Last night I took a shower after a long day of painting patio furniture. Some of the speckles of paint that were stuck to me ended up on the floor of the tub – the paint is black and my tub is white ceramic.
Since last night, I have scrubbed the tub (while wet & while dry) with a heavy duty scrubber, and with cleaning chemicals, but the most the paint will do is smear.
Any suggestions how to remove it?
Thanks!

I have dark cherry kitchen cabinets with madura gold granite countertops. The combination of the two makes my kitchen very red. Is there a kitchen backsplash that would take attention away from the reddish color that I have. My style is traditional and I have a SW Believable Buff paint on the walls. Thanks in advance!

My kitchen and dining room are open to each other and the walls are a mellow orange the paint was toasted coconut. I wanted to do a vintage mexican theme, I was inspired by a wrought iron rustic looking wine rack we have that looks really good next to the orange. But now I am stuck, mainly on wall decor… help! anyone have a fabulous idea?

I just remodeled my kitchen and now have to re-decroate. I now have a 1foot space or so from the top of the cabinets to the ceiling. My kitchen USED to have all vegetables and antiques. My kitchen now has blue, beige, cream, brown flooring (vinyl – looks like tile) with oak cabinets, brown, cream swirl mixed countertops that is called sandstone, beige wall tile with a off white pain for trim and a very light brown almost beige paint for the walls. The light above the sink is now a tiffany stained glass with greens, browns and beige. The regular light is the exact same as the other light just bigger.
I rather not cram the top of my cabinets with tons of items to keep it simple and clean but what can I put up there that is just a couple things that looks nice to accent the kitchen and fill the empty space?

Hi,
I have a whole bunch of faded plastic furniture that I would like to spray paint so that they will finally match! The house is a big white plantation style (imagine Tara from Gone with the Wind) and I cant decide on the color. The shutters are black, but there arent any in the backyard. I cant decide if I want something colorful like blue or red, or if black would look better and a tad more elegant (as much as plastic can do that…lol!).HELP!!!

Getting ready to close on our first home.
It’s not huge, a nice starter home.
Has an eat-in kitchen. I really like the bar height tables and chairs and we’ve found a table we like that comes with two chairs and both rounded ends of the table fold down for space.
Q1. Would a bar height or standard height make the kitchen look bigger?
One of the first things on our to-do list is get the bathroom remodeled. A local contractor did my parent’s bathroom a few years ago and it looked great. We ordered a custom sized extra long and wide shower base and then had the walls tiled in 6inch tiles (pretty sure it’s 6"). The walls were painted Cocoa Mocha (a neutral creamy tan color). But the plans for this new home are to do it in muted blue colors-possibly.
Q2. What tile size looks best in a smaller bathroom? Should i look for more 6in tiles or go for the really small ones?
Any other paint/decor tips you’d like to share that worked well for you–i’d appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

Should i use a base coat? Can I use a spray acrylic? In the past, the paint has always bubbled up on the furniture I kept in the sun.

Kitchen and livingroom. Can’t paint or anything perm. They’re both pretty small and only seperated by the kitchen counter which is about 3 to 4 feet high and about 5 to 6 feet long.
The living room has darkish blue carpet and white and grey walls. (grey panneling). It has two windows right next each other and the door is bland grey. I have very little furniture, but what I do have I can’t really get rid of. I have a huge bookcase that is dark wood. I have a chest of drawers type thing (I may move this out to another room unless I can think of something creative to do with it) and it is slightly lighter wood. kind of old looking. I have a small roll-top desk that is a light wood also. The kitchen has light grey/white lenolium for the flooring. The counter is white. The cabinets are a medium dark yellowish orangeish wood. (I’m not good with wood types.) How can I cheaply pull all of this together? Color schemes? Can’t paint bookcase. Pictures/details appreciaetd!
