We recieved these chairs and the wood is in good condition but the light tan leather sheats are damaged. Some scratches, marker stains, visible ware(dark spots and the grain of the leather is visible), and paint stains. None of the stains will come off more than a little bit.

What can I do? Shoe polish?

how do i temporarily cover up my kitchen floor?

I am renting so I cannot permanently do anything.. The floor is old and has deep scratches in alot of places its old rolled out kitchen flooring. Since i dont want to cut out, I would like to do the middle of floor and leave a border of old floor.
Any suggestions would help, I don’t have alot of money, but willing to put enough money into it to make it decent to live. Also what do people think about area rugs in kitchen?

Hey guys, I just had a dumb moment and I forgot to use a cutting board. Now there are several scratches from the knife I used to chop up some celery on my kitchen counter. I really need to know if there is a type of buffing kit I could use. Something with a special rag and some polishing solution for kitchen counters maybe? Has anyone had this problem before? I want to take care of it before my room mate gets back next week, or at least before I move out in three weeks. Something affordable would be best. Thanks!
I don’t need color, I don’t think. You can only tell it’s scratched if you run your hand across it, or if the light hits the scratches just right. I need something that will smooth it out. Something clear. It’s not marble, not really anything special, just sort of a laminated type surface with a glossy finish. I only really cut through the glossy finish at any rate, so that’s what I need to fill in and smooth over. Thanks for all of your suggestions thus far!

I think my cat is dying.. Help me please?

Me and my mom both think my cat got bitten by a snake. She has a bump about the size of a ping pong ball on her side and whenever we try to look at it, she hisses and swats at us then runs away. My mom said that since it’s been a few days, it’s not poisonous and won’t kill her, but my cat’s still acting strange. Every time I pet her, she’ll just sit there and glare at me and when I move my hand from her to stop, she scratches me on the face or hand. Also, she jumped down off the bar one time to a chair and I was on the other side of the bar and put my hand over the side of it [no where near her] and he hissed and swatted at me again.. Please help me? This is very unusual. My cat is very loving. She won’t even eat anymore. :’( I love my kitty and I’ve been crying my eyes out.. Any vets know what might be wrong with her? Or what I could do?
Without taking her to the vet.. I really can’t afford it no matter how much I wanna take her :( So anything I could do at home??
I can’t take her to the vet. It’s not possible.. I’m only 15 and we barely have a place to live. I really wish I could but I can’t. My mom said she had a dog and it had a bump about a week and it lived.. Could that be the same situation?

Who do you work for?

A guy sitting at an airport bar notices a beautiful woman sitting next to him. He thinks to himself, "Wow, she’s so gorgeous she must be a flight attendant; but which airline does she work for?"

Hoping she’ll speak with him, he leans towards her and says, "Love to fly . . . and it shows!" She gives him a blank, confused stare and he immediately thinks to himself, "she doesn’t work for Delta."

A few seconds later, another slogan pops into his head. He leans towards her again, "Something special in the air?" She gives him the same confused look. He mentally kicks himself and scratches American Airlines off of the list.

Next he tries United, saying "I would really love to fly your friendly skies!" This time the woman barks back at him "Man, wha you want?"

The man smiles, then slumps back in his chair . . . "Ahhh, Bee Wee".

-Lol hope allyuh like it ☺
lol, ize one ah dem ppl who luv up bwee ☺
I know that they call CAL
Allyuh doh get de joke?
De joke is that Bwee flight attendants was grumpy/rude and ting lol (not all of them, some were very nice)

it all happened like this:
my mom left a huge bowl of fruits out one night, grapes, cantaloupe, honeydews, watermelons, and strawberries, i think, and when she came back into the kitchen, she said the bowl was empty and my dog was licking his lips. i guess he jumped up on the table.
that was yesterday, and now hes been farting all day (really strong smell), and had diarrhea with huge lumps of who knows what. i think the fruit hasn’t been digested properly , or something.
the first session was just a puddle of "stuff", and the last ones were just watery poop.
my dogs a 2 year old yorkie, and hes not energetic at all anymore, and just sleeps and walks real slow. i called my uncle who says he was a vet and says its just indigestion, and to feed him salt water to dry out his system a bit , and a banana to firm his stool.
i don’t know, that doesn’t sound right.
also, he usually whines and/or scratches at the back door to be let out when he has to "go", but now it seems as if he cant hold poop or urine and goes wherever.
my mom said we need to fix it soon or else he’ll have diarrhea a lot and get dehydrated.
HELP PLEASE!
its been 2 days since he ate the fruit, and now he seems much better. no diarrhea or anything.
i havent fed him yet though, because i read i shouldnt for 24 hours to let his system get rid of all the diarrhea.
do you think he’s better now?

