Dressed for Success, Not
A guy was arrested when he was apprehended after fleeing from a routine traffic stop. It turns out that he was wanted for bank robbery.

When he complained of stomach pain and lost consciousness, he was admitted to a hospital. He must have felt better because he walked out of the hospital and went into a bar. But he forgot to get dressed first. The bar owner called the police when he arrived in a hospital gown with the intravenous needle still in his arm.

The reception is not formal and set in a rustic building. I want to use (2) ten gallon water cooolers, like you see on job sites or at ball games to serve iced tea and punch. However, I do not want to just leave them as they are, ugly yellow and organe lids. ANyone have any ideas? The wedding colors are that of fall (purple, green, orange…etc).
