I bought them in 1971, so they have lasted a long time.
At six dollars a hole, it just costs too much to have them recaned. Is there any way I could put padded backs in the chairs. I need a good idea from someone who has had this problem.

so a couple nights ago i had this dream about this guy my friend likes. i used to like the guy a couple years ago but then i didnt see him since then and now i have two classes with him. i didnt think that i like him again, and i dont want to bc im afriad it will ruin my freindship with my friend who likes him. this is the dream:

i walked into language arts, where he sits behind me and next to my friend who likes him. my friend wanted me to tell him that she liked him for her while she went to the bathroom. so as soon as she left i passed him a note on my agenda that said " (my friends name) likes u". he didnt relpy at first so i wrote "soooo????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

and he said "im in love." and said "yay! im so happy 4 u and (my friends name)"

he took a LONG time writing and finally passed back my agenda and he had drawn a huge picture of hearts that had our names in it. i relplied "what?" and he just drew another picture like that 1st one.

then, he wrote "so will u b mine?" and i said "idk"

and he said "i really like u and ur the prettiest girl ive ever seen and i knew i liked u the second u walked in the room on the 1st day of school and i wish i had asked u out when u sed u liked me 2 years ago but i guess i lost my chance"

and i replied "i feel the same way about you and whenever im around u i feel so excited but shes one of my best friends and she wanted me to set u and her up and i dont want her to be mad at me"

and then he said "just in case u change ur mind just please give me ur number so i can txt u" just then my friend walked back into the room and the teacher grabbed the note and read it to the class, but i dont remember what happened.

then i was at my mom’s boyfriends house, but it was different and there was extra floor and i was in a room with a counter top, a bunkbed, stools at the counter and red lamps. i was talking to him on AIM and i gave him my number. i was wearing denim shorts and a yellow and purple shirt. i had just come back from the mall. my hair was up in pigtails, which i never wear. what does this mean? my sister says it means i like him but i wont let myself like him.

I have office leather chair at my room, if I sit there a long time, the chair will turn smelly and how to get rid of that? What type of cleaning product to polish the leather and to make it smell good too? Can I spray it directly with air freshener?

Please read my story for school. The first paragraph is the main idea of the story. The second is is part of my story, which I need help on. It needs to be descriptive…and well I’m not good at descriptive stories. Please help. Any ideas are welcomed

The Scarecrow
Luke recently broke up with his long -time girlfriend and lost his job. He’s really unhappy and life isn’t going as planned. He goes to a bar in self-pity. Wasted and longing for a friend to tell all his issues to, he starts talking to the bartender. The woman on the bar stool a few seats down overhears and they start up a conversation. She introduces herself as Miranda. By the end of the night, they exchange phone numbers and plan to meet in the future. After a few days they make plans to go out. They have a good time and make plans for another date. He begins to really like her, and she gains his trust. After a while she starts to act weird. She’s not as talkative and she’s always unavailable. She seems stressed and far away, mentally. When they meet again, she has a bandaged hand that she keeps quiet about (It’s from clearing out the corn field- which the reader knows about). After a few days she goes back to her normal self, happy and cheerful (after she had her sacrifice plan worked out). He thinks nothing of it. For one of their dates, they plan to watch a meteor shower, a pastime Luke really enjoys. She tells him the best place to view it is on the hill overlooking the corn field, a few miles outside her home. They park the car and start walking. They get to the top of a hill and they set their blanket down, and she hands him a beer (drugged). They drink, talk and wait for the shower to start. He feels woozy and passes out. He awakes on a wooded scarecrow post in the corn field below. He has a hard time focusing and staying awake. Miranda is sharping a knife while 3 other people stand around her. They are all singing something quietly (chant). Knowing he is in danger, he screams out but it only comes out as a squeak. Hearing this, Miranda looks up at him with a hellish smile and a demonic gleam in her eyes. She laughs and slits his throat. She leaves him on the post and dresses him as scarecrow, left for people to find him. She moves on to the next town and next victim

And everything went dark.
I came back to consciousness slowly. I weakly opened my eyes and tried to focus them. My surroundings appeared blurry. However, I could tell that I was upright. I blinked my eyes furiously. I could see the faint outline of figures in the dark. A shine of metal caught my attention. The full moon reflected on in it and gave off a shimmer of light as it moved, slowly back and forth. I started to drift off again, but I forced myself to stay awake. My vision came in a little clearer and I could make out the tall corn stalks. My numbness was wearing off. I could feel my arms resting on something to the side of my body, but my hands were not in contact with anything. I groped the air and I made contact with a damp wooded board. Then the adrenalin kicked in. I frantically racked my brain for some information that would help me remember where I was. I opened my mouth to scream. Nothing came out but a squeak. Miranda appeared in front of me. I could see her outline and her piercing green eyes. They shone with a demonic gleam. A hellish smile appeared on her face and she laughed. It was soft and deep. It penetrated the unnerving quietness of the night. It chilled me to the core. As I saw a meteor pass the sky, she slit my throat.

