So, I’m moving out of my dorm soon and into a house. It is a small two bedroom (plus den) house on the lake right in the middle of a city. It’s a very nice place. I’ll be sharing it with my two best friends. We are all 22 years old. Two of us are young professionals and the other is a professional hockey player, so we aren’t billionaires or anything, but we have enough money to live well.

What are some cool things to have in our place? We will probably be there for 3-5 years. Obviously a sweet tv and home theatre system, we have a football table, air hockey, nice furniture, coffee table, etc. I am thinking about putting up some cool artwork, like vintage framed advertisements. Also, a portable well-stocked bar on wheels could be sweet.

In the backyard, we are putting a golf green that you can chip onto and putt with. There is already a hot tub there. We won’t be taking possession for another 5 months so there is plenty of time but I’m so damn excited. Let’s hear some ideas. I want it to be like a very upscale, sophisticated dorm. We like to party but college is over, so we’re stepping up. Thanks!
Umm, no bong. I think that goes against what I described. A pool table would be ok but too expensive, too difficult to move, and takes up too much space.

I have a pool table and wanted to finallly decorate it with some cool stuff. What do you think I should get? I was thinking movie posters, beer themed cue sticks, etc. Any help is appreciated thanks!

We have a huge family room upstairs and we are planning to put dark wood floors (laminate, not the real thing). We want to paint the walls either black or charcoal. We are also going to put a pool table up there. keep in mind

1. It has 3 huge over sized windows with white blinds
2. Ceiling will be left white
3. 52 inch LDC Flat Screen on the corner wall
4. A granite or wood bar overlooking the front yard w/4 bar stools

Im looking to decorate my game room with lots of old Irish and Scottish memorabilia. I have a pool table in the room that I am looking to add custom Billiard balls. I have searched sites all across the web and cannot seem to find a place where I can custom order my own print on the balls. Looking to put whatever I want on the balls, not something that is already in stock from some website. Can anyone help me out ?

I have decided to put a pool table in my loft. I cannot decide how to decorate around it though. I am leaning towards the standard green felt, and would like it to feel something like a bar atmosphere. I have a flat screen HDtv to work with and i’m thinking about mounting it on the wall. my question where should i put the pool table, right now it is in the back area meaning my living area is up front when you enter the room you see my living area would it be more beneificial if i put the pool table up front when you enter then i would have more room to decorate with entertaining room being in back it’s a small space i want a sofa in the space, entertainment center,chairs,sewing table,coffee table,lamps end tables,any ideas would be much appreciated i have green grass outdoor carpet in the space walls are rosemary green , i need any color ideas for curtains, tables, acessories ,i need ideas and suggestions mirrors ect

No tv needed cause there is a projector with chairs, a bar, a table, a pool table, and surround sound speakers.

I’m designing my room like a bar/pub and I need to get things that ‘fit the scene’. So far I’m planning on using wood patterned wall paper on the walls (duh) and I want to get a pool table, dart board/cabinet, neon signs, high table, bar stools, posters and like, a home bar .

That’s all I can think of, what are someother things I could get? (not overly expensive)

I am just curious as to what my house value would be in your neck of the woods. I own a 4000 sq 3 level home on 1/2 acre. I have 3 car attached garage and a heated work room. I have 3 bedrooms/3 bathroom (one with whirlpool tube). Master suite has walk in closet and balony. I have a large finished basement with bar and entertainment center (built-in) and pool table. The basement is finished with rustic barnboards on the walls. The main floor has entry, livingroom, dining room, kitchen and laundry room and a bath. Living room has fireplace and built in book shelves. entry is done with slate tile floor. Living room and all of the upstairs is done with Hickory hardwood floors with blk walnut inlay. upstairs has the 3 bedrm and bath and a loft area with built in bookshelves that over looks kitchen and dining.

Okay so I have a pretty big house well at least so I’ve been told.
-it’s not even an acre almost though.
-I have a really big room with grand Victorian furniture and professionally painted.

