I’m planning to put up a coffee and snack bar by next year. I have menus in mind. The only thing I need is the perfect location and the starting capital which I could raise soon. The problem is I don’t have an idea on how to do inventory and all. Plus what are the Equipment the I will be needing. Thanks a lot.

Me and my boyfriend will be purchasing a little space in NH on monday. We want to turn it into a cafe/hangout during the day. it would have TVs with xbox hookups and wifi and food and drinks (but all prepackaged we will not be cooking or anything like that just sort of a snack bar muffins that kind of thing)
And then a few nights we would clear out chairs and tables and hold concerts there.
It’s pretty high school/ college age focused. we want it to be the hip hang out spot since there is nothing for kids to do in NH there.
We need a good name!!
So far we have A&E Cafe (our initials)
thanks!!

Hi all.
I am pregnant and I want to make sure I go to a good hotel. I remember when I went to Varadero (and I will never ever return), the hotels in the magazine looked very modern and nice. You get there and the side of the buildings are black with the stucco half off and old. I don’t want the same for this time. The food was also horrible. It was the same every day, the cola was not your usual Coke or Pepsi or Crush, it was.. home brand? And it was flat and hot. The standard room had cold water, and bug blood splattered here and there on the walls. I don’t want to see any cockroaches, not dead, not alive. I will never have that experience again, I hope or I will damn all of Cuba.
Anyone can please rate these 4 star hotels?
- Tryp Cayo Coco
- Blau Colonial
- Iberostar Daiquiri
- Melia Cayo Guillermo
- Oasis Playa Coco
- NH Krystal Laguna (which is probably bad)
I appreciate that only those who have had experiences answer this question. I don’t want links to hotels or stuff like that, I can do that on my own. I would like you to tell me about:
- the accomodations (room quality, insects, cleanliness)
- the service in restaurants and maid, especially front desk, and in general
- any bribes? For example they give you a shit room and then ask you for per day for an upgrade.
- the food, is it safe, tasty, repetitive?
- the grounds and the pool. Are there enough chairs for everyone, on the beach and near the pool?
- how is the snack bar service? In a hotel in Varadero, there was no concept of priority of who arrives first, it was based on who looked more threatening to the guy serving. The woman had to come to eliminate this nonsense.
- Did you get sick from the food or water there?
- Do they give you bottled water to take to your room?
I thank you all.

There is a popular snack bar that people attend at my university. One girl was pretty upset because she told a guy that he could not sit on a table because her friends who werent there are coming to do a project. He told her that since there is only 4 chairs left and no chairs belongs to anyone beside the owner of the snack bar that he can feel free to sit there.

My brother and I made this huge "comforter over the backs of the chairs" kind of fort thing in our living room yesterday, but we think it needs a little more "zing" on the inside. We already have a small library, a music area, a spot by the television that we like to call the "gameroom", a place to sleep (of course), a little spot for some of our stuffed animals to hang out in (hey, I know you have some, too!), and a snack-bar-looking-thing. I know that probably sounds like a lot already, but if anyone has any more suggestions to that, they would be extremely appreciated!!!

The inside is decorated with glowing orbs suspended in the air above your head. It’s dark, but you can see well enough to move around. The place is eerily foggy, but you decide it serves to add to the ambiance, as well as the painted black walls, save for the occasional pair of red eyes looking out at you. To your left are comfortable looking couches and chairs, with tables scattered between them. Beyond those you can see a sort of snack bar. Looks like they’re selling various coffee beverages. To your right you see an arcade fitted with all the classic coin-op games you can imagine, everything from Galaga to Pole Position. At the far end of the establishment there’s a projection screen that shows various movies during operational hours. Movies like Seven Samurai or Citizen Kane. Over the sound system would be a constant stream of music, perhaps Screamin’ Jay Hawkins or the Glenn Miller Orchestra. So, how does this place sound?

Is the Air Force Clinic prejudice against the brave valiant grunts at the main Albuquerque Veterans Hospitals.
To whom it may concern:.
The receptionist gave me entrance, after checking my Veterans ID, to Air Force Clinic, at the main Albuquerque Veterans Hospital, where I had a cup of coffee at a nice snack bar, located in the large 2 story lobby decorated with New Mexico Art Deco. It was the waiting area of the Air Force Clinic. It was comfortable, peaceful and relaxed. It had a certain charm to it. I found out later that this country club styled exclusive area was off limits to the veterans and a bum like me, that go to the main hospital.
Lounging on the plush comfortable furniture were Air Force retired Officers, some with their families, talking laughing and reading. I have never seen an officer, and I know what they look like out of uniform, in any of the waiting areas of the main hospital They are neatly dress in fashionable expensive shirts and slacks; no jeans or T-shirts with a military slogan on them or carrying pack backs. No beards. This is what these prejudice people don’t want to see in their nice lobby. Drinking coffee and sitting on the plush furniture>.
On the way out the receptioness told not to come back again, that she had let me this one time in because she wanted to be nice. but next time she wouldn’t let me in.
The Air Force Clinic patients can go to the Veterans snack bar and restaurant any time they want to.
Here are my suspicions: If you have information about my suspicions please sent.
I am going to make this an issue. I am going to try and get the newspapers interested. They Air Force use the medical equipment and are probably receive special attention from the VA Doctors and staff.
These people can go to the main hospital at anytime without showing their identification card. When they go they go through a special entrance and do not mingle with the grunts. I have never seen a retired officer out patient in any of the waiting rooms. I suspect that they come from the Air Force Clinic and use the back entrance where they go directly to their appointment with the doctor in special rooms. This is prejudice. If you have any information concerning this matter. Please answer.

During the summer I see retired folks parking their RV’s in the back 40. I understand it’s a courtesy and the store benifits from extra security and purchase made. I thought what if I was retired and wanted to live inside Wal-Mart. First you get a P.O. box that some store provide to get mail. There is usually a fast food restaurant or snack bar or both. In the evening the night crew could care less if you goto lawn and garden and sleep on the lawn furniture. You can spounge bath in the restrooms and if you need clothes you have an endless supply. Plenty of company too. It’s easy to strike up conversations with others. Wonder how long before management caught on and if they would even care as long as you weren’t a nusiance.