i’ve been dating this guy for 3 months now..we are very close (eventhough we agreed in the beginning to take things slow b/c he’s been hurt before-had his relationships end badly)…we’ve told each other pretty much everything about our lives (I know things about him that not even his parents know)

I’ve talked to his brother on the phone, he told his parents about me a month ago, and I’ve also talked to his parents on the phone a few days ago (we were hanging out at the park and he put them on speaker phone to say hi to me). I also met and hung out with his college buddies this weekend when they came into town to visit. these are his very close circle of friends..

we went out for lunch yesterday then went out again last night to play poker..when I walked into the bar where we play poker he immediately got up from his chair, wrapped me into a huge hug and said "I missed you". later that night, I was sitting at the poker table still playing (he got kicked out) and I looked at him from across the table-he smiled and winked at me.

later while we were sitting down talking, he rubbed my back, looked right into my eyes and said "I wish I didn’t have to think about you all the time" I looked at him w/a sad face and said "what’s that supposed to mean? I can not talk to you ever again then you won’t have to think about me" He smiled and said "don’t worry, it’s a good thing"

when we walked over to say goodbye to our friends, he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me into a hug..I rested my head on his chest and he squeezed me tight.

he hugged me tight again for a really long time when we said goodnight out by my car (pulled me really close to him)..he said he’d see me today and started to walk away but then came back to hug me again.

what does all this mean? do you think he wants to commit soon?

I have a bird bath, a 3 foot tall very heavy St Francis, a black carp, out of my six musically tuned wind chimes, I have two left, the rest were stolen, and one chatter chime (bamboo), solar lights and of course patio furniture, faux wicker.

Now that there are newer members, I am again asking what have you got in your garden, aka yard, and what has pride of place? For me it would be my St Francis. We have been together a very long time !

like say you have a steel chair, and you are about to hit someone, a bar pops up and lets you inflict as much damage to your opponent with the steel chair. Would that be cool being used with other weapons too? Or maybe you can just hold down the (attack) button, if you hold it for a long time you inflict the most damage to your opponent. Tell me what you think! And if it is included in the next SD vs. RAW game, there could be an option that lets you turn the bar ON or OFF.

What type of patio furniture is durable and long-lasting in all seasons of weather? Oh, and easy to clean!

We live in the mid-west and want to purchase a set that will last a long time.

He used to be really sick a month ago but I nursed him back to health and took him to vet. He used to have roundworms and they’re all gone at 2nd stool sample test. For a long time he is still having diarrhea and sometimes he is dripping jelly-like light brown diarrhea on my carpet and kitchen floor. It looks like beef gravy! What is it? Giardia? I even feed him high quality holistic food!

He’s much smaller than a normal kitten his age (4 months at 2.5 lbs)
his poo looks like toothpaste and sometimes shiny but not watery

I know this kid. he’s 8 years old. he and his sisters are home schooled so he doesn’t have any other kids his age for his parents to compare him to. there are no teachers to point out that maybe your kid is a little different. he doesn’t play any sports either. all the kids at his church close to his age are girls so his family thinks his strange behavior is just because he’s a boy (he the only son they have as well). i have known these people for a long time so when i see him i realize that something isn’t quite right. his family is with him ALL THE TIME and so they would never really notice it.

I don’t know much about autism but I do know that it differs in ever kid. I"m thinking maybe he has a slight case of autism or whatever. everything i’v read about it and the 3 other kids i know that have autism seem to act like this kid.

here are some examples of the way he acts. maybe you could tell me if you think he has some troubles or if it’s jsut me.

he has good days and bad days. sometimes he acts great and normal other times he acts almost uncontrollable.

AGE 7-one time he was not done eating dinner and was sitting at the table still finishing after his family dispersed. he picked up a napkin and put it on top of a candle (he later said he didn’t think it would catch on fire). the napkin caught on fire and he dropped it to the ground. luckily his mom saw the whole thing.

AGE 8- he literally HUNG from a cork board i have on the wall in my room. he hung on it like a kid would hang on monkey bars.

AGE 8 – (same day as the above example) he got his shoe lace stuck in my brothers bike. don’t ask how that happened i have no idea!!

