Yes. Wal-Mart has a policy where they give adjustments on purchases made within 14 days. If the numb-nuts at the "service" desk give you trouble, just return them and then re-purchase them.

You are talking about price protection. If they don’t give you the differentials in price, you can always return the whole thing and repurchase it at a lower price. More hassel but there is no policy on return (and then purchse it again later).
Most companies will give you the lower price if it is within a certain amount of time. I would say take the receipt to them and ask. All they can do is say no. When they do, go home, get the chairs, return them and purchase the new ones.
I actually had this happen at K-mart and it was about a week after the allowed time. When she told me that, I said that it would really suck for me to have to get the game table out of hiding in the basement (it was for the kids for x-mas) drag it up the stairs and back here just to return it and purchase another one.
She was great and went ahead and did an exchange for the item without me having to do all of that.
Just ask them, it won’t hurt!
