Banana peels fact or fiction?

Okay, im at a major crossroad in my existance. This answer could prove futile to the realm in which i currently reside.

I watch tv, so I know how banana peels are supposed to work.

Ive put peels on the roads, no cars ever slip, they just crush my peels.
Ive put peels on the carpet, no avail,(Mom was super pissed)
ive put peels in the shower.
Ive put peels on the kitchen bar stools
ive put peels on the toilet

I seem to just keep getting in trouble and im grounded now, so I have time to think this one thorugh, but no luck.

What am i doing wrong, I get yelled at but no one slips, ever. Is this banana peel thing real? If so what am i doing wrong.

Please help:(

I am getting a little fed ups with my 15 year old son. I keeps walking in on him doing innapropriate things to various pieces of our living rooms furniture. It’s happened on numerous occasions…the shower curtains, the window sills, the kitchen bar stools. Pretty much you name it, he has "been with" it. Yesterday I caught him with his pants down trying to stick "himself" in a small hole on our couch cushion. Is this a case of boys just being boys or does he need professional help? I also worry about company coming over and catching him up to his normal shenanigans. I would be mortified if, for example, he did something innapropriate with an overnight guest’s luggage!
