what can i use to protect wood floors from scratches and to keep furniture from sliding?

for example i have a kitchen table and if someone pushes it or bumps it, it slides and it scratches the floor. the way the legs of the table are made it will not work to put any of the kinds of things that you have to drill or screw something into them. please no B/S answers

you can use those soft felt adhesive pads
so your heavy furnitures will not slide easily on floor
and if it will do slide without scratch.
Don’t choose round hard surface pad, because your table will movin like wheeler.
don’t forget to clean table legs before attached
Hardware stores sell these self adhesive felt pads you just peel and stick to the bottom of the legs of furniture.
