I have serious lower back pain with two dehyrdrated discs in the lumbar. I also have an office job. Sitting is absolutely killing me. I’m in physical therapy, but I’m hoping an ergonomic chair might help some too. Unfortunately I need to buy my own chair, and I can’t really pop for an Aeron. We just have your typical swivel, up/down task chairs. Does anyone have a suggestion for a sub-500(400 would be even better) ergo task chair?

I just bought a seven piece used patio furniture set. My question is how to I get the cushions on the chairs to puff up again. Of course from usage they are packed down and don’t have the "puff" look anymore. The cushion design itself is still in great shape, no rips or stains, just lacking in comfort. Any suggestion is appreciated.

The hall were having our wedding reception at has dark wooden floors. Should we rent dark wooden chairs or white wooden chairs. The hall provides tables and chairs too. The chairs they provide are gray fold up chairs. I feel their too casual for the wedding reception. I don’t want to rent chair covers because there too expensive. Renting nice chairs is actually the cheapest option I have found. Not sure what chairs to choose from. What is your suggestion?

A boy was meeting his girlfriend’s parents for the first time for dinner. He goes back in for breakfast and his mother gives him a bowl of dry cereal. “How come I don’t get any eggs and bacon? Why don’t I have any milk in my cereal?” he asks. “Well,” his mother says, “I saw you kick a chicken, so you don’t get any eggs. I saw you kick the pig, so you don’t get any bacon, either. I also saw you kick the cow, so you aren’t getting any milk this morning.” Just about then, his father comes down for breakfast, and he kicks the cat as he’s walking into the kitchen. I know what you’re asking yourself "Why orange?! EWW!"

Well to make a long story short, my sister and I are college students who are fed up with dorm life, so we decided to rent a house (unfortunately it’s the only house available a week before school, so beggars cannot be choosers).

Every single room excluding the kitchen and bathroom have a hideous orange/burnt-orange carpet (I’m not sure which one it is so i put both).

What colors and themes can we use to decorate it?

Please note that I would like to avoid putting pictures of carrots and tomatoes on my wall (that was my mothers suggestion…)

I would like advice on colors of rugs, curtains, furniture, etc.
and possible themes I could use.

Everyone keeps telling my sister and I to use our own personal style, I consider myself to have a conservative yet fun style, but it doesn’t include orange (can you tell this is traumatizing me? lol)

one time completely paneled with knotty pine. He has been doing son renovating and removed two of the paneled walls and replaced them with sheet-rock. He would ike to leave two paneled walls and paint them the same color as the sheet-rock walls. Question: Because this is a basement I want it to be light and bright. His furniture is dark blue leather. I was thinking of painting the walls white. There are 2 full size windows in the room. Would you agree or do you have another suggestion? Also, kitchen, natural slate tiled floor in charcoals grey with green and red accents. Walls are divided with a chair rail. One brick accent wall that I don’t want to paint, the red brick complements the red in the tile. Ideas for the walls please, I was thinking about a pewter grey for the lower wall and not sure of a color above the chair rail. Ideas appreciated!

The colors are Sherwin Williams Quixotic Plum as an accent wall in the family room and Mystic Mauve on the other walls. The main areas would be Latte. That’s where he said the clash is coming.

This is how downstairs flows: Entry way to a 2 story foyer Immediately in front of you on right,stairs. To the left formal area – living & dining. From that room, or a hall, you come to the kitchen w/ a bay eat in. All those wall will be in Latte. Then you come to the family room. The wall facing you will be Quixotic Plum. The others will be Mystic Mauve. His suggestion is to do it Latte and do the other formal room QP. (no furniture yet – wanted the formal red).

What is your opinion? Is 00 +200 4 paint bad? I’d say it’s 1300 sq ft area – plus upstairs hall. The trim would be white – said cheaper to touch up stairrail.
I didn’t like the MM, so trying exclusive Plum. it’s a shade darker. Also trying nomadic desert – 1 shade lighter than latte.

P.S.:

Mystic Mauve is a grayish-lavender – not pink @ all. Quixotic is a dark plum w/ a bluish-gray base. Latte is the color of the drink.

My friend has 2 beagles
1 female – not fixed
1 male – fixed
Both over 1yr old
She says they chew on her furniture, her daughters clothes, EVERYTHING
They stay either outside or in the kitchen while she is at work.
The dogs have lots of chew toys from stuffed animals to rubber chewies.

My suggestion was maybe their plethera of chew toys resemble their household items too much. For example a stuffed animal can feel like clothing or furniture cushions.

Right now I have carpet in the family room and living room. However my mom wants to replace the carpet with tiles. The walls in the rooms are white and the cabinets are apricot-colored. There’s a chimney in the family room and the furniture in the living are reddish and dark brown. There are currently white tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. My grandma wants the tiles of the living room and family room to match with the bathroom and kitchen but I’m not sure if that’s right. So first of all, are putting tiles in the family/living room acceptable or are tiles only for bathrooms and kitchens? And if it is acceptable, what color and type of flooring should I buy?

My dad is planning to install the tiles himself because we don’t want to pay for the cost of labor. So what type of tiles would be easy to install? Should we install the tiles ourselves or should we hire someone. What’s your suggestion?
