How do I get paint off an oak chair?

My son drip paint all over my oak chair and I don’t know how to take it off.

I have recently built an outdoor patio made of wood. I am now trying to figure out what kind of paint is appropriate for my patio. Are there different kinds of paints I can use, or is there a certain one for wood patios? Like Solid Colors, Semi-Tranparents, Toners, and Clears.
And is there a difference in paints for a deck and paints for a patio? Or are they the same?
And yes, I’d like something that leaves the natural wood grain and color.

The table is painted a buttermilk red and it is the original paint. It is about 64 inches long by 36 in width and 29 inches in height. The table doesn’t have chairs. I looked at Windsor chairs but those are way out of my budget range. Would mismatched chairs work with this type of table, circa mid 1800′s.

Is it difficult to refinish wicker?

How should I repair my kitchen counter?

I am moving out of my apartment at the end of the month and I damaged my kitchen counter by putting down a hot pan on it when I burned my hand and it made a "ring" on my counter that indented it and took all the paint off. Can I sand it down and then paint it or what would anyone suggest?

I inherit the deck from the previous owner of trhe house. The paint on the decking and the stairs is peeling. The railing is not painted, but layed with green and black dirt. What is the best way to clean this deck?

I would like to purchase a resin wicker set and am unsure if the product (paint, etc) is harmful?

How do I stop my outdoor furniture from rusting?

I have black colored cast iron chairs and a table.
I was wondering if there is any way to stop my outdoor furniture from rusting. The furniture is new…just bought a few months ago and it is already leaving a "ring" of rust on my deck where the umbrella stand sits. I thought there might be some type of coating or spray I could put on the umbrella base so that it does not stain my deck with rust. Does anyone know if such a spray exists? It is just watery "surface" rust, which wipes off for now….but I’d like to stop it from staining up my deck! I would think there would be something (like the clearcoat finish on a car) that could be put over the paint. Any tips?

How should I paint my wicker furniture?

I’m moving and I have a white wicker bedroom set that I’ve had since I was about 5 or 6. It’s in great condition, but the paint is starting to fade. I want to keep it the same color, but is there a certain paint or process that I should use?

I have two metal rocking chairs, but the paint on the bottom has all chipped away and the bottoms are rusty. Is there anything I can use to cover the bottoms so that my patio does not get rust stains? Should I just repaint them or will this just happen again? Also, is there any type of rubber coating or something that I can apply? Thanks in advance.

I have a round redwood table and 4 benches, and two redwood chairs and a love-seat that are a bit beat up. What paint should I use on these to color them either white or black?