How to remove blue soap pad soap?

I used a soap pad to clean a spot on my vinyl floor. The floor is old so I wasn’t worried about steel wool scratches, but there was a deep scratch caused by moving furniture that is now blue. I don’t want to fix the scratch but I need the blue soap gone. I have tried drowning it in bleach, soft scrub with bleach, bar keepers friend, comet, and a few other things. Nothing seems to work. I’m hoping someone else has done something similar before and found an inexpensive remedy.
Tried Mr. Clean and Baking Soda…

Need advice about putting my cat to sleep?

I have 3 cats and a dog all males I also have a 4 year old little girl.
My oldest cat is somewhere around 14 or so years old he was a stray we took in 10 years ago.
We are having a hard time with this and I will list the reasons why I think he should be put to sleep I made an apt. 2 weeks ago and cancelled last minute because I just couldnt do it.
Ok for starters
1.For about 5 years now he has had alot of itching on his head we have tried everything the vet can think of and nothing helps it is to the point now when he scratches his head he yelps in pain and you can tell it is itchy alot, poor thing
2.For the past year when he goes to the bathroom he has bright red blood in his stool and ALL of his poop is very runny which I am sure is not very comfortable, the vet said stress I had him cjecked a few times.
3.My dog and him used to be best friends they have been together from the start for the past 2 years everytime my cat is even in his sight my dog attacks him and sometimes to the point my dog will have fur in his mouth and my dog guards the kitchen so the cat cant get into the basement, not sure what is going on there really weird the change all of a sudden, maybe the dog senses the cat is sick, not sure? nothing has changed as har as alpha animal would be concerned.
4. for the past year the cat has been missing the litter box it started he would get right next to it and now it is wherever he wants to go and again it is the bloody slimy stuff which is VERY unsanitary to my family, my daughter is old enough to yell out MOMMY yuck come here quick but this is 2-3 times a day I think I am being very patient alot of people would have put there animal down along ago for this reason.
I have tried differnt cat foods, the vet said try a fiber diet etc… no help.
5. The cat has been throwing up for awhile now for awhile it was just once in awhile and it would be his catfood right after he ate and now it is at least once a day and it looks just like slimy poop, I notice he has lost some weight lately.
6. A big problem and with me probably the straw that broke the camels back is he has been peeing on things, on my husbands shirts, on my daughters blankets, on my shoes etc… I wasnt sure which cat was doing it and tonight we were watching tv and my daughter had a blanket on the floor and the cat comes up paws at the blanket my husband was about the yell at him and I said no let him do what he is going to do I want to see that he is actually doing it and sure enough he peed all over it right in front of us and it had nothing to do with he was too old or not able to make it to the litter boxes he just sat there and did it, I was mad!!!!! The worst smell in the world is cat pee especially from a male and I have thrown away ALOT of things some that I love because I refuse to have that smell in the house I dont care how much or how hard you clean it, it still smells and I dont know if you have ever smelled someone that smells like cats but it is gross and I will not be one of those people!!
7. All this poor cat wants to do is go outside and eat grass and lay in the sun and we wont let him out we dont want him to get hit by a car and there is a couple of stray cats across the street, my other cat got out (long story) a few weeks ago and one of the cats beat the crap out of my 18 pound strong cat so I dont want to chance anything.
So I guess by me just writing all of this has helped to make up my mind but the reason why I am having a hard time is
1. My daughter just loves this cat she loves all animals but this cat she just loves she can pick him up carry him around (gently) he sleeps on her lap he rubs up against her he just loves her too, the other too cats she likes too the one likes her ok and the one is scared but this one just adores her.
2. He still has a good appetite and still drinks water fine
3. He still gets playful at times like a little kitten his eyes get all big and he will chase after a bug or a toy.
4. He jumps around like crazy like nothing in the world hurts him.
and 5 he is just a very very nice sweet cat! the best cat I have ever had a nice little lap cat that isnt too buggy and still needs lots of love!
Soooo there is my whole story and I hope someone has the time to read all of this and not judge me but maybe give me some advice I really need it!
Thanks,
Connie
There is one option at the moment, my parents are moving from another state closer to where we live and my m om just loves this cat and she told me to wait on what I do and when they move which will be in a month or so that they might take the cat (have to work on my dad he says no) but the thing would be he would be an outside cat there, they have 2 cats and they are inside/outside cats and this new house has a barn type thing he would live in with a couple acres of land in the middle of nowhere which would be fine now but what happens when it gets cold? I know my mom and she would let him in if it got too cold but with the blood poop trails and the pee that wouldnt last long in there NEW house. I have taken him to a couple vets and they pretty much tell me the same thing about the blood and the itching I have changed his diet and done cortisone shots etc.
As far as my dog he is not aggresive what so ever that is what is so weird he one day just started going after this cat.
thanks

