one stool rocks slightly from side to side on your kitchen floor. which of the two stools could this possibly be? explain why this might occur?

I ask this because My dog has a tape worm that is coming out in pieces in her stool and from her butt hole.

We found worms tonight on her butt, in her mouth, on the kitchen floor, on her dog pillow, on our couches and on our blankets. (We are currently cleaning the heck out of the house with bleach etc.)

We are further concerned because even though I live at my Mom’s house currently and I am NOT touching the dog, I am 9 months pregnant.

1.) Will the tape worm come out quickly?
2.) Will it continue to come out in HUGE pieces after she gets the medicine?
3.) Should I go live with my sister for the time being because I am 9 months pregnant?

I really dont know what im asking but ill explain. I bought a chihuahua on march 10th the people gave me a puppy pack which had a little heart worm pill in it kinda like his shot record and reg. application. i bought the type of food that they told me he had been eating. when i took him home he seemed fine he didnt eat much but he drank water and he was a little active. he chased my little girl through the house it was cute. well i went through papers and seen that his was born on jan. 18th 2009 and he had already had his 6 wks shots but there was no name written down as to who the vet was. next day he was a little less active and still not really eating, and i noticed he was having soft stool almost diareaha and spitting up like a newborn baby does so i tried to call the number for the lady i purchased him from and # disconected. on the 3rd day the 12th my little girl dropped him on the hard kitchen floor. omg i was so scared. he hit on his side and i held him a min. then put him down to make sure he was walking fine. a few hours passed and he still seemed fine but with the other prob. of not eating i said im bringing him to the local animal hospital. i went there and told them everything she said he has fleas which is making him anemic which i had made an apt to go to a vet on the 27th of march to get shots and to treat fleas and then she said his blood sugar low and never mentioned anything about him falling just stayed stuck on the fleas. they gave him a capstar checked his poo and gave him a cerenia injection which i did not understand most of what the lady was saying. she said to go to vet next day. so i bombed my house for fleas next day and took him to a vet he was still vomiting and soft stool. vet really didnt communicate with me much either but he check his poo again looked him over i gave him paperwork from the animal hospital gave him another cerenia injection and a droncit injection and some recovery rs food and told me to litterly force feed him with this dropper thing and gave him frontline plus. he said bring him back on 27th for other shots. im like confused really bc i dont know what wrong with my puppy and now he is constantly sleeping not walking around much or playing he finally drank water by himself today though he just dont seem right ya know. and he stoped vomiting until today he vomited clear liquid up a few times today. march 16th. which i know im gonna call vet tommorow and be like hey he still sick. but idk. can anyone help me and explain anything to me. i am so worried bc he just seem sad. his tale has not wagged since 1st day it stays between his legs. thanks.

I know my question probably made me sound snobby and ignorant, but if you’re still interested keep reading: This is one of my VERY best friends, and I want to feel comfortable when I go over to her house. It’s just so unsanitary and an eyesore. Her dog (a westie) isn’t housebroken. And even though my friend and her family have absorbent sheets for the dog to use, Roxie (dog’s name) goes wherever she pleases. And the things is, my friend’s family sometimes don’t clean up after her. Which definitely makes a difference over time. I’m super sorry if this sounds gross, but tend to be little pieces of stool on the floors. Then there’s the vomit stains (from the dog) on the carpet, and odor near the garage and kitchen. The kitchen floor looks like it hasn’t seen a mop in years. Plus, the house has dead bugs lying around. Now I know that I can’t expect everyone’s house to be sparkling – mine isn’t either. But I just want to enjoy spending the night at my friend’s house instead of feeling disgusted. When I take a step in to the home, I would like to take a step back out. I really do not want to hurt my friend’s feeling by saying anything…I’m not sure what to do.

Any advice? Has anyone been in this kind of situation before?

Well it all started when i was 11 first my grandma started to beat me because me and my cousin where talking about how she would beat on our great grandma. Then a couple weeks ago me dad nearly killed me by beating me and holding my head over the stairs and now im a couple of weeks away from sending him to jail! today my mom got mad at me for asking her to do my hair. That’s all i did was ask her to do my hair and then she grabbed me by my shirt and pulled me up and started spitting in my face and calling me bad words. I could go on and on but i just want to get to the point im only 12 and she thinks my life is a breeze just because im in middle school. She has no idea what goes on in my life because she never lets me talk to her and when i do try to talk to her she gets mad. She’s trying to drive me crazy. Oh yeah i asked her what the difference is between a chair and i stool because she told me to sit down on the chair and i took the stool because it was closer and of coure she yelled at me and called me worthless and threw me all over the kitchen floor (i actually mean she was throwing me around the kitchen floor). I would report her but i have no where else to go. And every time she beats me or calles me names i always wonder why couldent my dad have killed me because thats all i ever think about. I keep trying to kill myself but i know that hell is whay worse than earth and i just dont see why i have to go through all of this. My 16 year old sister has ran away 6 times and she actually told my mom that she hates her and my mom still treats her better than me when im the on that gets all the good grades and studies my butt of just to make her pround but i never do. So back to the point what should i do because if i even think about talking to her privatly she would kill me. I have a huge head ache right now and im hoping that she doesent come in here and ale my lap top away. Speaking of laptops she forced my to give he my password and now she can take it when ever she wants but i cant take her 50 cent tape. She didnt bye the laptop so i dont see why she has the right to take it. So what should i do im thinking about going outside and wating for someone to kidnap me because then it wont be suicide . Pleas egive me some ideas before i have to d it myself. Sorry this question is so long its just that ive been waiting a whole year to get all of this off my chest. Its a shame that i feel safer at school than at home becasue there people actually love me.

