My front porch has a railing and mulberry bushes that every neighborhood songbird roosts on, and it creates a terrible mess. How can I prevent the birds from returning to the porch, save for following Mr. Twit’s example and gluing them to the roof?

While i was cleaning up my back porch today after work i discovered a dead kitten on the bench portion of my deck furniture. There are tons of stray cats in my neighborhood. My town is notorious for the many large cat colonies it is home to so im not necessarily surprised by finding a dead kitten but i dont know what to do with the carcass. The thing probably died during the recent norteaster that hit us hard over the weekend. My girlfriend called an animal rescue to join a TNR(Trap Neuter Release) program that they offer.I’m kind of sad for the kitten but my real issue is what the hell do i do with this thing? I have no experience dealing with the removal of dead kittens. Any help is appreciated.
I have no way to bury it my house is right along the water…..i could throw it off my deck into Jamaica Bay but i dont think my neighbors will appreciate that.

I live in a neighborhood where the are lots of children. I have my own kids. Kids are constantly coming over to visit. but mostly it’s for the food. I feel like I’m a short order cook. When they are done with their meals they ask for more. I try to say enough without hurting their feelings. Parents show up to play with my kids unannounced, lots of times I busy doing something, that I have to drop because they came to visit. Then the kids want something to eat and the parents don’t say anything so off I go to the kitchen to fix them something. When I was young I was not allowed to mention that I was hungry when we were visiting. I would get in so much trouble. Kids jumping on my furniture and parents don’t say anything. I don’t allow my children to do any of the above. The parents are really nice people so I’m careful about what I say or do so as not to offend anyone. Please give me some ideas. I feel overwhelmed.

I just bought a house…it sits on an acre…each house in the neighborhood has an acre…i have neighbors to each side but noone behind me so privacy is not an issue…..the backyard has nothing! It currently has like a 10×10 regular cement patio slab with the roof extending over it like most houses…..well I want to put some money into the yard to make it look nice cause i love cooking out/relaxing outside…..I am going to buy a hot tub and had thought about building a nice deck and dropping the hottub in the deck…well the more I thought about it is that the current cement slab will not blend in well or look good with a deck…so I have thought about building a huge patio with cool looking cement…I am not sure what I need/want to do…I want to be able to grill, have the hot tub in a good looking area, possibly a portable firepit, outdoor furniture..ect…what should I do?? price range is approx 8k….suggestions please!!

I have a nice one story home. It has wooden floors, 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, and a great sized living room. In the living room, we have a 102 in. TV, but i feel we need to add something to our living room to make it more comfy. Also on the patio, we don’t have any patio furniture and I was thinking i might need to add some. We will also be adding a Pug dog to our home November, and what should i get to make him more comfortable. Me and my husband make a 5,000 combined and we have 2 children, but we have grown to like or home in this neighborhood and don’t feel a need to move into a bigger house.

So even though I was really being a creep, still these girls at the bar had no right whatsoever telling me to my face I was! First of all, I usually go to bars by myself because my friends live out of town and my friends in my neighborhood are always busy and don’t want to go out with me and I can never find a group to go out with so I end up going by myself to bars lonely!

So last week I was at a bar sitting by myself and I wanted to mingle in with some girls and talk to them. I was just getting a coke first of all because I didn’t want to drink so I was just sitting there and staring at the women because I really wanted to fit in and was desperate to make friends. I really wasn’t trying to intend on being creepy or freaking the women out but I had feelings and I wanted to get in their conversation but I was shy so I first said: “Excuse me, How are you girls doing tonight?” and they all turned around and gave me a very rude look like a look like: “F*ck off!” and made a mean face at me and went back to their conversation so 5 minutes go by, I am sitting close by them and trying to sit there relax and get close behind them and they seriously had a cute a*s so my leg was behind one of the girl’s butts when she was on the stool and I was trying to get some attention but when she turned around, she stopped the conversation and scoot her chair in and made me nervous and she yelled: “EXCUSE ME! DO YOU MIND MOVING DOWN SOMEWHERE ELSE?!! YOU ARE REALLY FREAKING ME OUT!!!!!” And I said: “I apologize. I wasn’t trying to bother you. I just wanted to be friendly but Ill move.” So I moved somewhere else in another corner with no one to talk to and couldn’t stop crying!! She hurt my feelings and was being a b*tch! Did she have any right whatsoever to tell me to sit somewhere else and to say I am creepy? I just have bad social skill problems and wish she could have been nice and talked to me with her group!

