My male cat constantly pees on my beanbag chair. Everyday without fail, I walk into my apartment and find the chair filled with cat pee. I make sure his litter is cleaned everyday and have tried different measurements of punishment from light smacks on his behind, sticking his face in it, and even sticking his face in it then setting him under the sink faucet. I feel horrible when I carry out any of these punishments, but I don’t know how else to deter him and these methods aren’t helping. He’s a 2 year old Maincoon who’s been fixed. He shares the apartment with a sister from the same litter. Besides the beanbag chair, he pees nowhere else except for his litter box. He has, however, been territorial in the past including peeing on me and my bed when I have guests spend the night. Any ideas?

I am completely baffled. He is almost 3 1/2. He was housebroken at a very young age and learned very quickly in only a few weeks. We have NEVER had any problems with this before. All of a sudden, he has begun to pee in the house. Not often, and usually in the morning.
For instance, I woke up at 7:00 am this morning and took him outside to pee. He pee’d 3 times and seemed to empty his bladder. While I was getting my children their breakfast and dressed, he peed in our dining room on a barstool leg. Not a lot of pee, but enough to make it stink in the room.
He has never done until recently. He was neutered about a year and a half ago.

He is three and a half. about a year ago he showed interest and he would pee in the pot. Now it’s like he’s scared of it and won’t go near it without a fight. I don’t want to be pushy, but it angers me that when he has a bm he runs and hides behind the kitchen table instead of telling me.
I feel like I didn’t do enough to encourage him when he did want to do it, ( it was summer and we were outside alot), adn now that it’s winter and were inside, it seems logical that now is a good time to learn. Especially with a 4 year old neighbor that can wipe himself, and a 2 year old girl 2 houses down that’s been fully trained since 18 mos.
I’m beginning to become embarrased that he’s still in dapers.
Also we have one of those little potties that fit on top of a big potty, that’s what he doesn’t like to use.
Oh, and I think I’m going to take the advise of a resolved question and get him a stool to stand on to see if he likes standing and peeing better that trying to sit.
HELP!
Okay, I’ve bought a "special stool" for paying the cheerios game! And I’m gonna give him a pez dispenser, but he can only have a roll of candy when he uses the potty. Also I’m gonna take away his diapers this weekend. Starting tomorrow!
Wish us luck!

I have 3 dogs. A golden retriever, a scottie and a westie. They are given heartguard since I got them. But when I sent their stool sample to the vet 2 days ago.He told me my retriever has whipworms.I was shocked cos they were on heartguard.
He told me heartguard doesnt protect the dogs against whipworm..I was stunned cos if it doesnt, why didnt he tell me?
He gave me 3 packets of panucur. I gave one packet inside the food on yesterday’s breakfast.Last night,my retriever vomitted and pooped so much.I was thinking the panacur was acting up the cleansing job.But this morning when I woke up,I saw 4 ‘lots’ of poo and pee in the kitchen where my retriever was kept for the night.2 patches was just blood and the other 2 were pee and watery stool without worms.
I called the vet and he says panacur doesnt have such effect but if it happens again,I should send my dog to the emergency room.
I will monitor again to make sure she doesnt poo blood again.
Can someone tell me. As I read that the eggs of the whipworm cannot be eliminated completely. What can I do?
And since heartguard doesnt protect her against whipworm. What is good?Interceptor or sentinel?
As I have mentioned,I have 3 dogs. The retriever is 40lbs 6 months old puppy. My westie and scottie are 6.5lbs 4 months old puppies.
I appreciate genuine advices.Thanks

Today I cleaned my whole kitchen and even mopped the floor on my hands and knees with a dish sponge and have been super uncomfortable with lots of pressure. I’ve been going pee like every 30min (I don’t have a UTI) and I have loose stools. Sorry probably TMI. I’ve had some mild cramping but nothing major. My last baby was born at 24wks so I don’t remember what it’s like to go into labor this far along. I’m 36wks. Any thoughts on if you think I will go into labor in the next few days?