AGE 8- again the same day- my dad is funny about his cars. he has two nice cars he doesn’t want anything happening to. he NEVER lest us ride our bikes around his cars. Andrew (that’s the kids name) knows that. I had to tell him multaple times that day not to ride his bike around the cars. he would listen for about 10 min then come back and do the same thing i would tell him and he would act like he was hearing it for the first time.

AGE 7- he called my name over and over just to put his hand on one of my hockey trophy and pose like they guy on the trophy. he knows i dont’ like him touching them.

AGE 5-present- every time he is at my house i have to tell him about 3 times to stop jumping/bouncing on my bead!

AGE 4-present- he’s winy! he wines all the time!! and cries when he doesn’t get his way often. i wouldn’t think anythign of it except for the fact that he’s 8!!

AGE 3-8- he’s spaces out often

AGE4-present- he has imaginary friends! i woudn’t think anything of it except that he’s 8 now…

FOREVER- he’s EXTREMELY creative!! with things like legos, drawings, playdoah, his toys, and has a great little imagination.

ALWAYS- he’s really forgetfull!! he can never remember to do his chores or clean his room. stuff like that

RECENTLY started climbing on our furniture when he’s at our house. (like the backs of couches) that may jsut be a boy thing my 11 yr old brother stil does it

AGE 6- when their cat was a kitten he would torment it. example: pulling his ears and tail. and would literally THROW the poor cat. he would also jump our and scare it

FOREVER- he struggles in school (remember he’s home schooled) he spaces our and jsut has trouble learning.

FOREVER- his room is ALWAYS a messs. AND I MEAN A MESS!!!!!

i dont’ want anybody to think i’m complaining about this kid! i love him like a little brother. i jsut feel like there’s something not quite right with him. it’s not my position or my parents position to say somthing to his parents unless we are posative.

what do you think? do you think there’s somthing up with him or do you think it’sjust me???

Wendy’s are always really old inside with those ugly green plants and those wood and red chairs, that ugly line up bar thingy, and the one near me has those ugly dividers with those fake green plants. EWWW. This is disgusting. McDonald’s has renovated and looks very modern these days. I think I wiwll be going back to McDonald’s from now on. AND YOU KNOW WHO ELSE NEEDS TO RENOVATE? Hardee’s. The one near me has WOOD PANEL WALLS … They lost my business a long time ago, but the new logo several years ago did get some of my business back, but they did a great new logo, but no new walls? Pffft.

I feel very strongly about this. Anyone else feel this way?

I’m a cross country runner, and I’ve had extremely bad shin splints this season. I went to a doctor who did muscle treatment, and it really helped my shin splints, but now my left hip and thigh are in a lot of pain. My doctor thought that I was maybe overcompensating for my shins, and that’s what’s caused the pain. He thinks it might be a stress fracture, but told me to wait a week to see if anything changes. Today I couldn’t even finish practice it hurt so bad. About two weeks ago, my hip started hurting after I ran, and after sitting down for a long time. Now it hurts to even walk on it, and hurts even more both at the beginning and the end of a run. I’m in constant pain, even when I sit down. And I’ve been having pain in my thigh too. When I sit on a higher chair, like a bar stool, I get this shooting/pinching pain towards the inside of my left thigh. I have no idea what’s going on, but I was just wondering what you think it could be. Thanks!

My brother has been torn up thinking that his wife is having an affair,she has stated to him that she is unhappy and has been staying out late drinking and partying with her work friends,all I can say is that all the symptoms of a third party involved in there marriage are there and have been there for a long time,my brother is a good man,a family man with a good job,very attentive to his kids and wife.Earlier tonight on my way home from work I stop at a local bar to pick up some hamburgers for my family and who do you think is sitting there all cozy in the corner with another man,my sister in law,needless to say I freak out and pound this guy with a beer mug and a chair from the bar,my sister in law runs out of there and so do I.What do I do,I haven’t talked to my brother,did I do the wrong thing by hitting this guy,should I have left and went straight to my brother to tell him that his hunch was right about the affair,what about my sister in law,how do I deal with her now,I am pretty upset at what I did,I think I handled this the wrong way,what do you think

Ok, I have been living on aparments since long time ago, most of them are all carpet (no choice), so now I’m moving to a beautiful townhome with 2 levels, first level where the living/dinning/kitchen are is all hardwood floors, I was just looking for slidders or socks for the furniture so they don’t scratch the wood, my fiance said that the dinning room and the couches will look funny without a big area rug underneath. Do you think that Area rugs are mandatory on hardwood floors? Please share your opinions. Thanks again.
