I had an appt yesterday at 38w 2d. I was still 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced as I was the previous week. My doctor tried to strip my membranes, but said that she couldn’t get to it because the baby’s head was so high. She predicted that I had another week left.

I had a very little bit of bloody mucos last night and slept for like 12 hours. I had a few contractions off and on throughout the night, but nothing regular or out of the ordinary from what I’ve had the last few weeks.

This morning I am super, super crampy. I just started timing contractions, so I’m not sure if they are regular yet, but I don’t think they are even contractions. Nothing in my back, only in my lower abdomen, just like really bad menstral cramps. My tummy is getting tighter with each one and I have the urge to hold my breath through them, but this is not how I remember contractions with my first daughter 2 1/2 years ago. I’ve had loose stools a few times this morning, but that is nothing out of the oridinary either since I’ve pretty much had loose stools for the past 4 or 5 weeks.

I’ve had a few bouts of false labor with this pregnancy and when I change my position, the contractions always go away. That has not been the case this morning. I had them laying in bed, while cleaning the kitchen, going to the bathroom, sitting on the couch. These just keep coming.

Has anyone ever had this after a failed attempt to strip your membranes? I don’t feel like this is the real thing but want to hear other’s experiences. Thanks.

I have just taken in a new cat who is a year and a half old and at first she seemed fine but tonight she has had blood in her stool, this was not just a little bit of blood it was quite a bit, so i changed the litter tray and have seperated her from my other 2 cats until i can get her to the vets tomorrow, i just went in to check on in the kitchen and i found a small pool of blood on the floor about the size of a golf ball from looks like it has come from her bum as she has a bit of blood there still. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be? as i am really worried.

I’m shrinking?

In my adult life, I’ve always been 5 feet 0 inches exactly. This morning I had a doctor’s appointment and measured 4 feet 11 3/4 inches. Should I be worried? I can’t afford to lose the little bit of height that I have. This would be funny if it were happening on a sitcom. Now how am I supposed to reach the stuff on the top shelf? I already feel silly having to keep a step stool in the kitchen. Just once I’d light to be able to change a light bulb without having to ask a bf or neighbor.

Yes, I know that I should have asked the doctor, but I forgot.

How do I start A Bar/Restaraunt?

Just trying to get some info on how to actually start a Bar/Restaurant. I already know how to get the liquer liscense and what the cost is. I just need so info on finances and what kind of places you go to get the appliances and furniture. I’d like to start a little bar that also sells a little bit of food.

50 lb dog has loose stools ever since she got into a little bit of epson salts. This has been going on for a couple of weeks. Not sick at all, just loose stools.

What did I do to my foot?

Yesterday I was at a restaurant and I was sitting on one of those tall bar stool chairs. Well underneath, to step down, you had to step on a little bar on the bottom of the chair. The bar was very thin and made out of metal. Well anyway when I stepped on it I put it right on my arch of my foot and put all my weight on it and the pain shot through my foot. I thought I was going to cry! I was also limping a little bit but then it got bearable to walk on it again. Now, today, whenever I touch the arch of my foot it kills and it is really sore. There is also a little bit of inflammation and it looks like a vain is popping out a little. So does anyone know what’s wrong with my foot. 10 points to best answer!