Ok so yesterday at school we where talking and one of my friends started showing off how rich he was. Then another person brought up my name and said that he passed my house the other day and was like "Dude why didnt you tell me you lived in that house? its a F8cking mansion!" so then another person said "yeah of course he would be living there his parents are rich as h3ll". so I thought they where kidding around but I think they where seriouse. -I guess are house is pretty big its like 7.5k square feet or something so i guess its a little above average.
-It is built with bricks,lime stone,and glass so I guess that is a nice feature idk im not really that into houses. It is also on the highest mounten by us so it does have a great view. It also has 4 fire places that are very big and made out of brick and lime stone

Sorry if it seemed braggish its really hard to list random stuff and then try to make it sound humble but i tryed my hardest so no comments because i wont put up with it. I’ll report you too if you act like a d0uch so i juest want a simple answer if i sound rich or not and explain why. sorry for spelling errors ill be honest im bad with that but im trying to work on that so dont say comments about that either.

Yesterday we had lunch with some friends, their daughter and daughter’s kids.

The 6 year old had spaghetti with no sauce. She pcked up each strand with her fingers, put one end in her mouth and sucked it in. Her grandmother told her several times that she shouldnt do that. Grandma showed her how to wind the spaghetti around her fork. The kid didnt pay any attention. Sucked it all down.

The 3 yr old was up and running all over. He hid under booths, crawled around other people’s feet, ran thu the bar area and was crawling on the pool table in the game room.

The kids grandmother said sternly not to do this. Grandfather said to stop, or he’d be forced to go get the boy himself. But, neither of them did more than admonish them.

The kid’s mother sat there. Paid very little attention to the kids behaviour.

I wanted to get up, get that little boy, set him down in his chair and tell him I would spank if he got up again, & mean it. I didnt tho.

I live in a semi-detached house in the city, it has a small garden with a pond and lots of pretty fish, i love my fish. My house has seven floors and two floors. The living room is next to the dining room and under my bedroom. I really like the living room because it has a big television and a comfy chair, however, i hate the leopard print rug. The dining room is colourful and has a huge table with six wooden chairs but we never have people over for dinner. I have a small ugly kitchen, the walls are a dark ugly orange and the washing machine is always running which makes a very loud noise all the time, i dont like the kitchen much. The stairs are long and boring, there is thirteen steps, my mother says thats unlucky. I dont like new my bedroom very much. It is next to the bathroom, the walls in the bathroom are white and pretty. The shower is very fun. My mam and dads room is private, so i’ve never been in there before. The games room is the best room in the house, it has a big t.v with an xbox and cool games to play on, and a big pool table. I love the games room.

I hate my bedroom it is ugly and boring, however, my bedroom I had before was the best. It had a big pink double bed with lots of pretty cushions and silk sheets. The carpet was big and warm, it was cream and very soft. I had a television aswell, it was really big and i liked it a lot, i watched lots of romantic films such as ‘The notebook’ and ‘Titanic’. My best friend used to come round and sleep over and we used to play with all my really cool games and had a lot of fun. I had a really big clock on my wall and it used to tick very loudly, especially on a night. When I am older I am going to have another room like my old one.

My neighour hood is quite big and very noisy, it used to be the countryside and had lots of pretty horses, however, now there are lots and lots of big houses everywhere. My next door neighbour always plays very loud music and its very annoying. My neighbours to the right is Mr and Mrs Wilson and they are very nice and give me sweets and cookies. At night there are always people that walk past and shout and scream, my mother says they have been drinking alcohol.

My town in very touristic with a bar everywhere you look, there are lots of tourists and they love disco’s and bars. During the day my dad works at a tourist shop, he sells lots of things such as t-shirts and sun glasses. The high street has lots of clothes shops and ice cream shops, which i like. It has a cinema with lots of movies to watch and there is a swimming pool with a big blue slide.

In the future I would love to live in Australia with kangaroo’s and koala bears in a big house with a swimming pool in my back garden. I want a big room with a very big window, so that i can look at the beautiful views. I want to have a huge pink bed with lots of comfy cushions like my old bed and quite a big dressing table with lots of perfume and make up for me to wear. I will have a brown and white horse in my garden called Max and i will ride him around the town, also, i will have a pet dog called Antonio. I will love my house in Australia