Also while at it, the bouncer threw me out of that bar because of that and it sucked all together! Did the bouncer have any right too to kick me out for that and for going there by myself all the time? Chicks, Ill tell you!

My mom has been talking about getting some new patio furniture, so i went searching online for something nice. I thought i had found two perfect things for our smallish backyard/patio, but when i told her, she said that we couldn’t get it because it would be stolen.

She acts like this all the time. Always negative and paranoid. Do YOU think that it would be stolen? We live in a VERY safe/rich-er (ER!) neighborhood. haha. I suppose she’s concerned because the one i showed her was wicker, and it would be easier to steal than other things.

This just bothers me. Is there anything i can say to change her mind? It would be so perfect to put in back. I just want to know what you think. I seriously doubt someone would steal it. Ugh.

Twice i’ve been having strange dreams about a korean guy with red skin (he had korean facial features, and somehow I knew he was korean) trying to break into my house. There was a bar (like a towel rack) in between the storm door and the regular door, and he was trying to put a roll of toilet paper on it? And I was trying to prevent him from doing so. He was also trying to push the door in and I was pushing it shut, and by the time a had the door shut and locked he threw the toilet paper at me. By the time the door was shut, I found that the bar in between the 2 doors reached all the way up to the second floor (my house is like this, Second floor, Stairs, Landing (The door is on the landing), Stairs, first floor.) and was attached to the chair up there. I had to move the bar out of the way to shut the door. Also, at one point in the dream it was like I was riding in a helicopter, and looking down at all the other houses in my neighborhood, and I thought they were on fire. I thought the korean guy was setting the houses on fire, but it turned out he was lighting bonfires in their yards?

Yeah, it was weird. Can anyone tell me what this means???

It was very slim looking and about the height of a crow when perched. Its chest was pale with brown bars, the back was dark slate gray to black and head was a dark brown black. A home inspector came to my house today requested by the person who is going to buy my house. I was requested to leave and take my dogs with me for 4 hours, which was inconvienient, but understandable. When I got home, after toting my dogs around with me for 4 hours, I let them outside, and went back into the car to get my sleeping son, and found my dogs running loose in the neighborhood! He did not shut my gate back! Luckily after 20 minutes of chasing, I was able to get them back. Then, I walk back into my house. Every cabinet he looked in, pretty much all were wide open. All of my blinds in my house were all lopsided and pulled open all crooked. All of the my chairs that go to my table, and up agaist the bar were all in the middle of the room. Also, he left hundreds of black scuff marks and black footprints all over my freshly mopped ceramic tile floor! It just seems to me, that he should have left my house as he found it. He is lucky my dogs did not get hit by cars. So Careless!!!!
He also left the toilet seat up as well, which makes me think he used the bathroom while he was there! Yuck!

The neighborhood is rife with cats & all of them want to mark my patio as their own. Some of my furniture out there isn’t the stuff you can just hose down either. Any suggestions that don’t include anti-freeze or a pellet gun? Thanks.

I’ve downloaded sims, they download like any other piece of clothing, objects, furniture, whatever.
but I can find those other things, I just have NO IDEA where the sims end up in the game after they are downloaded.
I’ve checked in the peoples bar, where the families are put when they don’t have a home yet, and it’s not there. Where do they go? Is it a certain neighborhood that has them?
how do I do this correctly?