I have a 2 year old pug–raised him from a puppy, good dog, sweet dog–also have 2 cats and a female cocker. this crazy dog–after just being outside–will jump on my couch–and pee-not a good long whiz-just enough to mark it. tonight he p-’d on the couch and then went right to the love seat and did the same. he is not nuetered–shows no signs of humping anything.
He has jumped on my bed–out of now where-p’d on the pillow–now too he is peeing alot in my kitchen where he stays alot all day. He just started doing this. Is he just jealous of all the other animals. I have bought the spray to spray on furniture–nothing works. I am about to send this lil guy to Iraq to sniff out IED’s..
he is not neutered–I think its mean..

I have a a two and a half year old terrier who we have to keep in our kitchen and dining room area because he will pee on the rest of the furniture in our house. Recently, he started peeing on our living room chairs, even if we let him out to go pee, so we lock him in his crate (which he generally doesn’t mind) when we are not in his room. A few days ago, I realized that he started peeing on his crate and inside where his bed is. We haven’t brought any new animals into the house, no new people, so we are really baffled by his behavior. Anything I can do to stop him peeing? And why is he doing this?
He is potty trained and fixed.

I moved in with a friend and co-worker 10/08. At the time of move in a contract was not written nor was it ever written during my time there. The verbal agreement at time of move in was that I would pay 1/3 of the monthly rent on the 10th of each month and 1/3 of the bills, nothing was spoken about giving a 30 day notice to her if I chose to leave. Due to recent events I have moved due to me not feeling safe in the home anymore. My roommate would not give me a house key as she never locked the door, she would bring home random guys from the bar, she has done illiegal drugs in the home that we shared, and she never cleaned (none of which I knew upon move in). Upon leaving there was dog poop in her room and vomit on her bed that has been there for weeks, in addition to that the basment smelled like cat pee as her cat is no longer using the litterbox as my roommate never cleans it, that doesn’t even to begin to describ how disgusting this house is. Her dog also had bloody diaherria on my bedroom furniture that I had to clean as she was out drinking, another one of her dogs ate ALL my dogs very expensive food and ruined the container that I kept the food in which she never replaced like she said she would, and she evicted my small dog due to her large banned breeded dog attacking her and she would not help with any of the medical bills (were not much as I work as a vet clinic but money still came out of my pocket). My parents convinced me yesterday to move out today. Today I moved out without telling her as she was out drinking the night before and did not come home therefore I was not able to infom her about me moving out the next day. Before I left I cleaned the room spotless. When my roommate got home she was very upset and called me while I was on my way to my parents home to unload my belongins from my car. She was very hostel on the phone and I informed her that I am giving her a 11 day notice that I was leaving. Even though I am no longer living there I am going to allow her to keep the remaining 11 day rent (approx 5) for bills that I may owe. My roommate is now threating to take me to small clams court even though there is no documentation about an agreement. I also recieved a text message from her informing me that if I went around telling everyone at work that she is doing drugs she would also sue me for slander, which I would not do as my work is a place of business not a high school. Please leave any legit referances as this will most likley go to court.

I ended up with a dog and I am having so much trouble getting him house trained. He was a lost dog so I am not sure his background. He is small and I think he is a terrier/poodle. The guy at Petsmart says he around 3 years old. I have tried so hard to get him to go outside but since at this point he isnt trained at all, I want to teach him to use pads. He pees and poops on the carpet even though I have been consistant. He has a crate that is a little large for him to just lie down and turn around. I did my best to make the inside of the crate smaller by stacking 3 large phone books but he still pees and poops in his area of the crate. His stools are formed so I know he isnt sick. Because of my disability (severe neck injury), I’ve decided to train him to use puppy pads. I put the pad on the floor but he will never use it, he would rather just go on the carpet. I used the pad to soak up an area where he pee’d but he still doesnt use the pad. I want so bad to keep him but if I can’t get him trained, its not going to be possible. He is such a good dog and I feel like its my fault he is not getting it. Some stats about him:
1. He doesn’t circle when he pee’s. He sometimes raises his leg and sometimes just squats.
2. I have him on a light-weight leash most of the time. Bedroom doors are closed off.
3. I have to have him on the leash when he’s not in the crate because the opening between my
kitchen/living room is too large for a puppy/baby gate.
4. He sleeps in his crate.
Please be kind when advising, I really want to do it right and help him learn to potty on the pad but I have no idea how to do this. I need help and would appreciate any help. I am hoping to be able to let stay out of the crate while we are at work and school, but to do that he has to be trained.
Would a dog litter box be better?

