Our neighbors behind us are nice people. My only issue is they have a bird feeder and while they enjoy the birds eating in their feeder, when they finish the birds come and hang out in my yard. Think Alfred Hitchcock "Birds". This has lead to an increase of bird poo. While right now it’s not an issue (it’s winter) in the summer it is. Our deck, patio furniture, pool ledge..EVERYTHING is covered in poop. You can’t touch anything without there being poop on it. You know it’s bad when the dog refuses to go in his caged area to potty bc there is massive amounts of bird poo in there. We literally have to hose everything down on a daily basis. My question is, is there anyway to repel the birds from our yard? Kind of how scarecrows keep crows out of corn fields and there’s stuff you spray on plants to keep bunnies out of your garden. I don’t want to kill them or harm them in anyway and I realize that I will never get rid of EVERY bird or all the poo. Id just like to see a good reduction of it

He used to be really sick a month ago but I nursed him back to health and took him to vet. He used to have roundworms and they’re all gone at 2nd stool sample test. For a long time he is still having diarrhea and sometimes he is dripping jelly-like light brown diarrhea on my carpet and kitchen floor. It looks like beef gravy! What is it? Giardia? I even feed him high quality holistic food!
He’s much smaller than a normal kitten his age (4 months at 2.5 lbs)
his poo looks like toothpaste and sometimes shiny but not watery

I have 3 dogs. A golden retriever, a scottie and a westie. They are given heartguard since I got them. But when I sent their stool sample to the vet 2 days ago.He told me my retriever has whipworms.I was shocked cos they were on heartguard.
He told me heartguard doesnt protect the dogs against whipworm..I was stunned cos if it doesnt, why didnt he tell me?
He gave me 3 packets of panucur. I gave one packet inside the food on yesterday’s breakfast.Last night,my retriever vomitted and pooped so much.I was thinking the panacur was acting up the cleansing job.But this morning when I woke up,I saw 4 ‘lots’ of poo and pee in the kitchen where my retriever was kept for the night.2 patches was just blood and the other 2 were pee and watery stool without worms.
I called the vet and he says panacur doesnt have such effect but if it happens again,I should send my dog to the emergency room.
I will monitor again to make sure she doesnt poo blood again.
Can someone tell me. As I read that the eggs of the whipworm cannot be eliminated completely. What can I do?
And since heartguard doesnt protect her against whipworm. What is good?Interceptor or sentinel?
As I have mentioned,I have 3 dogs. The retriever is 40lbs 6 months old puppy. My westie and scottie are 6.5lbs 4 months old puppies.
I appreciate genuine advices.Thanks

I really dont know what im asking but ill explain. I bought a chihuahua on march 10th the people gave me a puppy pack which had a little heart worm pill in it kinda like his shot record and reg. application. i bought the type of food that they told me he had been eating. when i took him home he seemed fine he didnt eat much but he drank water and he was a little active. he chased my little girl through the house it was cute. well i went through papers and seen that his was born on jan. 18th 2009 and he had already had his 6 wks shots but there was no name written down as to who the vet was. next day he was a little less active and still not really eating, and i noticed he was having soft stool almost diareaha and spitting up like a newborn baby does so i tried to call the number for the lady i purchased him from and # disconected. on the 3rd day the 12th my little girl dropped him on the hard kitchen floor. omg i was so scared. he hit on his side and i held him a min. then put him down to make sure he was walking fine. a few hours passed and he still seemed fine but with the other prob. of not eating i said im bringing him to the local animal hospital. i went there and told them everything she said he has fleas which is making him anemic which i had made an apt to go to a vet on the 27th of march to get shots and to treat fleas and then she said his blood sugar low and never mentioned anything about him falling just stayed stuck on the fleas. they gave him a capstar checked his poo and gave him a cerenia injection which i did not understand most of what the lady was saying. she said to go to vet next day. so i bombed my house for fleas next day and took him to a vet he was still vomiting and soft stool. vet really didnt communicate with me much either but he check his poo again looked him over i gave him paperwork from the animal hospital gave him another cerenia injection and a droncit injection and some recovery rs food and told me to litterly force feed him with this dropper thing and gave him frontline plus. he said bring him back on 27th for other shots. im like confused really bc i dont know what wrong with my puppy and now he is constantly sleeping not walking around much or playing he finally drank water by himself today though he just dont seem right ya know. and he stoped vomiting until today he vomited clear liquid up a few times today. march 16th. which i know im gonna call vet tommorow and be like hey he still sick. but idk. can anyone help me and explain anything to me. i am so worried bc he just seem sad. his tale has not wagged since 1st day it stays between his legs. thanks.

I live in an apartment complex and I have neighbors to the one side of me, and they seem to slam the cabinet doors shut in the kitchen a lot, its distracting, but hey i can live with that, but sometimes they move furniture around really late at night, or scream and fight to the point you can hear them through the walls…I’ve called the police because i think it was deliberat*(pounding on the wall) before but now i talk to them we get along fine, not friends but well…neighbors who talk. But they are still sometimes too loud…should i just live with grinding my teeth at the thought of them waking my children or say something?
Also one night they thought that i was stomping around upstairs…and i was here at my computer down stairs and both my kids were sound asleep. NO idea what this could have been? (no other apartments to this side of her….water pipes?
Our apartment manager is a JOKE i’ll be posting another question about her lack of managment in a few…i’ve put about 5-8 letter in the office and messages on the machine, about noise dog poo on the yard all of this its really sad, either she is telling them and they dont care or, is ignoring this problems because of "more important issues". Our housing is based on my income, and because i’ll be starting school and only working part time, i am stuck here for at least another year. ugh, and as far as apartment codes, i’m 90% sure its probably not up to the codes, i tried to make a report about a crack in the cement floor of my apartment causeing moisture and mold problems a year ago and the health and housing inspection places told me to move and there was nothing more that could be done. Thanks for your answers!

i have an 8 week old lab and she has been pooping like crazy i have her on puppy chow not canned soft food its hard food. she is constantly going and its very runny what could this be due to? n she goes every where in the house how can i train her to use the bethroom on the puppy training pads its very aggravating tht she doesn’t go on the pads and I don’t know what else to do. She also cries when I have her gated in the kitchen its smal and secluded so she cn learn to go on the pads also she goes on my carpet and its hard to pick up because its so mushy. I’m trying to have patience with her but I don’t know why her poo is soo runny its brownish green poo.