About 11 months ago, we got a new kitten, and she just recently turned on year old. Sunday morning, we had accidentally left her out all night (she’s strictly an inside house cat, BTW), and she had gotten into some Fudge Rounds. I had just woken up and one package was completely open, with a Fudge Round on the other side of the kitchen. Like I said, I had just woken up, so I don’t really remember if there was chunk missing from it or what, but anyway, she was doing fine throughout the whole day. She acted like normal, and we put her in her cage on Sunday night. The next morning, she had had a bowel movement in her cage, and we let her out, and she didn’t act right. She went into the kitchen, threw up, got a drink of water, and then jumped on top of the kitchen chairs and slept until we had to leave for school/work and we put her in her cage, where she had made another bowel movement in. This time, it didn’t look right. It was a mixture between soft and hard. That night, she had thrown up twice, both had a little bit of a pink/yellow tint to them, and then she had two bowel movements on the kitchen floor and they were extremely watery. One even looked like it had blood in it. Which, I barely thought about since she has had blood in her stool before, and it never bothered her, it just seemed like a normal type of thing for her. BTW, her three siblings died within months of being born. She then started going to the litter box to make bowel movements, but it was still extremely runny and watery, but she stopped vomiting. After last night, I haven’t seen her make a bowel movement at all, nor throw up, but she still occasionally takes a drink of water, which is good so she doesn’t dehydrate, but she still refuses to eat. She’ll also stretch and want to be petted a bit now before falling asleep, but she still looks week, and it scares me that she hasn’t had a bowel movement in a while. We’ve already decided to take her up to the vet if she doesn’t get better by tomorrow.

Today he threw a complete fit and I walked in in the middle. He’s broken doors, walls, furniture, etc when he gets mad. It’s really scary because he’s 18 and he’s been working out since jr high so he’s really strong.
So I guess he and my mom were in a fight and I called her in the middle to give me ride home from school (I don’t have a car, and right now I don’t really want to walk) and on the way he called and my mom was driving so I answered her phone for her. He blew up at me and hung up. He called about 6 times and kept hanging up, then the phone died. We had to get gas for the car then we came home. He was laying on the kitchen floor, furniture everywhere kicking the washer. Then he just started blaming me for everything and saying things like I’m the stupid b**** who causes the problem because I wouldn’t put my mom on the phone (but he was the one hanging up, and my mom even tried calling him but he wouldn’t answer). My mom started crying and went in the other room and he just attacked me. He pushed me into the fridge and was twisting my arms until my mom said she was going to call the cops. Then he left for a wile.
This is just one story, but he’s like a lot and he almost always blames me for everything, and even when he’s being…nice? he calls me stupid b**** and stuff like that. He’s really only nice to me when he wants something, like to use my computer or things like that, and if i say no he gets mad at me. I think that’s the way he really feels, his being nice is just an act.
My other brother who’s in college takes medicine for being bipolar. Do you think my other brother is too? Even if he is, and he starts taking medication too, I still think he hates me, but I don’t know why. Even when he’s happy he’s still rude to me only instead of swearing and yelling at me, he and his friends are making fun of me (and not just joking around and having fun).
I don’t know, I just get annoyed being in fights with him all the time, and he never apologizes or anything ever, he always just blames me, even when (like in the story) I have no idea what’s going on.

I woke up earlier than usual this morning and had a irresistable urge to ‘nest’ all ive been doing all day is washing & hanging out babys clothes, vacuuming, dusting/polishing, re-arranging things, folding clothes, moving small furniture around, cleaned the whole bathroom with disinfectants, mopped the kitchen floor and then baked some apple and cinnamin muffins and made myself something to eat (doing the dishes afterwards of corse )

I dont feel worn out, sore or tired but is this over-doing it? Im 22 weeks pregnant.

I’m living in a rental property that has 2 of the bedrooms infested with mold that has grown on furniture and walls, kitchen floor cave in, ceiling is leaking when it rain, and no ac. Landlord still want rent. What shall I do when the landlord seen all of my furniture mess up.

I got a puppy a few months ago, Kiko and I’m afraid he may be learning some bad habits from my older dog, D.W. D.W. always eats off the kitchen floor, steers clear of sewage drains on walks, leaps on the furniture, and sneaks food out of trashcans. My puppy has been picking up on some off the habits, he always watches her. In the end, does he look to his fellow dogs for guidance, or me? Please help, and thanks in advance.