relationship of 10 months for us. he broke up with "jess" in december. i never even knew she, or that relationship, existed until recently. around june- i found tank top and thong, not mine, in our new apt. i still stay at home sometimes tho. around beginning of july-she came to my work on my day off-got a brochure- and placed it on my b/f’s windsheild. i was in the apt. he was running out to the store. he came back, and explained to me it had to of come from "jess" cuz she found out about me and him and how serious we are just days before. "she’s crazy and obsessed" he said. also informed me she and her friends are known for jumping people and have criminal records. well- i stayed calm. i got her last name just in case. which was very hard to do. things calmed down- she called him cuz she was worried id called the cops- end of that. until beginning of sept. his cell rings at 1 am. he "doesnt know the #". i call it in the morning- first time ive EVER looked at his phone. it rings, then the recording "hi, youve reached the *ex’s last name* residence…". i take down the #. confront him. he"cant control who calls him". i talk to her 2 days later and she tells me what type of sheets are on his bed. that i bought. what my make up case looks like. he claimed my stuff was his lil cousin’s. i found my stuffed bear in the closet once too. other things of mine hidden. she told me they were together for a year. she doesnt sound psycho. she came to my work cuz she thought i knew about her. he tells me she tried to buy a car from him a while ago. they also went out for drinks one night. 1st- with her and friends. later-just with her. 1st-she had to pee, and saw my stuff. later-he wanted to show her his new furniture. he also mentioned he thought she was coming on to him at the bar…

My dog is potty trained… he’s 2 1/2 years old. and this morning when I took him out of the bathroom (I put him in there instead of a kennel b/c its bigger) he had gone #2. which is VERY weird for him. So I put him outside for the morning then gated him in the kitchen when we left. I came home ( I was gone 3 hours max) and he had pee’d twice and had 2 loose stools. I cleaned up the mess with bleach, and put him outside agian. We left agian for 2 hours and I put him in the kitchen and he had 1 more loose stool and pee’d twice agian. This is VERY weird behavior for my dog. He NEVER does this! I guess I could understand maybe he ate something and it’s upset his stomach… but to pee as well? Other than that, he’s been active and normal… maybe a little more yappy… but all and all normal… Somebody help!
yes I realize that he is sick… I am not an idiot. But I don’t want to fork over a 0 vet bill (which I have done many times) just for them to say… Oh he just ate something. Just give him a bland diet, and make sure he drinks plenty of water… I just want to make sure its not something serious before I blow it off.

Man Pee’s in a Shot Glass
A guy is in a bar with a bunch of his friends. After a while of shooting pool and drinking, he whispers something to his friends. A few minutes later he walks over to the bartender and asks for a shot of tequila. After he takes the shot he says to the bartender,” I’d like to make a bet with you.” The bartender replies, ”Sure I’m in a betting mood.”
So the man bets the bartender ,000 that he can pee in the shot glass placed all the way across the room and fill it up and not spill a drop. The bartender says, ”I’ll take that bet.”
So the man walks to the other side of the room and places the shot glass down. He goes back to the bartender and starts peeing. He doesn’t even get a drop in. He pees all over the place. In the bartender’s face, all over the barstools and everything.
After he was done peeing, the bartender laughed and said, ”You owe me ,000.” The man paid the money with a big smile on his face. The bartender asked, ”How come you’re so happy?” The man replied, ”You see those five guys over there by the pool table? I bet them 0 each that I could pee all over your bar and you’d laugh about it.”
