I’d like to open up the space between my kitchen and living room, and put an island with columns on both sides of with stools looking into the kitchen. If we tore off the sheetrock, would there be some kind of obvious structural support to mimic with the columns, or would we need to call in an architect to advise us? (could a general contractor be able to do this?)

Thanks!

Im 14 and a boy. I was thinking about opening a bar/grill when I get older, not like a big bar more like the bar you see on family guy "Drunken’ Clam"

I was wondering how much it would be for stuff like….

Beer-
A Place for the bar-
TVs-
Stools-
LED Lights-
Electric Bill-
Electric Fans-
Furniture-
Food (Hotdogs, Hamburgers, etc)-
Sodas-
Staff-

Im wondering how much all of this would cost. Weekly/Monthly/A Year/

Cat not always making it to the litter box?

I have a 1 year old cat with some medical problems. He has food allergies and colitis. After months of trying different medications, he is finally on a prescription hypoallergenic diet (Science Diet z/d). It’s the only thing so far that has kept his stools from being completely liquid with blood. His stools are still very soft and not formed through.

Our problem right now is that he doesn’t always make it to the litter box. It seems like as soon as the urge to "go" hits him, he stops right there and goes. I come home from work nearly everyday to find an accident somewhere in the house. I don’t think it’s being done because he’s upset though. He has been standing in the kitchen with me purring and rubbing around my legs and suddenly stops and squats. If we catch him starting and yell at him, it seems to scare him enough to stop and make it to the litter box. He frequently goes just outside the litter box, like he just couldn’t finish making it. He has never peed outside the box.

I am looking for some help or suggestions for how to get him using only the box again. I’m tired of having to steam clean my carpets all the time.

We do not have a large tiled room that he can be shut in, just 2 small bathrooms. The accidents happen whether or not we are home.

We want to keep him, but really need to get this problem solved. Serious answers only please.
A few details to add. There is more than 1 litter box in the house and they are cleaned daily. The "yelling" is just yelling out his name when we see him start to squat. That seems to scare him just enough that he can hold it long enough to get to the litter box. And last, we picked up some of the Cat Attract and have had no luck with it. There were over 10 accidents just today. Any help is appreciated!

Help with linear equation word problem?

On the first night of a concert, Fish Ticket Outlet collected ,000 on the sale of 1600 lawn seats and 2400 reserved seats. On the second night, the outlet collected 73,200 by selling 200 lawn seats and 2400 reserved seats.

Determine the cost for each type of seat.

and another question

A small home-based manufacturer produces hand crafted stools and kitchen chairs. The material for a stool costs 12 and the labour costs 20. The cost of making a chair is 15 for materials and 25 for labour. Each month the manufacturer budgets 960 for material and 1600 for labour.

Determine the number of chairs and stools that can be produced in a month.

Do you remember dime stores?

like Wool Worth’s and the lunch counter with the stools, while you were shopping you could sit right in the middle of the small store and have something to eat?

My dog ate and vomited ibuprofen?

I got home after work today and my dog had jumped the baby gate and consumed an unknown amount of ibuprofen from a bottle on the kitchen counter. He apparently vomited it all up judging from the pile we discovered on the floor, he has a sensitive stomach and vomits on occasion anyway, but he has continued to vomit up anything he eats and he’s acting listless and groggy. I am going to take him to the vet, but I can’t afford to until tomorrow morning when I get paid. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to reduce the likelihood of him dying? He hasn’t had diarrhea or bloody vomit/stools, just vomiting (if he eats) and the grogginess.

Is my house nice????????????

all my friends said they wish they lived in my house. I honestly hate my house. So would you want to live in my house? I’ll describe it below.

-then there’s the living room
- it has two pretty nice couches and 1 really expensive one (like k),an antique armoir with sort of a flat screen (it looks like one from the front but the back is a little big but it has great graphics and everyone thinks it’s a flat screen) and a wii and blue ray player, then behind it is all glass and you see completely over the mountains, then too the right corner there’s a pretty big Granite bar area with two hand carved stools, theres a huge brick fire place, and a Persian rug that’s worth k. Also are living room has very high walls (like 20 feat high)

-also that’s glass too and then there’s the porch
-the porch is made out of lime stone and brick,it’s got a view over the mountains,a stainless steal grill,a lime stone table, and chairs

-the guest room just has a queen bed, stereo system, tread mill, closet, and mini old tv
-the garage has a non flat screen 62 inch tv,a regular white refrigerator, and an Infiniti and Lexus parked in it. But there not brand new there a few years old but in great shape

Would you wanna live in my house? I think it sucks it’s too vintage and needs more technology too even it out. So do you or do not want to live in my house? And why?

I’m about five foot six inches – pretty short for a guy. I consider myself however to have good dressing style and a cute face (I’ve been told so on many occasions), and for my size I got a nice body, however I’m short. The problem is at bars, I don’t even really feel like getting off the stools and going to other groups and meeting people cause I feel so short. I’d like to get over this, and feel attractive at the same time (which is how I feel when the place ain’t so packed. I wanna walk freely and talk to whoever, yet feel I am constantly being judged and compared. I wanna get this out my head, and I know its possible cause I’ve seen other short dudes who just don’t care and go wherever. Like what kind of mind state, what do I tell myself, waht should I learn to believe so I can just mingle like I wanna? Sorry for makin this so long, but your opinions really count

A coworker of mine is sending me signals – but I’m having trouble reading them. I don’t know if he’s just being nice, or if he’s interested. I don’t want to overread them and make a total idiot of myself if he isn’t interested, and then have to continue working with him. Awkward! Anyway, some of the signals are, great eye contact when we’re talking – I mean, if a group of us are talking, he looks directly at me when he’s contributing to the conversation. Yesterday, he was standing about 3 feet away and while we were talking, he leaned over and plucked something off my shirtsleeve. We have a counter with stools – and (again, yesterday) while I was sitting on the stool, he came over to use the computer. I offered to move, but he said I was fine. He was touching me, he was so close – as the stool is close enough to sit on and use the computer, but he needed to use the computer and I had the stool. :) Oh, and I’ve been asking him to have lunch with me and another girl once a week (I have to ask HIM) and a few weeks ago he couldn’t go with me for like 2 weeks in a row. Then he’s come to me the past 2 weeks and asked if he could join us for lunch. We get along great – have a lot in common, but like I said, I don’t want to bite the bullet and admit having to feelings for him if he’s just being nice.

My kitten has diherrea what could it be from?

I have a 12 week old female calico kitten and a 10 week old turkish vandinski the calico has had the runs and soft stools since I got her a week ago but the other kitten seems fine. She was eating friskies cat food when I got her and I changed her food to iams kitten food which both kittens are eating(I am not sure if this is a good enough food?) I am thinking it might just be that she either she has a sensitive stomach and will need better food or maybe she has worms I am not sure. I think that if it’s not worms I will try to change her food to Royal Canin kitten food becuase our Chihuahua is on the same thing and I know this is a good brand… also does anyone know how much it cost to get a kitten dewormed at a vet and if they need to go in for an appointment or can I just buy the pill from the vet also I was wondering if over the counter deworming pills would work please if someone can help me on what is going on could you please let me know and let me know?