I’m having the living room carpets replaced. And I’ll clean the kitchen floor. Those are the only 2 rooms that flooded. I’ll throw away damaged belongings, furniture. But do things that didn’t even get wet have to be disinfected too?

I knew a family whose *basement* flooded, but somewhere mold grew on their dishes UPSTAIRS. My flood was nowhere near as bad and the water receeded quickly but still…?

What should I do to make sure it’s clean and disinfected here?

Last week my dog Buster (6 year old yorkiepoo) was diagnosed with a bulging disk in his lower back. The vet gave him some prednisone and some other anti-inflammatory pills. Then he started pooping out bloody stools and just blood. So the vet put him on some medicine to help with that. Two nights ago Buster really started to act like he was getting better and was actually eating again and able to lay down and get back up without crying in pain. Then last night my parents woke up to piles of blood and puke on the kitchen floor. Buster is now in the doggy hospital for the night. I just want to know if anyone is a vet tech or something and if you can tell me what to expect. Is he going to be ok? We just had to put our other dog down a few months ago due to old age and I can’t even imagine losing him! Please I would like some positive encouragement. I’m practically bawling my eyes out now just typing this. Thank you!!

I have a 10 month old female rottweiler, and she is scared of objects like bikes, and things that make a lot of noise. She gets scared when i drag the kitchen chair on the kitchen floor. She is also scared of the ocean and the big waves. But the funny thing is when someone comes into my house she barks, but I don’t know if she would do anything to protect me. I guess she realy doesn’t need to do anything, just being a rottweiler that bars is enough. Will continueing to showing her things like bikes, and the ocean help calm her fears? And how do I get her to stop being so nervous?

Water was leaking into the basement in a couple of spots. I worked on toilet for 2 hours, purchased a toilet snake, not able to resolve problem. Had to call in a plumber (0)
-Carpet damage in living room this carpet was 3 months old when you moved in and had been cleaned. There was a large cluster of snags in the middle of the living room. Although I cannot repair the carpet to what was, I did “patch” as best I could and sealed snags ().

They had a two-year deal, I left after the first year. My security deposit is essentially a year overdue. I just want to know for future reference.
My contract was a year. The other six tenants signed two (2) one-year contracts and made an agreement with the landlord to pay the damages after the second year.

I have a male kitten, 5 months old, NEUTERED (2 months ago), INDOORS ONLY, and we have one other kitten (7 month old female, spayed at the same time).

I don’t know what to do about this little guy. His name is Harley. I love him to death. But I don’t know what to do about him. We got him from our vet at about 8 weeks old. She said her husband (a contractor) found him and his sister at a building site when they were about 2-3 days old. She nursed them back to health and her pet cat, who’d just had kittens, nursed Harley and his sister until 6 weeks old. She said he was up to date on all vaccines and dewormed.

He’s always been a very aggressive little booger. We thought when we got him neutered, he’d calm down…. so very wrong we were. He’s like the energizer bunny from hell, and MEAN. He’ll be all nice and purring one second and then randomly start attacking you the next. He’s just about done teething. One of his top pointy teeth has already grown in, but the babytooth hasn’t fallen out yet. He has plenty of soft toys to chew on and I put ice cubes in his water so soothe his gums.

Basically, around Aug 8th (friday), he started to calm down. We were excited! lol Then the next day, he started acting really sleepy and stand-offish. Then Sunday, Aug 10th, I woke up and there was a puddle of what appeared to be pee on the kitchen floor. It was weird b/c he’s never once had an accident outside of his box. While I was cleaning it up, I noticed that it was all slimy and smelled rancid. We took him to the vet. They said he had either giardia or coxidia (sp?), so they treated him for both. We gave him all of his meds until they were gone and kept him quarantined for a week from our other cat. He was 100% better a week later. His stools have been normal looking ever since. About 3 days ago, we noticed he has the runs again. Not nearly as bad as before (and all in his box this time). But I don’t know why he’s sick again. Could it be from teething? We switched him from Purina to Iams about the same time as he started getting sick again. I thought it was from changing foods, but our other kitten is fine. I know he tries to eat our people food sometimes (and usually succeeds). He could very well have gotten into something I left on the counter.

He’s playing like normal and eating and drinking just fine. He still goes poo and pee, but it’s more mushy than normal. Should I wait a few more days to see if it will pass, or pay another arm and leg to have the vet see him again (over 0 to fix him up when he had the parasite).
Maybe I should add….. he murdered a stink bug the day before he got sick. He pounced it till it was immobile and then ate it haha. Could that have anything to do with it?

He’s a tabby/bengal mix, more tabby though.
I give my cats dry Iams food and I get them a can of wet food once a week when I go to the grocery store. He’s not on the one that the vet recommended. I give my KITTENS KITTEN food that has the nutrients they need to grow strong. They are strong. They gobble their food right up.
Toast– oh my gosh…. he plays in the bathtub right after I get done showering…. Could that really make him sick?! =(