I got Jack when he was just 6 weeks, now he is 3 months. He not only scratches and bites but he jumps on the furniture and most recently the kitchen counter (which is nasty). How do I get him to stop?

my ccat just wont stop pleassseee help!

my cat is about 3 and weve tried everything to stop her from jumping on our kitchen table and scratching furniture.. weve bought " sticky paws" which is double sided tape that her paws stick gently to when she scratches the couch and she learned quickly not to do it. the table on the other hand is a whole other story. for soooo long weve been tapping her in the back end and spraying her with the squirt gun yelling and everything nothing helps! the squirt gun will get her off but she will jump back up in about 5 – 10 min if not sooner. after shes squirted for a while she considers it a bath and will basically laugh at me when i tell her to get down. i am pregnant and cant get up as often as i used to and its almost like she knows i wont get up and force her off the table so the more she does it.. so does anyone have any suggestions before this cat drives me crazy?>>>

Is IKEA ICRAPPA?

We have shopped IKEA for a few years now, and honestly, everything we have purchased except for some kitchen towels are crap…furniture has scratches, the glasses have chips or have broken and the rugs look gross. Now..we don’t have kids and I have a full time maid, so I know it’s not because we live more grossly than others. What do you think about IKEA?

we have tryed the water thing for about 2 months it doesnt seem to work our cat gets in to the paper towels and gets them all over the house the same with the toilet paper and he digs the furniture and gets up on the kitchen table and on the counters and he bites and scratches people

How to make a kitten not be such a terror?

My husband and I got a kitten about a month ago. He is probably close to 3 months old. He hardly ever uses his litter box and when he does, he scratches majority of his litter out. We have a pug and an english bulldog in the house also. The cat plays with them, but when he has had enough he scratches up and down the furniture. He knocks stuff off our kitchen table and it seems like he is doing all of this because he knows it gets under our skins!! PLEASE HELP!!

I recently adopted a year-old kitty from a shelter. We already had a 7-year old cat, who is very friendly, docile and well-behaved. He has been with other cats before and is extremely tolerant.

The new kitty is boisterous and playful, which is accepted at his age. However, I am having trouble controlling him. He also hits the older cat in his playfulness. Some of these are severe scratches. The older guy only paws back in self-defense and mostly walks away from the little one’s assaults.

The little one also pays no heed to me or my husband – when we got him he was scared and insecure and we let him be for the first couple of weeks, so he could find his bearings before we imposed rules.

I really need to train the little one. We love his playfulness, but his bashing our older kitty is troubling us. We would also like to draw some limits (like he can’t sit on some of the furniture, or climb on kitchen counter tops and knock off food).

Any advice?

I have a light wood kitchen table that has a few good scratches in it. I am looking for an easy fix to this. I am not wanting to go all out and sand it down and refinish it. Also i have a good size scratch on my new stainless steel refrigerator. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it or not make it so obvious. All suggestions are welcomed.
