Reasonable patio furniture?

My husband and I just closed on our new home! We take posession in a month. The main selling feature for us was the fact that it has the MOST amazing backyard with a lagoon style pool, hot tub, palm/fruit trees, and gazebo. We would love some nice looking furniture (chaise lounges, a big dining set, comfortable lounge chairs etc). We live in Florida, where we can spend 9-10 months a year outdoors, so it seems like a reasonable place to furnish nicely!

Does anybody have any recommendations for beautiful outdoor furniture that won’t break the bank? I wish that we could order from Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware, but it just doesn’t seem smart to spend ,000 on furniture that’s going to get rained on when we have young children who need college funds!!

I’m a big online shopper… any tips would be much appreciated :-)

Anybody been to one of those dine in movie theaters?

I would like your opinion

I accidentally visited one (I thought I was going to a normal theater and didn’t even know these places existed). I must say, it was cool. Huge lounge chairs that fully recline, waitress service, full bar and food menu. It was the most comfortable movie I ever saw

What do you think of them

Tiny Red Bugs on Patio Furniture?

Well they aren`t on any of our garden plants or patio table where we eat for barbeques. They are only on our covered lounge chairs (metal ones with cushions on them). I`m not sure if they bite but I still don`t want to lay on the chairs because I`m not too fond of things crawling all over me. I tried spraying down the chairs with our hose but they were back by the next day. Is there a way to get rid of them for good?

I think I’ve asked this question before, but this is what I wrote, when I was in 3rd grade. I was so proud of it, it inspired me to write actual real stories. Now I look back on it and realize what a big imagination I really had back then ;] (READ: you don’t have to read the bottom part, just if you want a good laugh) :

Christmas Eve

It was the day before Christmas Eve and Jimmy, Suzy, Sally, Billy and Mandy were outside in the snow. Suzy and Sally were building a snowman. Jimmy and Billy were having snowball fights, and Mandy was sledding. They were at the Rocky Mountain Park. The best Ski Resort in the state. There was everything there. From hot tubs and rooms to juice bars and lounge chairs. There were also fire places, room service, cocoa, snack bars, t.v., blankets, ski rents, ski lifts, and Christmas parties. They got room number 1183. It had king sized beds and cable hookup. Also free mints… mmm… lounge chairs, and they were having a party for Suzy, so free ski rentals!

After a couple hours they all came in and sat in the lounge chairs and sipped hot cocoa. It was 5:30 PM. They threw the hot dogs on the grill and opened the salad bars, put more cocoa on the table and got ready to eat. Suzy’s mom came and got them to eat. There was a table with balloons just waiting for them. Suzy was in line first, Jimmy second, Billy third, Mandy fourth, Sally fifth and Suzy’s brother last. Suzy picked pickles, salad, a hot dog with ketchup, chips and carrots. She went over to the table and started to eat. Jimmy picked just a salad. (He wasn’t that hungry). He ran over to the table and sat down, starting to eat. Billy was full, (he drank too much cocoa). Many had just some chips, and Sally had one of everything. They all sang happy birthday, cut the cake and started to sing. Just then, Billy burped really loud!
"Nice!" said Jimmy,
"Thanks," said Billy.
Everyone came to the table, "Almost time to open presents!" Suzy’s mom said. Suzy opened Sally’s presents first,
"Oh, the new talking Polly doll!" Suzy said.
"What do you say?" her mother said.
"Thank you!" Suzy said to Sally. Then Suzy got Mandy’s gift… it was a… a… kitten! A real live kitten! "Can we keep him mom?"
"Yes, of course honey,"
"Come Bingo, we have more presents to open," Meow, meow, the cat said, "Let’s open Billy’s present now!" Suzy said, "Oh, it’s a pair of… socks…"
"Not Just socks, put your hand inside… now press." the socks sang, you are my best friend!
"They are sock puppets, wow! Thanks!" said Suzy. Last but not least, Jimmy’s present. It was everything for her kitten/ Kitten toys, a litter box, a little kitten collar and leash, kitten toys, and a little kitten video game, too! Suzy got lots of cool gifts! Now they thought they might go for a swim… but oh no! Suzy forgot her bathing suit! Suzy’s mother got out another present.
"What?" said Suzy and tore off the wrapper. It was a…. new bathing suit! She put it on, it said cool chick on it, it had a pikture of a chick with sunglasses on. She dove in the pool. Splash, splash! Everyone dove in! They all wore goggles. They all dove under. They looked at each other. They all held hands and went up. Her mother said, "Say cheese!" They all came out. The kitten got splashed. He shook off, getting Suzy wet,
"Silly kitten!" Suzy giggled, "Hahaha!" She took Bingo back to room 1183. She set him in his basket that said: BINGO. She was playing her kitten video game.

You could go to the pet store, buy a kitten, pick if you wanted it to have spots, what color collar, leash/leash/dish/food/water/toys/paws/fur/bed. She made a grey kitten with pink paws and a pink nose. Suzy’s mom said it was time to go to bed now. Suzy shut off the video game and turned out the light…

****there’s more, and I’ll put it down if people want :P I just think it’s funny and my sister read it the other day, and won’t get off my back for it now. So people, what did you write when you were a kid?
lmao thanks. There was a time when you became obcessed with fire and power?? wow, you were an evil child xD I was obcessed with princesses and fairies until like… last year haha not lying! And I’m now almost 14, pretty sad, huh?
